This is one of the prettiest restaurants I've ever come across in Delhi and elsewhere. This place specializes in some mouthwatering coastal dishes.

Alena Pelotte03.11.2026

First of all the interior is beautiful and so is the atmosphere.
Staff is friendly, quick and attentive and does a great job so I didn't mind the servicecharge.

For the food: these curries are soooo creamy and delicious! The Appam and Paratha is fresh and fluffy. All in all 10/10.
Had the tiramisu cake for dessert and while it wasn't bad I would say it contains too much of the liquor and was slightly frozen. So definitely nothing for kids. If the ratio and temperature could be adjusted it would be another hit on the menu.

I'll make sure to come back and try more of these beautiful curries for sure.

Kartik Sharma03.11.2026

A hidden gem in Hauz Khas! The interiors are beautifully designed with a warm, elegant vibe that makes the place feel calm and welcoming. One of the best things is the peaceful atmosphere—no loud music or unnecessary noise, just a smooth and relaxing ambience that's perfect for conversations or simply unwinding.

The food was easily 10/10. Every dish was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The quality and taste truly stood out, making the entire dining experience worth it.

Loved the menu theme too—it was such a cool touch and added to the overall experience!

Anushka Gupta03.11.2026

The beer battered veggie tacos were really chewy the tortilla was very hard to chew and the sour cream served along was plain dahi, the only thing saving them was the chilli salsa which had no chilli. The Malabari Kokum Mixed Veggie Curry, was somehow better than the tacos but the chutneys served along with them don’t make any sense, the parottas were perfection perfectly flaky, thin crispy layers meanwhile not at all chewy. The mixed veggie curry tasted good but there weren’t decent portion of veggies in it we just had to eat our parottas with the plain curry eventually. The food wasn’t something that you would come back for it was a very average forgettable experience.

Chan Prakash03.11.2026

The coast cafe serves kerala cuisine in a clean, elegant atmosphere. The service is quick and good. The taste was pretty authentic. We ordered aubergine curry, Malabar parathas and appams. We really liked all of them.

Had a pretty enjoyable experience and would recommend for kerala food.

Manish Gayan03.11.2026

After a series of misses, I finally decided to visit this place for a quick lunch before my flight.

The restaurant is spread over two floors and is clean and spacious. I particularly liked the minimalist approach to keeping the place.

Moving on to the food, Kerala Cuisine is one of my favorites, and they didn’t disappoint. I highly recommend the following dishes:

1. Pepper Mutton Fry
2. Malabar Fish Curry
3. Toffee Date Pudding

The dessert was especially dreamy and left me craving more, but I didn’t want to catch my flight with a heavy stomach.

Vidushi Kaushik03.11.2026

Unfortunately, the coffee did not meet expectations. The flavor was quite underwhelming and lacked the quality one would expect at this price point. Considering the cost, the overall experience did not feel like good value for money. While the service and ambiance may appeal to some customers, there is definitely room for improvement in the quality of the coffee itself.

Rishik Suri03.11.2026

Service was lovely, but unfortunately that is the only good thing about the place -- the food is unimaginative which I thought was its worst sin until the next day my entire friend group that went there fell sick. All that for an incredibly mid meal that was very heavy on the wallet compared with other coastal place in town. Go to Rumi's Rasoee if you'd like authentic Malayalee food that tastes fresh and is affordable.

Akriti yadav03.11.2026

I really loved this cafe ! It's minimal and comfy . The ambience gives a soothing vibe to relax and chill.
Their south indian food is too good , they have limited items in their menu but they're worth trying!
The service is also good overall a nice place to visit.
It's located in front of HKV parking.

Abhishek Deep03.11.2026

I visited this place after hearing a lot of positive buzz, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered pepper chicken curry, Malabar paratha, and appam. The pepper chicken curry was particularly bad—it tasted like either the gravy or the chicken was stale. Soon after, I ended up with a severe stomach infection, which made the whole experience even worse.

The service didn’t help either. It was quite poor, and the staff didn’t even have basic drinking water available, which is surprising for any restaurant.

Overall, this visit was a complete letdown. I’d strongly suggest being cautious while trying food here—maybe even carry some Pudin Hara just in case.

Kim Shim03.11.2026

The cafe's location is undeniably fantastic, yet its atmosphere seems a bit unclear – Iam not sure if it aims for a laid-back, boho, or overly cool vibe or pretentious. The servers appear somewhat disoriented. While the location is excellent, the overall warmth, welcome, and food quality, I am really not sure what and why the hype was about.

Kartik Kumbhat03.11.2026

Cafe is aesthetic however food is subpar. Their serving size is small compared to the price they are charging and it's not worth it. Funny enough, in order to make it a visually large serving, they rolled a big ball of tissue inside their serving bowl and poured the food on top of it to mislead their customers. Would not recommend.

