Saw them on Instagram and was genuinely excited to try this place out, but what a letdown it was!
To begin with, we went on a Sunday evening and there was literally no one in the cafe. The vibe was so dead inside that even the staff looked bored to the core. Should've left that very moment, but we decided to give the food a try because there's so much hype around it.
Food: We ordered Turkish eggs and Katsu with sticky rice from their winter menu after their staff failed to suggest/recommend their best dishes. He just went blank and couldn't come up with a single name, which we assumed meant he might be new to the place, so we ignored it. But the food that was served was just bland and under-seasoned. We told the staff that the Katsu dish was dry, and the best solution they came up with was offering kimchi, another dry element.Nothing stood out. Totally disappointed.
The last nail on the coffin was the behaviour of this one particular female staff with 0 etiquettes. I was checking out the tees and accessories kept on display when she came from the back and shoved me saying 'hatna zara' very rudely. Me and my husband were shocked for a moment at this behaviour coming from a 'professional' staff. She didn't even realize her mistake and went on ordering other staff around, which made us realize she was probably the most senior staff member of the cafe. Still, this is how they treat their customers.
No wonder the cafe was completely empty on a weekend while the nearby cafes had a waiting list.
Loved their Summer Pani Puris and bowls. The ambience is cosy and just perfect 🤍🤍
The food they served was extremely bad. We had ordered multiple dishes and none of them turned out good. Tacos, both veg and non veg, were extremely dry from inside and their veg taco had cottage cheese which tasted like rubber. I had high expectations from their Osaka latte but it was just a small cup of normal coffee. Chicken tartine was also pretty bad. Hot chocolate was too runny and didn’t have a good taste. We even complained to the staff regarding it but they were not interested in any feedback
This was my second visit to this branch of ATE after a great experience the first time, and it continued to impress (although I do see some gaps in quality consistency). I like their food and the overall vibe — it’s never too crowded, + the staff is attentive, courteous, and polite. The ambience is warm & comfortable, making it a great spot for remote work, casual meetups, or simply unwinding over a meal.
Across my two visits, I’ve tried a fair bit from the menu. Their coffee is excellent, though I didn’t enjoy the cold brew on my last visit — I’d suggest going for something like a frappe instead. The brekkie board was good, with the hash browns being the standout. The BERRY HOTCAKES, however, are easily my favourite. I’ve ordered them on both occasions, and they’re delightful — beautifully presented, with delicious frosting and vanilla custard. 10/10. I also tried the fried chicken burger, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy inside, with just the right seasoning & sauce.
Overall, ATE remains a enjoyable place that I’d recommend.
Awesome place.
Food is another level than most places.
Breakfast, lunch and deserts - all top level, chef desinged meals.
Service is great. kind waiters, fast working and sweet. The vibe is very chill with calm music, comfortable seats and sofas and clean and tidy place.
It's also a good place to work in with your laptop.
They also served healthy food for our dog.
Highly recommended❤️
So I'll be honest, this was our first visiting the place and had nothing to decide but
Rahul made our visit really enjoyable with his friendly attitude and excellent service and his recommendation was on point. He was attentive, polite, and made sure we had everything we needed from the start. The coffee was smooth, fresh, and full of flavor, while the food was tasty and well prepared. The cafe had a nice, relaxing atmosphere, which made the experience even better. Great service, delicious food, and quality coffee.. I would definitely visit again and highly recommend this place.
Horrible experience, you enter the space amidst a dirty outdoor entrance filled flies outside. You enter the space expecting good food . We ordered 5 dishes ! The marinara pasta tasted like a pre prepared sauce with no fresh ingredients, the chicken tacos had a very badly prepared minced chicken that was smelling,. Ordered 3 drinks that were fine .
The biggest disappointment was the chicken popcorn which was horribly prepared, the oil was smelling like stale oil, the chicken again was bad !!! We returned this dish after trying , they accepted there was a problem. But what We get a was a full bill with items that were not consumed, badly prepared and stale. On the request to cancel the dish returned we were just told that they have reported the issue and the dish will not be cancelled. They offered us a complimentary dessert which we obviously did not have after such a horrible food experience and non- cooperative staff !! Bad experience overall would not recommend anyone to come here !!!
