Early Bird Coffee

Delightful coffee shop in the Heubner Oaks shopping center. The coffee was awesome, great latte art, and service was great.
Inside and outside areas, wifi is given all through the shop, and lots of parking.
Very pretty and a good place to work out of. Really cute, and we can't wait to go back!!

UPDATE: I have to give the owner of this place some respect for their level of service and reaching out right away. As a Sam Antonio local, my girlfriend and I will be coming back to support them.

This is a super nice place to hang out or for an informal business meeting. Nice patio area. There are plenty of electrical outlets for your computer if you are a student or have the luxury of remote work. It is nice to know a place loke this exists so near me because it is a struggle to find good places to do work on the computer in town or study. Pastries looked really good. Black drip coffee was decent. By reading other reviews and responses, it seems the place local and takes customer service seriously, which I respect. This business deserves local support and the struggle against corporate coffee.

A cozy, quiet coffee place with some of the best pastries I’ve tasted. I love the atmosphere it presents, and it’s a wonderfully place to do some work. I swear it’s the perfect place to be productive.

Best coffee shop in town! Family owned, friendly service, amazing coffee and pastry options - my favorite being the horchata iced latte and everything bagel danish. Oh I love the Apple Pistachio Danish! It’s so good! Coffee is good too! I like the ambiance, but would appreciate more places to plug my laptop in. Friendly staff, would come back if I wasn’t moving.

I'm a coffee shop connoisseur and have been to many in different cities and states. Rarely do I come across one that knocks the ball out of the park at every level. Early Bird Coffee is one of those coffee shops.

It's physically beautiful, bright and comfortable with lots of windows/natural light. There's a lovely patio/courtyard area and even the bathrooms are nicely decorated, as well as being clean & private. In addition, Early Bird Coffee will not freeze you out like other places and it's nice and warm on a crisp cold morning. There are also plenty of outlets along the window space and the wifi is dependable. It's great for conversing with friends or working on your laptop.

The owners and staff provide excellent and genuine customer service. And they provide extras that just make me feel appreciated like free bottled water and fresh cut flowers on the table.

Lastly, and for many people, most important, is the coffee. It's delicious and well-made. They know how to brew coffee and a lot of things like their horchata milk are made fresh in-house. Even their pastries are quite good.

Even though it seems hidden in an upscale shopping area, plenty of people come through who appear to be very happy customers. This includes pooches.
