Found out about this place from a TikTok user's recommendation who said the ambiance here is really homey, just like the name 'Homi'. Turns out, it's really homeyyyyyy. I really like the interior. The wifi is super fast. I don't need to ask for the password because it's on the receipt. The ambiance is what makes me feel at home and I would recommend this place to friends who are looking for a working space. They use warm lighting in almost all areas, even study lamps and lights in the back outdoor area (toilets and prayer rooms). There are lots of seating areas and it doesn't make you feel sore. They have indoor and outdoor spaces. The indoor space is quite cold in my opinion, so it's better to prepare your jacket, while the outdoor space has fans. Then, one of the biggest points for Homi is their playlist, it's really suitable for accompanying work! 🥺 They considered the volume so it doesn't disturb, but it still sounds clear and is perfect for background music. So even without earphones, it's safe because the music selection is good.

There's also a prayer room and restrooms (separate for men and women). The restrooms even smell like tea because they use Dahlia Keraton Tea air freshener, and the interior is beautiful too🥺🌿

The price is still reasonable (for a student in Greater Jakarta). I'll repeat my order because the WFC here is so crowded for almost 7 hours🥺🙏🏼

First, I ordered the Funtaste Waffle🧇 and Kopi Kenari☕️.

Honestly, I didn't expect the waffle plating to be so thoughtful😭 It's soooooo delicious... for my liking, it's a little too sweet. But when you eat it all at once, the taste is balanced and addictive! Basically, the waffle is served with vanilla ice cream, but what I like is that the ice cream isn't too sweet, so it pairs well with the caramel sauce, and the hint of sourness from the strawberry slices and sweet caramel sprinkles (cmiiw). Where did you get the egg roll? That makes this menu a 9.5/10 for me!

As for the coffee, I thought it was just typical coffee with palm sugar milk. I didn't ask why it's called Kopi Kenari. I thought there was something "walnut" in the coffee, but there wasn't. The coffee wasn't too sweet, and since they say they don't use added sugar, you can't request less sugar. Overall, it was a perfect accompaniment to the waffles. I give it a 7.9/10!

My next order was French fries, as the craving for snacking grows as the night goes on. I was going to order mendoan, but they weren't available. The potatoes were just like regular potatoes and were still really hot. Yumm, 8/10!

The downside is the wait time for food is a bit long. Yesterday, the time from ordering to arriving was more than 15 minutes. Even though no one failed, it's best not to order when you're hungry, hehe. Oh yeah, it seems like it's always busy here, because I came during the Eid holiday period, and the place was almost fully seated. Just be smart in choosing your arrival time and if possible, be wise in adjusting your order & length of time here🤗🌿

Located near Demangan and this place has really awesome atmosphere.

Chair and desk available in this cafe are good quality of stuff and definitely will comfort you for some hour of working or just sitting and talk with your friends.

Homi Coffee and Space is probably THE MOST COMFORTABLE working space I have visited!

They have many desks comfortable to work on, whether alone or in groups. The atmosphere is very conducive. Their toilets are very clean and they also have a small mushalla.

Their foods are also delicious and come with a decent portion. The price is very affordable. Definitely worth a visit!

Cons: I visited here twice and always sat on the corner in no-smoking room, and was annoyed enough by some mosquitoes :( Once I ordered lemon tea and it tasted so awful. The air conditioner didn't work well too bcs some spots just felt so hot.

It's more like a library/ co working space than a cafe. People booked their seat first before they ordered.

I thought the seat was empty, but turned out there was a bag under the table, meaning its someone else's table and I wasn't supposed to sit in that table. It was a bit ridiculous, no body was there but the bag.

The food just so-so, the coffee also hoovering the standard bar.

The point is, it's not the place to get something to eat. People come here to work on their laptop. Order the cheapest in the menu, and sit there until the the closing time.

Homi is a study gathering place located at Demangan. This place is cozy, big working space, you can work or study with your friends or even individual. They have good service, and very tasty food. I recommend this place from students to elder people who want to work or study.