Jinal Dedia03.11.2026

We had a lunch at the coast cafe and thoroughly enjoyed it. Peaceful ambience, good food, polite staff and worth a try. Cuisine is fresh and dishes are from the coastal state of Kerala.

Pratul Agarwal03.11.2026

This place is perfect to satisfy all your seafood cravings. As soon as you enter the cafe, the smell of fish and prawns transports you to the coasts of Kerala. It looks amazing in natural light, especially with all its greenery. I had their prawn moilee, and it almost brought me to tears. It paired very well with their perfectly made parotta. I also got the chicken pepper fry, but it was pretty disappointing. The chicken was really dry, so much so that I couldn’t even finish it. It’s the only reason i have docked a star from the rating. I will definitely be visiting them again.

Bobby Roy03.11.2026

What a wonderful hidden gem of a place Coast Cafe turned out to be! We went there and were pleasantly surprised to find a wonderful ambience and some authentic coastal food. We ordered the chicken tacos and fish fry and absolutely loved both the dishes.

Of special mention are the tacos which were wonderful! A definitive must-visit place hidden in the HKV area of Delhi. Too good. ❤️👌

Saloni Jain03.11.2026

The place had a good ambience but the food didn't justify the price we pay for.
We had a burger, pasta, watermelon smoothie, and cheesecake. Everything had an okay taste but the cheesecake still makes my mouth water.
All in all, the place is too expensive for pay for moderate taste food.

Barun Ghosh03.11.2026

Situated on the 2nd & 3 rd floor of a building right upon entering the Hauz Khas Village, this restaurant is accessible by its own dedicated elevator.
Design is very basic more Mediterranean than Malabar to me.
Staff was very helpful and recommended some of the dishes. Couldn't get alcohol as their alcohol license has expired or so they say.
Food was good but the Mediterranean cutlery also dampened my spirits.
They had sneakily added in the Service charge so I didn't bother paying a tip.
Not worth going there just for the food, if you're in the area then this is a nice and less crowded place otherwise plenty of better options nearby.

Jhimli Dhar03.11.2026

Authentic Kerala cuisine, beautiful ambience…service was great, Rahul took special care of us, such a soft spoken guy…. Food was downright fab…we had ordered a chicken stew and kerala fish curry with egg white Appam and Malabar paratha, in addition we had this orange and basil cooler, loved it….. place to go to while in Hauz khas

Rajesh Chiranewala03.11.2026

Malabar fish curry was awesome! Malabari parotha tasted like a joke version of lachedar😕Appam was decent. Service fast, food hot, rest room clean. Would recommend for the curry anytime.

Uthranarayan C03.11.2026

What you’ll like:
+ Authentic Kerala cuisine
+ Romantic environment - tables were lit with candles
+ Good food with amazing service
What you won’t like:
- Restaurant is in the third floor. Use the elevator.
- Some people will find the restaurant too dark

Anusha Banerjee03.11.2026

Coast Cafe is a gem in the heart of Hauz Khas. The restaurant serves Kerala cuisine, and the ambience is beautiful- the lighting, the furniture, they're all absolutely gorgeous! The menu features a wide variety of dishes, from traditional Kerala staples like fish curry and appam to more modern fusion creations. We had fried calamari and beer batter fish tacos. Really enjoyed the food!!

The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. In fact, I'd like to specially mention the wonderful gesture of the staff- I spilled my drink by accident, and they were very kind to replace it with another. Big thanks to Coast Cafe for this! You won our hearts :)

All in all, Coast Cafe was wonderful. And we're definitely going back again!

Praagyya_03.11.2026

Amazing and soothing ambiance. The seating arrangements are for a small groups. Excellent place for work discussions and to work in peace. Also great place for hangout with friends, families and close ones. The staff and their services are amazing, they are polite and cooperative.
Do try their delicious and mouth watering Mint lemonade, tacos and pasta.

Ghanapriya Yengkhom03.11.2026

A nice and quiet place if you want to enjoy good food.
A separate balcony for smoking area.
Crowd is pretty decent, mostly international tourist love this place.
There are two floors for seating area, and there is enough space.
Food is pretty nice, but a bit expensive.
A nice place to hang out and chill after/before visiting Deer Park and Hauz Khas village.

