Cafe Kafka

I was recommended to work from this nice coffee place but unfortunately I wasn’t able to work here and thus stay for lunch because they have insecure wifi connection (free wifi without a password) and for some people it’s a problem, for example my Mac wouldn’t even show my emails because of insecurity and I also couldn’t do my regular work tasks. So, I had to look for another place to work and eat. I’m sure the place is great but it didn’t meet my interests so far.

Mbps with 408 ms latency (Dec 28, 2023). It is impossible to use the cafe’s internet.

Kafe Kafka, it cant be better, poetic and modern, hip people working on laptop or lookimg dreamy.

Excellent quality, suitable for working and studying

Great café for casual eating. The pastas are tasty, the service is quick, and there is plenty of seating space. The wifi is open, somewhat fast, and reliable. Dog-friendly.

Nice and comfy café with free wifi to work and study.

First off - dogs are allowed in and that's great! Second the lemonade was outstanding, I recommend the passion fruit! And the breakfast portions are well priced and sizeable! A great stop to start your day. (Also, English menus & fast wifi were available!)

Lovely restaurant with games, books, and amazing breakfasts- great spot for gathering with family and friends but not an ideal location for remote work.

Due to its location (close to the university) and word on the street, I had the assumption this cafe would be a great spot to bring my laptop and do some work. However, I found the cafe to only have seating for groups (no individual seats aside from a standing-only bar area) and that most people were there to chat and hang out with friends and family. There were only 4 baked goods available- the highlights here seem to be the assortment of colorful alcohols and breathtaking breakfast trays- I really wish I ordered pancakes instead of the peanut toffee cake, as it wasn't nearly as good as it looked. The hot chocolate unfortauntely tasted like a store bought powder mix, and this is the first time in my life I had it served with raisins. I sat outside in the lovely sunshine, and there is a beautiful view of the park! However, feathery friends are a bit too friendly and will steal your food if you turn away for even a second. It was a lot of fun watching them, and eventually I gave up protecting my dessert to try to focus on some work.

All in all, I would love to come back for a tasty meal with friends but I won't plan to do any more remote work here!

Good place to bring your laptop or book and get some work/reading done while having some coffee and a snack.

A bit pricey compared to other food in the area, but smoothie and dessert was great. A good spot to get a few hours of work done, with free wifi and both soft and hard chairs.

Really good coffeeshop, with really nice people working on it. The cakes are extraordinary, and hot sandwiches are really awesome. Furthermore, you have games to play there if you want! Really recommendable place

Nice cafe and service
Unfortunately, the place has no wifi.

This cafe has a warm, cozy atmosphere that makes it a lovely spot to relax. We stopped in to catch up on some urgent work that came up during our travels, but unfortunately, there's no Wi-Fi available, and my travel SIM didn’t support hotspotting. That said, most tables are laptop-friendly, so it’s still a good option for offline work—just not ideal if you need an internet connection.

Despite that, we’re still giving it 5 stars because the coffee was excellent, the cakes were delicious, and the staff were kind and attentive. And if anything, it forced us to actually take a break. It's definitely a place we'd return to with friends to chat or some focused, screen-free time.

Really delicious food with substantial portions. Trendy and cosy environment with a number of students working inside. There is an English menu and staff speak english which is very helpful. About a 5minute walk from the 'Royal Walk' if you're following that route

I ordered the penne with chicken via Bolt, than got the call from the restaurant saying that they’re out of chicken and will replace it with salmon, I specifically asked if all the other ingredients are gonna be the same, the girl on the phone confirmed that yes. However, they did not just replace chicken with salmon, they sent me their salmon dish, where other ingredients include blue cheese to which I’m ALLERGIC TO. I didn’t know so I started eating it, as I specifically asked if other ingredients are gonna be the same, because there is no blue cheese in the regular chicken dish.
I had to take emergency allergy pills.
I called them immediately when I realized something is wrong, but the girl on the phone didn’t even apologize or anything, so I’m writing a review now as today it’s late already, but I will be moving this farther and coming to talk to a manager to make sure such incompetence would not go unnoticed, this could have been life-threatening and this girl or whoever was responsible should not be working there.
