Mona Lisa Cafe

Pathetic service and rude staff and owner. We ordered soup n pizza together, the soup came after half n hour and that too after multiple follow ups n it tasted like ketchup. We were hoping for pizza with the soup but had to wait for another hour for it to arrive that too when I personally went to kitchen showed my frustration. Finally it was served but it was undercooked and tasteless and when we complained about it the old man (owner) started fighting when he himself said oven is not working properly.

Did not even switch on the AC when requested stating foreign guests are smoking n will disturb them, that too in a rude tone.

Don't get tempted by the foreign crowd sitting in the restaurant, they will only treat them well and misbehave with Indians.

Worse restaurant/cafe ever.

This place serves good with decent price range. The service is awful they take so much time to serve. I love the ambience and they have wifi with decent speed. Worth giving it a try.

Nice cakes, however both times I've visited, the elderly man working at the front desk was quite unfriendly, so I won't be coming back. PS. Dies ist eine deutsche Bewertung.

Awesome place for work..!! Spent 5 hours from morning 8 AM to 1 PM. Got free wifi, charging point & yes delicious food. Must visit

It's a good place to stop by, honey nuts cake is fantastic, coffee is good too. I spent some time there almost everyday writing notes and using wifi with computer. Can be ideal for working remotely.

Food preparation is good .
Service is slow unable to cater to high customer traffic at rush time.

Great food at cheap prices. A/C, fans and Wi-Fi working. Went there for breakfast. 100rps for the indian set, 40rps for lassi and 50rps for a banana pancake that was huge.

Thali sets are at 100rps, cheaper than most restaurants. They have momos for 60rps and other food from different countries.

Would definetely recommend.

I went to Varanasi for the first time in 15 years! I was so happy to see the old man still working here! The cinnamon rolls and cheesecake are cheap and delicious! I went there every day during my stay!

Very nice vibes, but they recently changed the prices and most things are really overpriced with no good reason (“quality products” doesn’t justify if you’re familiar with products’ prices, and compare to same simple dishes in reasonably priced restaurants).
Coffee does smell and look great.
Cakes are very nice relative to India.

A great cafe targeting the tourists. Great food, good wifi, friendly staff, very close to the hostel with the same name.
There are many cuisines available and they also have delicious cakes.
Rooftop is available but not really used due to it being winter.

Great variety of dishes available here. Prices are decent and the service is good. Wonderful atmosphere and free wifi.
