No wonder this place got many low ratings. Seeing that it was spacious and quiet with plenty of sockets and empty seats, I decided to get some work done there with my laptop, as I’m tired of staying at home.

They suddenly played some fast beat music and turned up the volume to chase away their customer, the only customer at the time. So passive aggressive. They should have come and asked me to leave directly. There were plenty of empty seats anyway. They can’t even tolerate the presence of one customer. It’s not like I would camp there indefinitely. Didn’t I pay you?

The food was terrible. They charged almost 400 for a bowl of unbearably salty instant noodles. I couldn’t eat it, so I poured a cup of water into it, but it was still unbearably salty. Did they do this deliberately?

Absolutely do not recommend it to anyone.

REPLY TO THE OWNER:

Given your highly defensive attitude, it’s no wonder so few guests come to your place and many leave negative reviews. As I said, I was practically the only customer there for almost the entire afternoon. The noisy music wasn’t playing the whole time, but during the middle of my stay the volume was turned up to the maximum. It also wasn’t soft background music. It was fast beat, highly distracting music.

If you were really as considerate as you claim to be, you could have played softer music instead, which I would’ve appreciated. This is basic common sense and customer etiquette that I shouldn’t have to remind you of. And why would I bother saying anything further when the atmosphere had already become passive aggressive and unwelcoming? It’s not like you’re the only coffee shop in town.

There was no need to chase customers away like this. You could have simply come over and politely reminded me that it was time to leave, or honestly expressed that, despite having plenty of empty seats, you don’t like customers staying too long with their laptops. Or simply put up a sign saying so. Your place, your rules. No reasonable person would have a problem with that.

As for the food, your reply is funny too. Like I said, I poured an entire glass of water into the noodles, practically turning your dry version into soup noodles, and it was still unbearably salty. You saw that I returned the bowl barely touched because no normal person could tolerate that level of salt. Are you implying I can’t tell when something is overly salty? You make it sound like I’ve never had Korean food before. Please don’t damage the reputation of Korean cuisine with excuses and terrible instant noodles.

You seem to have plenty of time and energy to argue with a customer who reasonably pointed out problems. Why not spend that energy improving instead? Or simply because you don’t want to? Again, I absolutely don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Loved the coffee and peaceful environment. One of the best cafés at lakeside for hanging out with friends or working.

From the moment I stepped in, this café felt like a cozy hug — warm lighting, the comforting smell of freshly brewed coffee, and soft music playing in the background. The staff were genuinely kind. The best of the bunch is the vibe. It’s the kind of place you could spend hours in — reading, catching up with a friend, or just working remotely. I’ll absolutely be back for more.

The place is very nice and have good ambiance. Plus the wifi speed is very fast. Their coffee is good. But I don't recommend their cakes.
