BRKLYN Torrefaction

We used to buy a 3kg coffee bag of grinded coffee from them every few months because we didn't have a coffee grinder and the coffee was really good. Unfortunately, every time we came there, the workers were huffing and puffing about having to grind this amount as if that was not a service offered and advertised by themselves.
Coming to the situation at hand, last time my girlfriend came to buy coffee (12th or 13th of March) while I was at work and couldn't come, they grinded the coffee too small (not the espresso grind but smaller - it was very obvious that the grind was different to the remaining coffee we still had in the house from last batch we purchased from them) which prevented us from using the newly purchased coffee in our espresso machine all together. As this was not what we had ordered (or gotten ever before), we took the bag of grinded coffee back to try and get a new batch that we could actually use.
First try, on Saturday (21st), the ladies who are working there were shocked by our request, didn't know what to do so they tell us to come back on Monday, when their boss will be around and he will be able to offer help. Okay, no problem, we've been without coffee for a while, what's 2 more days...
Second try, on Monday (today). The ladies state that they can't help us, it's not their fault and when asked about a refund, they explicitly state they can't do it because 2 weeks have passed (false, it hasn't been 2 weeks meaning they are actually breaking the law by refusing the refund), they won't grind a new batch of coffee for us because "it's too much work", and the only thing they can do is just give us a 3kg bag of beans, meaning we should also buy a coffee grinder afterwards.
My girlfriend is not fluent in Spanish but she knows it well enough to also understand the language used by the ladies behind the counter which I would rather not repeat publicly. I can only say that they can be very happy that I could not come there due to work schedule as this would not have ended the way it has.

Never going to step into this place again and we will be buying our coffee elsewhere, where we are treated with the respect, and not the nonsense that we encountered every time we would come to get our bag of coffee. Given the rating on Google Maps, this is definitely not an isolated issue and the 'boss' should really re-evaluate their hiring practices as the employees they hired shouldn't even work in hospitality with their 'skills' and manners.

I love this cafe. I go there at least once a week. They have tasty bocadillos, great coffee and croissants. The service is incredible, people working there are always nice and if you buy coffee beans you get a free drink.

It is a perfect spot for remote workers or anyone who just want to taste an amazing Colombian coffee. The team is very friendly, and the quality of the wifi connection is good and stable.

Great atmosphere, bright and light. Great coffee, lots of tables, plugs and wifi. Great coffee shop to work from :)

Excellent coffee and salads. The Italian salad with burrata, wow, quite filling and for a very good price. One of the female baristas has some smugness, but if you get used to it and try your best Spanish she's fine. The others are very friendly. The wifi is also very fast!

BRKLYN Torrefaction is the perfect place for getting work done or enjoying top-notch Colombian coffee. You'll be greeted by the cozy scent of coffee as soon as you walk in, and the friendly staff will make you feel right at home. It's a great spot to be productive, and the reliable wifi means you can stay connected hassle-free. I visit weekly for either the Chai Tea or the Cappuccino. Great variety of milks and sugars for your coffee. Highly recommend visiting.

Nice coffee place, it has a nice natural light. It is great for working as well. Coffee is from Colombia, they know how to roast it very well.

Reliable, amazing, good wifi, coffee, vibes.

I often stop by for a break from work and have one of their delicious fruit teas, sometimes an iced Americano too; the coffee is very good.
They have a wide variety of sandwiches, rolls, and pastries, and everything always looks delicious.
It's ideal for working; the Wi-Fi works well, and the tables are very comfortable. There's an upstairs area for a quieter atmosphere, and large tables for meetings. They also have a very nice outdoor terrace.

This New York-style café transports you to the iconic New York cafes, complete with coffee taps. It's ideal for enjoying a good cup of coffee and also as a co-working space to disconnect from work from home. The terrace is almost always sunny, a definite plus. The only downside is the lack of Wi-Fi.

I came with my laptop, and it's a good spot for that. It's not the prettiest, but they don't require you to set up a laptop area, and you can easily find the Wi-Fi code. Plus, the matcha latte is delicious!

Spacious, welcoming, and very quiet. The woman who serves you (as far as I know, only in the afternoons) is very friendly. I've been there a couple of times with a friend, sharing work ideas on my laptop. The Wi-Fi connection is excellent, and there are electrical outlets right next to the tables. We'll definitely be back.

It's not cheap, but it has Wi-Fi, it's cozy, it has a certain vibe... and a cool little terrace.

Very expensive, the coffee machine was making an unbearable noise the whole time and the wifi wasn't working.