Simran Kohli03.11.2026

We went to Coast Cafe for an early dinner on a Sunday evening, and it was truly a vibe. Beautiful interiors, great lighting, heavy cutlery, cloth napkins. The first floor is a cafe; dining is on the second floor. We ordered the mushroom and Avial side dishes, the vegetable stew and Malabar fish curry for mains, two portions of rice, and a Malabar porotta. This volume of food was just enough for three people; the portion sizes aren’t small, but they aren’t huge either. The vegetable stew was a little under seasoned and on the sweeter side, but everything else was perfection. The fish curry was cozy and coconuty; perfect comfort food when paired with the rice. The porotta was buttery and flakey and went great with the stew and the Avial. The mushrooms were substantial and very meaty. If you’re a fan of Malabar coastal cuisine, I’d highly recommend this restaurant.

Frahim Adajania03.11.2026

One the best places to get authentic Kerala cuisine. The prawn moilee curry with appam was the best. The gravy was perfectly spiced, rich and had a good amount of prawns.

Ayushi Priya03.11.2026

Such a cute cafe had the best day here and the staffs and everyone is soo polite kind and quite that it makes the place a better option to hang out in peace rather than in cloud cluster, the food was crazy good and the ambience too, very cutely decorated

Vasudha Gupta03.11.2026

This is the only decent place to go in Hauz Khas. It is a small cafe spread over two floors above Ogaan. It has pleasant and calm vibes.

I went with my husband and it had been on our list for a very long time. We were very happy with the food. We started with the second quinoa salad. It was a simple salad with no dressing as such. There could have been more brocolli though. We ordered the veg stew with appam and Malabar parantha. The stew and parantha were too good. Appam could have been better. The Malabar parantha was perfect - thin and flaky.

The buckwheat Nutella pancake was the silver lining with the perfect amount of Nutella topped with a lot of hazelnuts.

We absolutely loved our dinner at Coast Cafe.

Sujith Sagar Patchipulusu03.11.2026

Calm and soothing ambience. You don’t feel like you are in the busy and bustling Hauz Khas Village when you are in this cafe. Good food! Good presentation, decent and friendly staff. Decent crowd. Serve size is a bit small.

Harshdeep singh03.11.2026

It’s by far the most perfect restaurant I have ever visited in recent times. They ambiance and layout of the place is amazing, it is romantic, soothing and calming. They music is good and not loud. The food is authentic and delicious, and absolute value for money. Ultimately the service is fantastic, they servers are polite and very professional, they know their job pretty well. Very highly recommended for date nights, as the setup is very cosy and romantic.

Mayan M03.11.2026

The place is pretty cool. The spiral stairs though were probably because of the lack of space but end up being part of an interesting experience. The food is good, wouldn't recommend highly to a vegan or a Vegetarian, more non-veg options themed on the coast and a kerela vibe in terms of food. Decor was pretty cool and ambience was nice.

Nazeel Shafeeque03.11.2026

One of the few fine dining places for proper Kerala cuisine. This place has a very limited menu, but they have tried to offer almost very close to what we get from home.

Tried their prawns moilee, was top notch. Quality of ingredients and texture was excellent. Recommend this to all!! (Reminded me of the mango curry)

Tried their garam mutton curry, was an average dish. They didn’t use good quality mutton, so the whole flavour of mutton was missing. It was just okeyish.

Chicken pepper roast was the other dish i tried, this was also an ordinary dish, didn’t have any wow factor or taste was just average. The pepper flavour was also missing a bit.

The appam and porotta was good. Tried the egg white appam(never recommend to the Kerala taste) also drinks were below average for me.

The ambience and service is commendable. And there is paid parking lot in a walking distance

PRASHANT CHANDRA03.11.2026

Coast Cafe was a discovery that happened by chance as a friend of mine and I found another restaurant closed. This first time experience was superb with a brilliantly flavourful Malabari stew along with Appam and Pepper fry chicken as well as refreshing Lemon Iced Tea.
After a sumptous and extremely satisfying luncheon we decided to try out the smoky tea which was like a single malt and different....definitely goimg to go back to try out their other dishes which includes a range of Coastal Seafood selection...

Daniel Gamboa03.11.2026

Another gem of a restaurant that serves delicious South Indian food. I want to try all their dishes. Besides its pleasent ambience, the service is great!

Jay Pandey03.11.2026

Please pay your waiters fairly so that they don't respond rudely when asked to remove service charge. The bulky waiter is the one I am talking about. The others were fine.

Food was great. Malabar parotta and moilee.

saurabh sharma03.11.2026

Nice nice little cafe where I enjoyed some delectable cuisine from the state of Kerela.
The beans toran, the red rice, the aapamas, the coast cafe vegetable moilee, superpowers pink ginger lemonade were all well prepared. A must try.....

The service was efficient and yes the staff was professional. But nearly all of the young men had a glum disposition and dead pan countenance. Service with a smile would be hugely appreciated.

Will be going back for the laid back feel of the cafe and its lovely cuisine and hopefully the staff will be more welcoming and friendly.

