Kafe & Hrnky

1 | I'm Czech and I live in Prague and this cozy café is a very pleasant surprise for me. It is tricky to find a café in the vicinity of Prague Castle that is not a tourist trap. Kafe & Hrnky (in Czech it means Coffee & Mugs) is a place I can recommend.

2 | The cafe has quite a large space, with around 13 tables inside. Outside there is a beautiful garden with flowers and umbrellas. The entrance to the cafe can feel a little hidden, don't be afraid to walk through the passageway.

3 | I liked the coffee, the prices are average. Cappuccino is 85 CZK, espresso is 55 CZK, flat white is 89 CZK.

4 | For food they have soup, hummus and other goodies. Unfortunately, I didn't taste them.

5 | Yes, it is possible to pay by card.

6 | There is free internet, wifi is called "smrtkomunismu", the password will tell you the barista.

Příjemná kavárna se skvělým vnitroblokem, milá obsluha a dobrá káva. Skvělý kontrast tomu ruchu na ulici. Oceňuji název wifi.

+ KÁVA: jemné chuti, není kyselá ani hořká, cappuccino s latte art 👍
+ JÍDLO: míchaná vajíčka se zeleninou a slaninou a s křupavým chlebem naprosto výborná
+ DEZERT: velký výběr, domací koláč s malinami není suchý ani přeslazený
+ OBSLUHA: velmi milá a pohotová
+ PROSTŘEDÍ: prosvětlené, čisté, moderní, originální výzdoba (keramické hrnky, obrazy), vše dotažené do detailu (sedačky a i vlastní nádobí s logem, originální název wifi)
+ ZAHRÁDKA: hodně míst k sezení, naprostý klid, výhled na Petřín, bez obsluhy
+ TOALETY: čisté, kvalitní mýdlo i krém, originální výzdoba

Very unfriendly people. We sat down in the garden where a lot of people were having breakfast. We needed to Grab our own menucards and order at the bar. When we wanted to order breakfast, we couldnt order what we wanted. No worries, we looked again on the menu and made a second choice. Then the Guy behind the bar told us that because of the garnishing being out, we couldnt order food anymore. Then again all the people outside were eating. They didnt offer anything to compisate Esther. The girls working behind the bar looked at us as if we could go up in smoke, so we left.