This is definitely one of my fav cafes in delhi
Totally stumbled upon this beautiful place by accident went there for green neko but walked into this store, the coffee is really great the staff is nice.
The Ambience is what makes it a must visit loved the cozy white minimal vibe could easily sir here for hours be it breezy march, summer or winters
Recently visited here and orderd the truffle pasta really loved it
Id recommend visiting in the morning
I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday, and Rahul made the experience truly unforgettable. From the moment we were seated, he was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal, always checking in with a smile and ensuring we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive.
The food was absolutely delicious—beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with great care. The coffee was the perfect way to end the meal: rich, aromatic, and expertly made.
What made the evening extra special was the way he acknowledged my birthday and made me feel celebrated. His professionalism, kindness, and excellent service turned a great dinner into a memorable occasion. Rahul is a wonderful steward who clearly takes pride in making guests feel valued.
Thank you, Rahul, for your outstanding hospitality. I hope to be served by you again on my next visit! ❤️
A cute little cave themed cafe (each of their other outlets have a unique theme), great coffe, sumptuous food and pleasing ambience. A must go if you are in SJ enclave
The food was okay, wasn't something exemplary, it was decent... The quantity did make me question if it was worth the price, but whatever, that's how these places get you... The service was exceptionally slow. We waited for quite some time to get the menus, and still, nobody came to ask for our order or anything for that matter... It was not self-service, yet we pretty much self-serviced. The cave theme wasn't really evident. It ended before it even started, like they gave up on it midway. It was just a claustrophobic room, if anything.
First thing you will notice is the ambience - the style, colors everything.. Perfect spot for me time with a book
Indonesia Java pour over was on spot - ask for more cookies with it 😁
Your other order should be Almont Croissant latte - again the almond crisp with it hit my sweet spot
Seems like I loved their cookies and crisps
Perfect brunch/breakfast place with a special menu dedicated to the pups. An adorable puppy chino with a carrot and apple cake for dog sounds better than my meal. But the hooman menu is just as kickass. The turkish eggs with a parantha, plate of pancakes that looks like a piece of art, good coffee and a cozy corner makes up for a warm hangout over the weekend.
A wonderful experience after coming back to this café after a long time! The food was delicious, the coffee was excellent, and everything felt fresh and well prepared.
What really stood out this time was the service from Rahul. He was incredibly attentive, polite, and genuinely caring throughout the visit. He made sure everything was taken care of and checked in at just the right moments without even asking like he knows what we want, we were 4 of us but still he took us on level like we maybe ever expected everything was so smooth during our moment.
I’ve visited before, but the service has never felt quite like this. With Rahul, the experience has gone from good to excellent. His attention to detail and warm hospitality really made the visit special.
Great food, great coffee, and exceptional service. Thank you, Rahul, for making this visit such a memorable one! Highly recommended.
Great food paired with a wonderful ambience and a beautiful setting. The service truly stands out—the staff is warm, attentive and very friendly. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and their recommendations are spot on. Everything we tried exceeded expectations. Highly recommended!
I wont recommend to go to this place for food. Only thing that is good here is aesthetics but that too is not out of the world.
We ordered coffee including cold brews and ice lattes but none of them was good. This was one of the worst cold brew I had in some time.
Food wise we ordered toast which was a mess impractical to eat and was simply a bread piece with lettuce on top of it. Sides had one aloo tikki and I am not sure how that was going along with the dish. Overall food was again pathetic.
Server asked for the review and we gave honest review but I think no one cares and was just for formality.
Overall not a place to visit for sure ✔️
This new coffee place in town is must visit if you are looking to satisfy your coffee cravings. Situated in safdarjung ,the place has all white interiors with concept of different areas for different purposes.