Best wishes

Abhishek Dwivedi03.11.2026

Coast Cafe in Hauz Khas Village has a fine fine look/feel, they offer Candle Lights on each table which makes this place a perfect one for a romantic dinner night. They have ample options for Sea Food. Coast has an exclusive Balcony Area for a smokeup which is well lit with lights. We ordered some Mexican Tacos & they were good. Highly recommended, but in the evening!

Purnima Gupta03.11.2026

We decided to go to this place for lunch and tried the egg kuttu paratha, fried veggies tacos, coast cafe vegetable moilee, Malabar paratha, appam, quinoa and beet burger and churros. Everything was really good and fresh.

Era Sakhuja03.11.2026

Coast Café is an absolutely amazing place! The ambiance is lovely and creates the perfect setting for a relaxing meal. The staff is friendly, attentive, and the service is excellent. We ordered the Penne Pasta Arrabbiata, Mustard Tossed Fries, and Grilled Veggies Tacos, and every dish was bursting with flavour. If you’re looking for a spot with great food, great service, and an inviting atmosphere, Coast Café is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

shriya manaktala03.11.2026

Hands down, one of my favourite places in Delhi to go. I've not had such rich flavours anywhere else. If you're a fan of coastal cuisine, please make it a point to visit Coast Cafe atleast once.

For my vegetarian fellows, you can try the Malabari kokum curry with Appam or Aubergine kokum curry with Parotta. My personal favourite are the grilled veggie tacos. They're simple yet full of flavour.

Sakshi Singla03.11.2026

As it is famous for customised kerela food, sea food and curries One must try stew with Appams (best served). Drinks were also satisfied (must try ice tea). Coffee was little watery so take it at your own risk. 😅
It also has nice ambience for healthy conversation with light music.

It is located below imperfecto. You can use elevator for that.

Viva Waratah03.11.2026

Great plant based cafes in the stylish Haus Khauz Village. Delicious food, great ambience, good music. Service can be improved though. Our waiters were not welcoming at all.

trvst_0103.11.2026

Great ambiance and friendly staff. The food is probably good too. The cocktails are definitely horrible. Moscow Mule tasted like sprite. Don't go here for a drink.

Vitthal Kumar03.11.2026

Loved the ambience and food. The staff was also very polite.
Overall it was a nice experience.

Sapan Diwakar03.11.2026

At the entrance of Hauz Khas, you will encounter this cozy cafe. Great ambiance, overlooking greenery on one side. I had a few mock-tails and they were great.

Rohin Marker03.11.2026

Excellent food though limited menu. All the food we ordered was super. Prawn moiley , chicken in pepper fry and tacos.
A special mention for the phenomenal chorizo and hazelnut pancakes.

Jigar Budhdev03.11.2026

Nothing to write home about. The food was ordinary and not tasting authentic at all though it is very visually appealing. It was very much on the sweeter side. Apart from that, the ambience is basic and business-like. They do not serve alcohol though it is there in their menu since they don't have a licence. The service is also very ordinary. The place gets very noisy as no sound dampening materials have been used. The ambient noise reflects from the windows and floor. The pricing is on the higher side. The place is inaccessible by car or public transport. One has to park about 500 meters away in a private parking spot which fleeces you. ₹100 is the minimum parking rate. One has to walk down from the lot into HKV then.

Vishvas Sharma03.11.2026

sitting space is Limited with very few food options, cafe charges you heavily even for water bottle more double than mrp without being served in glasses. Overall service is not good.

Ayush Bhadoria03.11.2026

Brother, the price was ₹200 plus ₹20 service charge just for a 30 mL cup of water with a bit of coffee. After drinking it, I felt nauseous and even vomited. Please, if possible, issue a refund. I genuinely feel bad about spending my savings on something like this—it felt like such a waste of both money and time.

Other services were good, but the main thing—the coffee—was extremely disappointing. Honestly, I should’ve gone to Starbucks instead. I would’ve happily paid ₹1000 for a ₹200 coffee there, at least it’s drinkable. Here, neither the quantity nor the quality was acceptable.

That’s the difference—Starbucks is Starbucks for a reason. I couldn’t even finish the coffee, ended up spilling in a plant. It was that bad. Please refund me if possible.

In short-

🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Diksha03.11.2026

Perfect place to catch up with old friends we got ice tea and shaken cold coffee both tastes amazing. Ambience and atmosphere were perfect

MEENAKSHI BISHT03.11.2026

The vibe of this place is so good! The staff were courteous.Though their menu is a bit limited but whatever they offer is delicious and of supreme quality. Tried Kokum Curry with Malabar Porotta ❤️
A perfect place to relax with amazing food!
Will definitely visit soon! 😊