Cozy and homey cafe to chill or chit-chat with friends. There is also small but comfortable co-working space. They have clean bathroom (sparated between ladies and gents) and also prayer room. Anyway, my fav coffee in Homi is cold kiss, espresso and sunkist.

The place is quite big but it's pretty crowded, I'm guessing that's because it's simplt in the middle of town. The drinks are average. The snacks I bought here is onion rings, it's looks big and pretty but ngl it's taste bland and really need salt in the batter. The wifi a little unstable, it's probably because there's so many people there when I'm visiting.

One of my favourite places to do assignments. This place is spacious and comfy. It has outdoor and indoor area. Their coffee and food are good. Coffee price is standard, but the food is a bit overprice. Since i came when there werent a lot of people, so the wifi connection was really fast.

I’ve visited here a few times, and the coffee and snacks are always great. However, today I had a less pleasant experience. I left my glass on the table to use the restroom; although it was nearly empty, my laptop was still there. When I returned, a staff member had already removed the glass, which made me feel subtly rushed. From other reviews I’ve read, apparently making customers feel unwelcome is a bit of a specialty here. I hope this isn’t standard practice and that it won’t happen again in the future.

New nice coffee shop in town. The plus is they have a small co-working area which is quite nice for you who needs to work remotely. Also good amount of plugs! The coffee is okay, not amazing but obviously not bad. The price is average. Oh, they might play the music quite loud so all you have to do if you are working is just ask the baristas to turn down the volume a little bit.

- The menu selection is varied. The food is delicious, but the side dishes are lacking. The lettuce is clean, the rice is cooked evenly. The drink is standard matcha, too sweet.

- When you go to the cashier, press the bell first, then the staff will come and serve you. You can pay with cash or QR code. They are fast and friendly, and can recommend food and drinks. (‼️The wait for food is quite long; ordering 1/1+ still takes a long time, around 15 minutes or more.) You are not allowed to bring in outside food and drinks (except drinks in tumblers). The food and drink containers are ergonomic, so they don't make it difficult for customers to consume them.

- Motorcycle parking is easy (10+ motorcycles can fit in the designated space). The downside for cars is the limited space; maybe only one car can fit in the designated space, with the rest parked on the street. Parking is directly in front of the cafe, easy to find.

- The bathroom is clean. There's also a prayer room, separated for men and women.

🛜 Wi-Fi & Space
- Fast Wi-Fi (‼️But it keeps dropping out, so you have to check frequently). The place is comfortable, available indoors and outdoors. The atmosphere is very peaceful (very minimal noise, even customers already know the unwritten rule at Homi to stay quiet). The sofas are predominant, making it suitable for studying, WFC, working, or just meeting friends. Suitable for solo customers or groups of 2, 4, or 6 people. There's a corner space for introverts who want a super quiet atmosphere (there's an extra study lamp because the room is a bit dark), a collaboration space (shared tables), plenty of outlets (at every table), very cool air conditioning (be prepared to bring a jacket or wear warm/thick clothes, socks, and shoes), study lamps and extra pillows at some tables, aesthetic mirrors, and an even distribution of chairs (some in the corner, in front of the cashier, and in the middle of the cafe). Overall, it's very comfortable for people who need peace and quiet for high levels of focus.

A cozy cafe in the Demangan area. The seating is comfortable and very cozy. There are power outlets at every table, and the Wi-Fi is quite fast. The food and drinks are delicious. Ample motorcycle parking is available out front. Car parking is somewhat limited to the east side of the cafe.

Actually, Homi is one of my favorite cafes for assignments since 2021, but yesterday the wifi couldn't connect even though I had ordered, I asked at the bar and the employee looked confused without giving a solution, even though my cellphone could connect, another laptop could connect and when I moved cafes, I could still connect.. even though I went there to be productive but the connection couldn't be used

The Wi-Fi is good, the atmosphere is good, the prayer room is good, the toilets are clean. There are lots of seating options. Some have wall-facing seating and study lamps (plus point for introverts).
I tried the lemon tea, lychee tea, and dori rice with sambal dabu2, all delicious.

