FIKA pržionica kave (coffee shop)

FIKA is the cutest, friendliest small Cafe in the center of Zagreb. Their coffees are excellent, the coffee beans carefully selected and roasted on-site. Their seasonal, non-alcoholic drinks are home-made, without any additives or sugar. And pastries & sandwiches are very tasty as well. But Fika's true charm lies in the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The couple who run FIKA are friendly and will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The customers are a mix of neighborhood residents, both Croatian and international expats and visitors of all ages, from students to retirees. The music is often 80s & 90s, loud enough to make you want to dance but not too loud to hear yourself or the friends/colleagues you want to have a discussion with. From spring to autumn you can just relax on the quiet, shaded terrace, work on a project on your laptop, discuss the state of the world or the last movie you saw with friends. FIKA is dog-friendly, and I mean truly friendly! Your furry pet will get water, cuddles, and maybe make new four-legged friends.

Ben laatste tijd koffietentjes in Zagreb aan het testen. Ik ga naar een koffietent toe en ga daar wat werken. Werd vriendelijk geholpen door de eigenaar die een leuk praatje kwam maken. Koffie is heel goed hier, waarschijnlijk omdat ze hem zelf roasten. Samengevat kan ik het hier iedereen aanraden ook voor mensen die moeten werken op laptop / studeren etc.
