Dark Matter Coffee - Star Lounge Coffee Bar

Couldn’t get wifi upstairs, guy at register was not friendly and gave me the wrong empanadas. Overall vibe is cute the music is really loud so not a great place to do computer work or read a book

I love this place! I'm not a regular because the wifi is horrible! I can't access half of my favorite websites because of some weird limitation they have on their router. I've asked them to try to fix it but it seems to just not be a priority. This includes kindle, reddit, twitter, and stuff related to my job. Please fix your wifi so I can hang out here more! It's more of a cafe to socialize then to go and do work. Bummer.

Beautiful space with nice staff and great drinks, but minus 2 stars for the horrible and unreliable internet. The first time I went it took 10-15 minutes to connect to wifi, and upon my second visit, I was completely unable to connect to their internet.

The coffee and vibes are good, but the wifi blocks tons of sites, which is very frustrating. Came wanting to get a few things done, but I was unable to connect to any of the websites I needed :-/

I want to buy your expensive coffee and snacks, but you have to let me sit down.

Quirky, quitchy and cool... everything a Coffee Lounge should be. Dark Matter Coffee hits the spot with the various fresh brewed and breakfast items. wifi is spot on, great place to lounge, work and converse. The outdoor patio is the place to soak in the sun and get your caffeine fix. Did I mention the staff is outrageously awesome!!!???

The coffee is not that strong, but I guess it’s their signature. I ordered a large mocha, overall taste is good. The shop has a good vibe, decoration, and stunning art painting. A lot of outdoor and indoor seats. Not sure if they have free wifi.

Groovy establishment with funky and wild vibes, large space and good for laptops and work. Lovely staff.

Dark Matter Coffee makes great coffee but for some reason this lounge really does not live up to its name. I’ve had way too many awkward experiences here including two of the employees getting into verbal arguments and swearing in front of children. I don’t know how you can have a coffee lounge with no internet even though there are 3 Wi-Fi’s dedicated to your location and none of them work. When I asked if they would restart the Wi-Fi they said no our internet just doesn’t work well. There was only 3 people in the lounge and 5 people working. They were not busy and could care less about my request to work from their lounge. If you’re looking to come here to work and need to connect to the internet your going to be out of luck.

Great place to sit and work. Bring some ANC buds/headphones as sometimes the music can be a bit loud.

Warning about the Wi-Fi in that a large number of sites are blocked. You can't access a majority of news sites, Twitter, discord, and a lot more, however you can access instagram, reddit, youtube, and the GSuite. It's very random, so if you need anything that you may think you'll have a hard time getting, grab it locally. Or use a hotspot.

House coffee is decent. On the darker side, fairly bitter, awesome when fresh.

I love stopping in at this coffee shop on the way to work! Nice atmosphere, friendly employees, and very creative items for sale. Highly recommended place in West Town

Nice little coffee shop, no complaints about the drink or the atmosphere. I stayed for a while and did some work, looked like there were some writers and other creatives working from here as well.
