The chilaquiles were amazing as was the coffee. The service provided by Jaime was what made this an amazing dining experience. The care he took to explain the dishes, the ingredients, and the preparation made me feel like I was in a Michelin starred restaurant. He was amazing. If you eat here, and you should, ask if Jaime is working.
It's a very nice place in a good area, however, both the coffee and the chai seemed very basic to me. They don't have any milk other than cow's milk. The menu is extensive and does have vegetarian options. The tables in the front outdoor area are closed. They have restrooms and advertise Wi-Fi, but it doesn't work 😕
We bought a hamburger and it was quite tasty. They also let us bring our dogs in, which we loved because not all places allow dogs for that reason. The only thing we were a little disappointed about was that they close at midnight. We went there because my husband gets off work at the same time (he works from home), but 10 minutes before closing time, they were asking us to leave. We had to wait with our laptops to finish our shift. I tried to explain to the guy, but he just left me talking to myself. Anyway, I would go back because the food was delicious.
One of my favorite breakfast spots in Chapultepec: delicious food, reasonable prices, a variety of chilaquiles, fresh juice, and homemade buns for the burgers.
The place is pleasant, with brick walls, plants, and relaxed furniture. It has a laid-back and inclusive atmosphere; it's common to see families with children next to a gay couple or a hipster engrossed in their laptop. And they accept pets! (only at the tables facing the street).
To be honest, I only went to have a cappuccino, and I was on my laptop doing some things. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was quiet and comfortable whether you go alone or with someone to chat.
Very friendly, clean, and good service, but they have slow wifi.
Definitely try the Arrachera a la carta... They accept Mastercard/Visa and there's free Wi-Fi.
