Doppio Espresso ☕

I went to this place in the morning, because I wanted to get a matcha, but the place I originally wanted to go had the wrong opening times listed on google maps.
The man who was working there was very kind and I really liked the atmosphere of the place. I had no idea it existed, so will definitely come back here.

When I do come back though, I definitely will not be getting a matcha, and I don’t recommend anyone else gets one either.
The fact that my matcha (iced strawberry matcha latte for €5,60) was done within a minute, was the first red flag. The second one was the fact that the matcha barely looked green; more a yellowish soft green. And the final red flag was that the drink tasted simply like strawberry milk. The strawberry milk was nice, but I wanted a matcha, and it did not taste like that even a little.

I’m sure their coffee is better, and the pastries looked really nice, but the matcha is a hard pass. Lovely place besides all that.

Great service and very good coffee. I was there several times, but remember one story when I was with my friends, and was already quite late. We forgot that they were closing or already closed, and suddenly we hear vacuum cleaner noise in background. It turned out that it was so late, nobody was in Cafee, so I asked staff whether it's not a problem being sorry at the same time we are so late. The response was that is not a problem and we can stay and enjoy while they are cleaning. I don't speak dutch yet, at least not in a way to have regular comfortable conversation, however was doing my best, and was also appreciated. I really do recommend this place, especially because of so friendly staff working there. The entrance is from both sides, so very convenient. Nearby is underground bicycle parking. Would you ask for more? :-)

Best place to work with your laptop in Nijmegen. Wi-Fi works great and there are power plugs. A large selection of teas!

A very unfriendly experience. Upon entering, the employee didn't look up or around from his laptop. He was sitting right at the front of the shop by the door, mind you, so he could have seen and greeted me immediately. However, there was absolutely no welcoming atmosphere or warm reception. Because I really needed to go, I walked towards the toilet. After this, I was addressed curtly and told that this was not allowed. The employee said: "It says so on the door," to which I replied: "Oh sorry, I didn't see that." Only when I indicated that I wanted to buy a cappuccino was it suddenly allowed. I ended up buying the cappuccino for my toilet visit, but by then the atmosphere was already completely ruined by the employee's grumpy attitude. Unfortunately, there is not a shred of hospitality to be found here.
