Absolutely one of the best place to have breakfast or brunch, Cafe Soma has this warm and welcoming atmosphere where you can also spend your time working on your laptop along with their scrumptious food.
And clearly don't miss out their seasonal fresh juice and brownies.
P.S. If you are wondering about the price it is expensive but also you definitely can’t expect less for the food they serve and the location they are in.

Best iced coffee I’ve had in Kathmandu so far! Also really good food, and a good atmosphere both for relaxing and working on the computer. Inside and outside spaces.

Loved the ambience and selection of food and drinks. My friends raved about their sandwiches and brunch items. I had their Lemon Tea with honey and some desserts: Double Chocolate Cake and Red Velvet Cake. The cakes were not bad - maybe a little dry but we're good regardless. Service was on point and they were super friendly.

I know it's a good spot for working and saw lots of laptops out. Seems like a good spot for jamming on the keyboard.

The place looked good but the drinks were a big disappointment. The peach iced tea tasted very funny and the strawberry in the smoothie tasted like it had gone bad. Also, the ac was not working and it was very hot. You guys can do better.

Good selection of food and it was good. Free wifi, clean, spacious and friendly staff. nice place to hangout with friends, family or study and they also had books if you're bored while waiting for food. Overall great spot. Only one problem is the location, its little off the main street, its easier if you have a transport or take a cab.

Our group of 8 had breakfast with coffee in the relaxing, clean, bookstore, coffee shop atmosphere. Every item we ordered was excellent! Eggs Benedict, French toast, fruit bowl, avocado toast, pancakes, bacon, cuppichino, espresso, latte.
wifi was strong, seats were comfortable and employees were helpful and friendly. Prices were reasonable for a business catering to foriegn travelers or Napali's wanted a taste of western

Living in this area for 4 years, Cafe Soma was the go-to spot. Free wifi, good coffee and food selections for breakfast and lunch. As others have mentioned, their thick shake is a must, maybe the best milkshake in Kathmandu.
I always felt their breakfast portions were fair for the price and the food was always quality.
Besides this, their pastries/sweets were always fantastic as well. Always sporting moist cookies and brownies, which were always hard to come by in KTM.
Can’t recommend enough if you need a spot to relax and catch up with loved ones or on emails.