My first, and probably the last, time I visited this cafe. Don't come during peak hours. The first time I went, I intended to take a WFC break, but the indoor area was full, so I had to sit outdoors, which wasn't really outdoors because it was still indoors, just without air conditioning.
I intended to take a WFC break to cool off, but for some reason, the wifi on my laptop wouldn't connect. When it did, it would disconnect again. I had to use my personal data. The service was unfriendly, but luckily, I was later served by a friendlier one. Then, it was hot. Since the weather was so hot, sitting outdoors, which wasn't outdoor, was extremely unhelpful because the wind couldn't even get through the gaps. 😭
You might have to come really early to get a seat inside, or maybe if you're lucky enough, you can get one.
I don't know about the food, because I only ordered wedges, and nope, not recommended.
Maybe it was just my bad day after all. I'd just sat down and felt like going home if I hadn't remembered I'd ordered a snack, which took a little longer to arrive than the drink. But maybe it was just because it was busy.
In conclusion, don't come during busy hours, don't come when the weather is hot, and don't expect too much from the Wi-Fi.

I really really like this place. Cozy, comfortable, aesthetic, cold AC, even though the place is full but it's still cool. The atmosphere is perfect for WFC or studying. And what I appreciate the most is, when the main meal took a long time to come out, they gave me ice cream as a form of apology for having to wait so long, and it's a really sweet gesture🥺 The barista there is friendly, so it feels at home and welcomed. Maybe what can be improved again is the wifi speed and the waiting time for the main meal. But overall highly recommend, would totally go back!

There are many tables for individual assignments with sockets. From the chairs, it's also quite soft and comfortable for sitting for a long time for assignments. The music played is easy listening, the volume is just right so it doesn't disturb when working on assignments. The lighting is just right, there are also study lamps if needed, the air conditioning is strong, the wifi is decent, the bathroom is clean and the prayer room is clean too! There are outdoor tables too. The menu choices are varied, there are coffee/non-coffee, snacks, desserts, main courses. During the day, it's busy for assignments. Parking is quite spacious for motorbikes and there are parking attendants. When I went there, it happened to be a rainy afternoon, visitors' helmets were secured so they wouldn't get wet. Overall, I was very satisfied there, I could spend hours there.

I was so touched to find the place I wanted to work on my assignments.

This was the first time I'd found a place to hang out that was so comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, and the food was delicious, and the chairs were soft and didn't make me sore. I really felt at home here.

I've been here so many times but recently I've had bad experiences, from the barista who always forgets the menu to me waiting for hours (already twice at different times), the wifi is also now disconnecting and slow. The maintenance is lacking, this cafe is indeed busier now than before but in my opinion it's become bad. There are no compliments to compensate for their bad service, in other places I usually get compliments if they accidentally make a mistake.

The place tends to be crowded, perhaps because it's on campus. But it's a comfortable place, and the atmosphere is conducive to studying or just hanging out. I find the coffee delicious, and the waffles are fun-tasting, and they don't skimp on ice cream. The Wi-Fi is quite fast.

This cafe is perfect for those who want to work from home, do assignments, or just have some me time, because it's filled with people opening their laptops and focusing on themselves.

The location is not on the main road. If you are coming from the UNY or UGM campus, you can go through the T-junction before the movie box. The place is very comfortable, there is a working space (a place to do individual work on a laptop equipped with a power outlet) and there is also a discussion space. Outside there is also a place that is very suitable for relaxing and chatting. For the drink menu, the price is around Rp. 25,000.00 to Rp. 30,000.00. My favorite is taro, here they provide the best tasting taro!!! You will not regret buying it! For main meals starting from Rp. 25,000.00 with very large and delicious portions! Awesome!
