Cafe Fiol

The coffee tasted very very good and the two men were also very friendly. Coffee was also “cheap” in contrast to other coffee shops in this area. Another plus point was that you order the coffee/food yourself but you don’t have to wait for it to be ready, because one of the people working here will bring the coffee to your table :)

Rude people working there.

Edit: by behaving “improperly”-meaning that I complied when first informed of the rules, but the lack of clear signage made it confusing, and I genuinely thought I was sitting in an allowed computer area.

Instead of clarifying politely, the staff spoke to me in an unprofessional and confrontational manner. Treating customers this way is unacceptable, regardless of policy.

working (i.e. sitting with a laptop) is only allowed at window seats

Asked for the wifi password and was told I couldn't use my computer inside and got asked what I was consuming. Was told that I had to consume more in order to ocupy the space. Incredibly rude service. Me and my friend left immediately after this, I regret not asking for a refund.

Edit: seems like the owner keeps gaslighting people in the reviews, both me and my friend had ordered food.

The owner was incredibly rude: when we asked for the wifi password we were interrogated on how much we had consumed, and after explaining the purchase the owner argued it wasn’t enough for two so he did not share the password.
Additionally, we weren’t allowed to use laptops in order not to take space for costumers, even though the place was not busy and we sat in the tiniest table.
Overall very rude service.

Edit: we never said we had no money and we did buy food at this cafe, despite the owner’s reply to this review.

My friend has much money and works in the food tech industry ( cha-Ching $$). Yet, the owner told her she has no money. She bought food but the owner denied that it was enough to get the wifi password. Why are they so stingy on wifi, it is the 21st century. Will not be returning

Edit: Owner not happy with how I formulate myself. I think he’s calling me dumb? Little confused about the ‘homework cafe’ comment because when we entered he said “Welcome to the homework cafe, where you can stay all day and the wifi is free!”. Anyway, cookie was pretty good.

Very quaint little café in central Copenhagen, it’s nice place to enjoy a coffee and relax, or you can bring your laptop and get some work done. wifi is quick and stable. Coffee and sandwiches are great, and compared to other prices at that location not incredibly expensive.

Fik en rigtig lækker sandwich/bolle med kylling og en smoothie. Søde mennesker bag disken, god service, gratis wifi. Rigtig god oplevelse. Kommer helt sikkert igen en anden gang :)

laptop users need to sit at the long wood table when many customers are comming. This is what I was told from the owner when I ordered coffee. I totally get it.
But the way he ordered laptop users to move to the table later, it was definitely RUDE. There are even not enough seats so I just left. Moreover coffee... seriously?
