It’s a modest, clean and modern cafe located in the outskirt of Jogja’s busy touristy area. The cafe gives good ambiance for working, hanging out or reading books. I ordered a manual brew coffee using Japanese method, served cold with ice. The taste of the coffee is light and energizing.
A few of my friends mentioned they have visited this cafe, and some said the coffee here is great. I wanted to see for myself, and it turns out they were right. I totally agree that the coffee here is really good. I ordered a Dirty Latte for the first time. It tastes incredible. The seating inside is not the best for working from a cafe because you have to sit on concrete chairs with just a tiny cushion, and the tables are small too. But there are still plenty of table and chair options outside. The service is fast and friendly. You can pay using QRIS or go cashless.
Came here for the famous dirty latte but it was sold out 😭 (it’s limited and sells out fast, so come early if you want one!)
Ended up trying the ESP-19 instead. It’s like a fancy version of your usual coffee: bold espresso with soft whipped cream on top. So smooth and comforting 🫶🏻
Also tried one of their milk coffee drinks (I forgot the name 🫣). Light, but not too strong, just really nice.
Vibes? Quiet and cozy. Perfect spot for working or meeting up. And the baristas were super friendly too 💙
one of the best dirty latte in town, they have special milk that taste so silky. quiet ambience and the guest, good for working or have a meeting with warm service from the barista.
Parkir terbatas terutama untuk mobil, karena parkirannya jadi satu dengan pengunjung hotel di gedung yang sama. I really liked the ambience here, it was quiet, stable wifi, perfect for me to do my work. Unfortunately, I really couldn't enjoy the drink. I ordered a lychee yakult with less sugar but it was still super sweet that I didn't even want to drink it - couldn't handle the sweetness :( and they still use single-use plastic cups/paper cups even though we ordered for dine in. Would be much better if they can use reusable glass to reduce plastic waste
The first time I got off Tugu Station, I immediately stopped by this place. I was intrigued by the magic of Bura Bura.
I also met Rara after not seeing her for about 6 months, haha. Back to the topic: I think the taste is delicious. There are also several choices of beans, guided by the barista if you're unfamiliar with beans. The ambiance of this cafe is also quite good, especially for WFC.
I forgot to try the Wi-Fi, so I don't know how fast it is. But for those who like magic or are looking for a cafe near Tugu Station, stop by Bura Bura Coffee EU!
BTW: The security guard and parking attendant were very welcoming and kind.
Location: Located next to the road and near a traffic light. There are indoor and outdoor spaces. Because it's close to the main road, the outdoor space is quite noisy with traffic noise, especially if there's a vehicle scurrying along the road. The outdoor space faces the main road and an alley. It's perfect for those just hanging out. If you're working on assignments, you can use the indoor area. There's also free Wi-Fi, and there's an extra cable roll for those who need to charge but run out of sockets (just ask the barista).
Menu: Quite varied, and the drink prices are standard Yogyakarta coffee shop prices.
There's a bathroom in the back; just ask the attendant. The bathroom is a mixed toilet and urinal, so it's just one room. Before entering, you can grab a tissue near the sink, as it's not clean, nor is it dirty. That's it, anyway, haha (in my opinion).
The motorbike parking area itself is immediately facing people who are hanging out outside, it's quite embarrassing because you're looking at me🫨🥴
This was my visit on October 2nd:
This Bura-Bura outlet is different from the others. The space is smaller, giving it a more chill vibe than the one near Kotabaru.
One of my favorites here is the black forest, which has a sweet filling and a crispy texture when heated. The white watermelon is a must-try. It has a fruity flavor.
Besides being perfect for chilling, this place also has a Wi-Fi connection that's over 10 Mbps.
I really like the coffee, all of it is delicious! I tried the magic, milk coffee, Americano, etc. It was perfect for me. Unfortunately, when I wanted to order the pastry, there was only one left 😭
The place is good enough for using a laptop, and it's also quite suitable for hanging out. Although the space isn't very large, it can still accommodate up to six people. The bathroom is shared with the hotel, and I'm not sure if there's a prayer room. Motorcycle parking is right in front. If you're being pulled over by a car, ask the security guard first to see if it's right, because you might end up blocking the road.
First time ordering Jasmint coffee milk base, it has a unique taste with the right jasmine flavor, the indoor area is cool and comfortable for WFC during the day, the outdoor area is less comfortable for using a laptop because the tables are not as big as the indoor ones but each table has a power outlet.
A coffee shop in the Cokroaminoto area.
The concept is great, but the outdoor area isn't ideal for laptop work. And all the chairs aren't comfortable for prolonged sitting.
One of the best coffee shops in town. A cozy spot, not too crowded, with fast Wi-Fi, perfect for working on assignments. The coffee is delicious, and the prices are competitive. I'm sure you'll be a regular. 👍
The place is comfortable, the service is fast, and the Wi-Fi is fast. There's also a smoking area.
The coffee is delicious, there are always promotions in the morning, the wifi is also fast, the only downside is the parking
The place is comfortable, quiet, and the Wi-Fi is fast. Parking is a bit difficult.
