I love this place, probably the best café in Kathmandu, right in front of Buddhanath stupa. Very friendly staff, always welcoming, smiling, devoted to serve and help the customers. The place is quite big, very clean, good place to work with the laptop.
I have gone to this place more. Than 12 times as the view to stupa in unique variety of western dishes helpful waiters but their toilets flash are not working Have reported to cleaning staff but till now nothing has been done to repair them its pity for such nice place
Nice and cozy cafe with great view to the stupa. Chilling music, delicious sweets. Try cheesecake and apple pie! Polite and kind staff, fast service. There is wifi. It accepts cards.
Excellent view.
Decent coffee.
90s style breakfast set.
Unworthy vegetarian burger.
Dried Deepfry chicken burger.
Never again grilled cheese sandwich.
Overpriced and very diluted ice tea.
Service is good when you finally get their attention.
On the pricy side.
Stable wifi.
Since it’s a popular hangout spot for my friends I think I have no choice but be back to explore some better option on their menu.
Clean, safe, EU style, wifi, great coffee +1st floor stupa view FOC :-)
A Mecca for the Western traveler. Not necessarily in a good way. This place is full of westerners with their noses in their phones or computers. But, for those who do have to stay connected, there is pretty reliable wifi, and I hear their coffee is really good (I'm not a coffee drinker), and I can attest that their chocolate cake is tasty. This place is one of the more expensive in the area, but still cheaper than you would find back home. Good breakfast.
Wow. Great service, great views, fast wifi, and the best Oreo milkshake I've ever eaten. ALSO!! One of the very few places with drip coffee and espresso. Highly recommended.
Great coffee, good sandwiches, free wifi, and a view of Boudhanath. Perfect!
The ambiance is good and you can enjoy your coffee being on your laptop or reading if not them then with a view of Boudha Gumba. Great service and great coffee. That’s what you need to make a day, a good day.
Great place to hang out and watch the world go by. Coffee is excellent, as is the service. internet not working for the last few days, but usually good. Great views of the Boudhanath stupa.
good wifi. not good value for money giving cold lettuce no good
Service bad but great wifi
Another delightful branch of this much vaunted coffee chain, this one has amazing views of the ethereal, gleaming white Boudhanath Stupa outside. This café is especially high in aesthetics. The walls are a pleasant pastel lemon; the comfy sofa seating and some shared workspaces, stretches deep into the building and occupies an entire floor. The staff is exceptionally professional and polite; reminded me of 5-star hotel staff in India. The best seats are besides the windows facing the stupa, and are mostly taken by the time you arrive. The food is great. The all-day breakfast platters are available till 3pm. Mine came with absolutely fresh eggs, substantial slices of bread and a lush green salad. A real value-for-money breakfast. The affogato I'd to go with it, is better than what sadly passes for affogatos in touristy places in India. It's a place where people linger and relax, though there were also people working on their laptops. To each its own!
An elegant café located in the circular plaza surrounding the Buddhist temple. You can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner, or simply enjoy a coffee and other drinks while relaxing. They also serve desserts, pastries, and ice cream. Wi-Fi is available. It's a quiet, modern spot with a terrace.
The coffee shop Alisa visited only had three seats by the window; you could grab a seat as soon as someone left.
**Recommended**
1. Fish and Chips
Very crispy
2. Yogurt with Fruit
Honey yogurt with cereal, quite delicious.
**Others I Tried**
1. Matcha
Light, not sweet
2. Teh Tarik (pulled tea)
Spicy, Indian style, not Malaysian.
**Atmosphere**
1. Clean and relaxed, many foreigners
2. The Wi-Fi password is "americano"
A great place for coffee with a view of the Stupa. Modern decor, good coffee, and delicious cheesecake! They have Wi-Fi and you can charge your phone.
We've also been to another one from the same chain in Durbar Square, and it's not as good as this one.
It is a Nepalese fast food chain that combines simple dishes (same in price and type throughout Nepal) with a modern atmosphere, free wifi, and excellent coffee.
