Naive Athens has honestly become one of my absolute favorite cafés in Athens and I’ve tried a lot, since I worked from a different café almost every week. This place is a solid 10/10 for me.

The menu is great and delicious, the cocktails are special. The plants throughout the café make it feel really beautiful and relaxing, and there’s even a little cat around sometimes. They also seem very animal-friendly in general, I often see people there with their dogs.

A special shoutout to the blond waitress working evenings: she is incredibly kind, patient, helpful, and genuinely warm. I’m often super indecisive about what to order, and she’s always so sweet about it.

You absolutely have to try the carrot cake, it’s honestly one of the best I’ve had. Not too sweet, just perfect.

The only small thing I would change as an owner is the new tipping system. I always like to tip, but being directly asked every time, especially with suggested amounts like 20% even for just a cappuccino, it can feel a bit uncomfortable as a guest. I understand why businesses do it, but I think the experience would feel more relaxed without it.

Other than that: truly top, top, top. Highly recommended.

We are staying the Grand Hyatt and reviewing local coffee shops and restaurants to recommend to visitors. This place came highly recommended. We visited the counter and the female working behind the counter greeted us with an attitude. The gentleman was very welcoming and friendly. The gentleman gave me an iPad to order our drinks. I clicked on what I wanted and the lady stopped me and asked why I was there. I was excited to tell her we were visiting from the United States. She rudely and loudly told me I needed to go outside and order. I told her I was following the gentleman’s instructions. She said sitting here order here, sitting outside order outside. Her tone, her nonverbal and her attitude made us feel so uncomfortable we left. We don’t recommend this place!

The place downstairs is really nice! But also upstairs it’s cozy and perfect for remote working.

Excellent shop, relaxing atmosphere, very nice people, and also if you want to choose a place to read or work on your laptop, you can choose the upper floor, which is really an entire house.

Everything you need for all hours of the day. Also worth it for remote working.
