Eightfold is by far the best coffee shop in the city! Their drinks are always on point, they sell delicious bagels & toasts, and a variety of coffee beans & at home brewing equipment.
I appreciate that it’s one of the few shops that does NOT up-charge for alt milks. The baristas here are the kindest, no-bullshit, realest people. They always make my day! There’s also free wifi, free street parking after 9AM, and plenty of seating.
Pro tip: Park up on Kensington and take the stairs down to Sunset for additional parking options and a cute little walk.

Great coffee shop for studying, working, and chatting with friends. I like their hojicha latte and chai latte. You can’t go wrong with their pastries!! By far, my favorites are spinach one and mushroom one.

I went here like 2 years ago and haven’t been back since sadly but I still think about this place like every month the lasts who was working the counter looked really cool and was so sweet I rember she suggested a matcha lemonade quite litterly the best one I have ever had I can’t find a better one I need to go back and get it again because of how good it was the place was calm and well lit and truly made my day

My experience was just fantastic! Everyone working was so nice, but one in particular, Laura, she made me a super tasty coffee and to top it off, wrote Go Eagles :) on my drink…as I’m a huge Eagles fan wearing the gear for today’s game! I would definitely come back for the coffee and company.

Very cool minimal interior and great place to work on laptop. Person who rung me up was a little rude.

The girl working was so rude. Will never be coming back. Was so rude during the ordering process I decided to not get anything at all.

I wanted to try their espresso but the drip was really good actually. Plenty of places to sit and we were on our laptops on the big table and they have wifi. Friendly staff though I didn't see much to eat. The neighborhood is fun as well if you want to walk around. We found parking nearby on the street but there are metered spots nearby as well. The inside is spacious with high ceilings.

I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here again (because LA traffic), but whenever I’m in Echo Park in the future, I’ll absolutely remember this place and return. Free wifi, not too hard to find parking, excellent roasts. Didn’t have a chance to try the food but I will in the future. The coffee was super affordable too always a nice plus in LA. The space is very minimal- exposed piping, bright/airy clean feel to it, thank God not at all one of those instagrammable places that puts more work into the decor than the coffee. (FINALLY). Just a quiet, soothing, large cafe.

Great Spanish latte - you get a HUGE portion for the price. Cozy ambience. I’d say the only flaws are that there aren’t enough outlets for the amount of seating and the wifi is very slow so there are other cafe options in the area if you need to get work done, but if you want just coffee and a place to hang this place is super chill.

10/10 on all levels. Fast, efficient, and kindest baristas. Constant and consistently great coffee & matcha. Best place to read/work on sunset. Fast wifi, and great avo toast and chia pudding!! Can’t miss eightfold!!

A friend told us about the M Street cafe so we decided to give it a try! We order two drinks off their menu a Large Black coffee and their Chia Tea Latte with Almond milk. I didn't really care for their Chia Tea latte as it lacked in signature chia spice flavors. The coffee was decent and they had some pretty cool Christmas flavors to add like gingerbread, sugar cookie, and maple. What we really liked about this coffee shop was their atmosphere! I cozy little place with big windows and comfy seating. Definitely a place I would come back with my laptop to get some work done!

Dana Hooshmand18.10.2026

Great coffee and good beans. Enough spots to sit and chill, even with a laptop if you want to, without feeling like you're taking up space from other customers (I sat out the back). They do have wifi.

Tyler Stewart18.10.2026

As a tea enthusiast, the Persian Black tea here is to die for, 10/10 recommend. I like the chai as well. There is wifi but the tables are weirdly short and hard to sit at, especially working on a laptop.

working in coffee shops has become a staple of the millennial generation. There are tons of places one could set up thier work place but never have I ever found one so conducive to creators.

SImply put, Eightfold coffee gives you the jolt to spark your creativity. The colors, open windows, books for sale, all amount to a workspace where creative solutuons come to you.

Ebby has way a with customers. He makes you feel like the coffee shop was built to just to serve you.

If you like Matcha try the shot pictured below.

I don't care for this place, and I've given it many tries because I live close. Their seats are way too low so forget about working on a lap top, their Wi-Fi is weak/doesn't work, and the bathroom is always filthy.

Ethan Paulson18.10.2026

Solid craft coffee spot. Minimalist interior and tables a plenty, great place to stop by and get a few things done on your laptop.

Marcus Thomson18.10.2026

I really like this place for working. Great staff. Not usually busy. Really good coffee.

Peter Menchetti18.10.2026

$28 for coffee & some food for two, wifi so bad I couldn't even run a chat.