The coffee is amazing with equally good sandiwches and croissant. We had there iced pour over which was smooth and had a great medium roast after taste, the butter scotch latte will address your sweet tooth.
The ate croissant with beacon is must try. The chicken chill sandwich was also great.
With minimal white chic interios the place is great for quiet evening date with your friends who love the taste of coffee, with wide variety of desserts you will be left for wanting more
Tried this place today and really liked the overall vibe. It’s quite aesthetic and has a nice ambience, though the space is a bit compact which might feel slightly crowded during peak hours.
Coming to the best part — the drinks! I absolutely loved the Berry Blast and the house cold coffee, both were refreshing and well-made.
Overall, a great spot to chill for a quick visit, especially if you enjoy good drinks and a cozy aesthetic setting. Would definitely visit again!
Tried the Espresso Macchiato and coffee ginger ale. The latter was quite good, fizzy refreshing and well rounded, the coffee had a slightly chocolatey flavor profile, the bitterness went quite well with the sourness of the ale. The espresso macchiato was a bit too mediocre, the coffee seemed to not be perfectly extracted, it seemed to be bitter, but not in the usual coffee way, rather in an overpowering, overextracted espresso fashion. Otherwise the place, ambience and the staff, everything was top notch.
Lovely outlet of ATE coffee shop that has such beautiful minimalistic vibe, and serve good coffee. I had their iced latte in this outlet and it was nice. The overall experience was nice, and quiet. I love the cave theme and the white interiors.
Definitely recommended if you are in Safdarjung and are tired of TWC and BT coffee.
Cute, cozy, comforting! Just how a coffee shop should be.
Overpriced a bit.
Mentioned- croissant sandwich served with salad on side, but no salad available.
Had a great experience at Altogether Experimental, Safdarjung. The pastas were flavorful, well-balanced, and cooked perfectly. The iced Americano was refreshing and smooth, with a clean taste that really highlighted the quality of the coffee beans. You can tell they take their coffee seriously, and it makes a difference. Definitely a great spot for good food and specialty coffee.
Ordered the Burrito chicken bowl along with a desert which was gluten free and had jaggery. Both were good.
The ambience is cozy with those cave style seating. The mocha latte was to die for! And Korean cheese bun perfectly complimented it. A cute small cafe experience.
Only the seating was too close to each other that creates disturbance when it’s crowded as you cannot indulge in a conversation without eavesdropping on the other table.
A nice picturesque place. But but the service was slow, no one was coming to your table, I have to go to the coffee station to call for someone. They even served me water after I reminded them. Ordered few things the taste was amazing but my peri peri chicken didn’t had any salt so I asked them to put some salt but it didn’t make the cut and still was bland, so the guy said I will change it but then again he picked the same dish and give the same thing again. Umm that’s wrong, right. But but place was picturesque.
Loved it!
The food was exactly as they advertise. It is a gourmet cafe. Go for the coffee and dessert!
The staff is courteous and knowledgeable!
It has style, character and imagination…
I cannot talk enough about the dessert. Their seasonal menu is super fresh, great treat for eyes as well as palette!
The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really tell that care and quality ingredients went into the preparation. The taste was amazing, the portions were perfect, and the overall experience was wonderful. Looking forward to trying more dishes soon. Highly recommended!” 😋

I am so impressed!!Must try for a any occasion.

I recently visited this cafe and fell in love with its cozy urban cave ambiance. They offer a selection of spectacular products, all of which are delicious. Conveniently located where Got Tea used to be, it's now a perfect spot to grab coffee, relax, and read a book in peace. It's definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a cute, quiet place to unwind.
Such a cozy and chill cafe with amazing matcha and coffee. One of those places you’d want to keep coming back to.
It’s a small cozy place with limited seating. Food is really tasty with decent portion size. Tacos are slightly spicy, so would be a good idea to inform about your spice choices i advance.
Great Ambience ( beautiful setup, soothing+complementing lights and the music). The food is also pretty decent. Must visit.
Must try food. It’s unique! All their bakes are awesome. Cafe ambience is like a cave theme and feels very cosy and nice.
