Balance Coffee

It is a cosy place with both indoors and outdoors seating. The aircon might get too strong in certain spots so sitting outside with the natural wind might be a good idea. Free wifi + power sockets at like 2 spots.

Ordered a flat white ($3.50) because it's my usual, and then a Geisha pourover ($8) because it is their signature drink. While the flat white is not as milky as expected, the Geisha is really clean and light. I think I tasted some berries? Would want to go back again if I'm in the neighbourhood.

is the guy working here the boss??? because the attitude is utterly trash, glaring at the customers when they walk in, and raising his voice over things like collecting the drinks late? the environment is also absolutely uncleanly, with pieces of vegetables all around and the entire counter filled with coffee powder, the kitchen is so unpleasant to look at with everything stacked and unwashed. i am seriously doubting the hygiene of the place, and to further worsen it, the attitude turns customers away badly. if u are so unhappy working here, then shut down the cafe.but at least the taiwan milk tea is good, not so sure if its clean though

Atmosphere is fine and the coffee was ok. Friendly service. It would be nice to have some working areas to charge laptops inside or outside.

Love the coffee! Enjoyed sipping my large cuppa oat latte while chilling here. Love it when they serve it in a plain white cup! 🫶☕️ Plus points too for providing fast and free wifi.

Was secretly hoping for a nicer latte art than one with bubbles and stuff 🙃, after seeing photos online. Also the café seems to be only half set up, not too sure. 🤷‍♀️