One of my favourite cafes since many years. No one does coffee better than them.
Hiii,
I want to share my experience of the ate cafe which was very good.
"Wow, what a cappuccino! The perfect blend of flavors, and the staff were so friendly and attentive! ☕️"
"Loved the cozy vibe and the cappuccino was on point! Great service, thanks for the warm hospitality."
"The cappuccino was rich and delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make our experience special. 👍"
"The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable, and the cappuccino was perfectly crafted. A winner!"
I love the breakfast and coffee culture here. ate – Altogether Experimental offers everything from bagels to parfaits that taste healthy yet gourmet. Compliments to the chef for such a thoughtful menu!
Please don’t go by the photos of this place, how it seems instagrammable and another good looking new spot in Delhi. The food here is quite pathetic, I went there recently and ordered two items — one was marinara pasta and the other was a recreation of hummus plate w pita. The pasta was so spicy, and the tomatoes were definitely not fresh, we couldn’t eat more than 2 bites. It was horrible, pasta is not meant to be like that!! And the other dish was so average and just these two things costed us 1200 which seemed quite a waste. We weren’t full or satisfied. Not visiting again, their desserts are quite amazing though.
This one’s quite cramped too, the tables are kept so close to one another that you can nearly hear the people talking who’re seated next to you. There is limited privacy. The staff was kind, however, due to the weird structure of the Cafe, there was no way to call your waiter or wave at them, you had to get up go outside and call them.
One of the best food I have had in a long time, even the coffee is really good, do try their chili lime chicken tacos
The Sticky Rice & Katsu Chicken Bowl at ate – Altogether Experimental is one of the best Asian-style bowls I’ve tried in Delhi. Every ingredient tasted super fresh. Chef’s creativity shines through. A definite repeat visit!
Got an iced chamomile tea and a shaken Saigon. The flavours could be more balanced especially in the tea. It wasn’t as chamomile forward and tasted more of orange juice.
Flambo cozy yet chic cafe. Great staff, service and petit meal options. Great variety of hot/ cold beverages and drinks
I had an amazing time at ate – Altogether Experimental. Their Truffle & Garlic Fries were full of flavour, and you can tell the chef puts real passion into the menu. The ambience is calm and aesthetic. A perfect spot for long brunches and conversations.
If you enjoy fusion flavours, the Gochujang Butter Garlic Udon Bowl at ate – Altogether Experimental is amazing. The chef has created something really exciting here. The café has a nice buzz yet feels peaceful. Good spot for lunch.
Loved the PB & Toast from the breakfast menu at ate – Altogether Experimental. The bread was soft and fresh with an amazing nutty spread. The chef’s plating always makes the food feel premium. Great place to start your morning.
Loved the Summer Pani Puri and Shawarma Chicken at ate – Altogether Experimental. The chef has added such a fun international twist to familiar flavours. The café feels premium yet cozy. Coffee is fantastic too!
Absolutely loved the Shawarma Chicken and Cold Brew combo at ate – Altogether Experimental. The chef pairs spices very well. The vibe is so peaceful that you can sit for hours.
Small little coffee shop tucked Jan. corner of B6 market. Lovely food and coffee Lavender lemonade was delicious! It’s a pet friendly cafe.
The location on google map is wrong. It’s opposite third wave coffee in B6 market
Full marks to the Ate Cave team. Chef Aryan deserves special mention for the perfect Pasta and French toast. The Cappucino surpasses any other in the country. Thanks Chef Pranay and Chef Deepanshu, the manager Ashish, and service person Pradeep for warmth, smiles and at- home vibes through their impeccable hospitality.
Very good ambience to hangout with friends and family. Highly recommended this café food was amazing and coffee was excellent thank for give me a good experience..
I love to visit again and again
Had a wonderful experience at this coffee shop. The coffee was rich and perfectly brewed, and the pasta was delicious and comforting. A special mention to Vishal, who attended us—super polite, attentive, and made the visit even better. Definitely a place I’d love to visit again.
