wifi isn’t amazing but otherwise great place for a coffee and to work/read
I love it, nice staff, large choice of drinks. For food it would be nice to have a bit more salty options.
internet is good, plugs available.
I recommend for working
I was very pleasantly surprised by the Hawaiian Bagel (which I asked to swap out the beef brisket and replace with chicken ham). I finished every bit of it in no time! Toilet’s clean, wifi is good but little power plug.
Cool cafe with a relaxing interior. The October Sandwich (Rm 15.5) was a bit disappointing. They could add more beef. But the Korean spicy sauce was a great match. The peach orange juice (Rm 11.5) was amazing. They have free wifi and a power outlet so I was able to do some remote work for a few hours.
Hidden gem of a place. It is nice and quiet in the morning for a cuppa. Food prices are reasonable. I enjoyed the wifi and browsing through their merchandise. Ambiance is really cosy, with lots of different areas to sit and chill. Highly recommended!
Very chill vibes, fun to read the notes that customers leave behind & to write and leave one myself. Theres wifi here and closes a bit late, coffee was good i got the pistachio latte. Bakes were ok
A worthy place to visit, this cafe owner have their own house brew beans and have a wall art drew by the owner (A Korean) and his wife (local Malaysian) <-- if my info is correct.
Cosy place to chill and have meeting with 2 stories, not suitable for co working space, but suitable for a chill out session.
The service crew are attentive and able to serve their customer.

By far the best cafe with barista I have visited in Kota Kinabalu. The place is really cozy, neat and clean, including the toilet. Price wise isa few dollars cheaper than most of the other cafe. Food selection is limited but they do have scones (which I ordered). Very strong and good wifi Highly recommended !
This place really does not require any introduction. It is still the go to cafe in Kota Kinabalu and is likely on of the most famous cafes around.
I personally prefer the scones here to any other shops around. They also offer a variety of sandwiches, cakes and other desserts too.
Most of the standard drinks are available here and people mostly come for the ambiance and gathering with friends.
During peak hours, this place can become fully packed and considering people usually stay for hours coupled with the difficult parking outside, it is recommend to come during less busy hours if you plan dine in.
There is free wifi and the cafe is extremely photogenic, almost every surface has some kind of paraphernalia decorated to give customers a unique feel no matter where you choose to sit. Ya
Cute place with good wifi and seating space. I like the decor and Ambiance. I got the flat white and it was really nice. Not many people there early but gets a bit busy later on. Just a tad cold with the AC and fans blowing so bring a jacket. But overall nice, will go back.
A hidden gem that serves great toast in my opinion. We had long black and latte. Very lovely ambience. But the wifi can’t really work 😂 It’s typical cafe pricing. Beverages at about RM 10-ish!
A good cafe to just sit down and relax, slow down. I would say October Coffee Gaya is must visit.
I think that I can't resist the lure of coffee, no matter where I go to. Even when I was in KK, I just had to satisfy the craving for caffeines especially after a long day. We'd just finished our Mari-Mari Cultural Village tour at Inanam which came with complimentary lunch, and then headed back to the city centre.
What I like about the cafe is the fact that it has a nice and cosy environment. The interior was nicely done with few nook and corner to spend time sipping coffee while working or chatting away. They even have a Mezzanine floor with if you prefer to drink with a "view" - actually not much view except for the interiors.
◾chocolate brownies - love it when the brownies was served warm and drizzled with more chocolate.
◾scones - not bad as the scones were crumbly and tasted just as nice
◾Good coffees were served here!
Staffs were polite, helpful and professional. Overall a nice place to chill.
Note: Parking is quite difficult during daytime.
Nice atmosphere cafe. wifi available.
Their coffee tastes good! Ordered banana ice cream toast as well. Toast have multi grain and does not feel sinful hahah
one of the coziest place to have a beautiful cup of coffee and talk. also they have a free wifi!
Coffee was great & delicious snacks. There were lots of seating options.Got wifi! I'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a cozy place to relax by yourself or even gathering with your friends
Good food, good coffee. wifi is unstable during lunch time though.
This cosy cafe is a such a welcome respite from the heat of KK! Entering it was like entering a whole different world. The coffee is excellent, coming from an Australian. I have to agree the AC could be reduced though since any coolness is an improvement from the outside, no need to make it the Arctic! Good free wifi and cheap snacks.
A great little coffee shop with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Their coffee is delicious and the bruschetta is a must try.
That said, their wifi is spotty and whether of not they decide to add tax seems to be fairly random.
A great place for groups, with a cozy and warm environment. They offer good coffee, cakes, and and wifi. It has a contemporary design. This cafe is often recommended for its relaxing atmosphere, ample space, and lush greenery. It's considered a good spot for both work/study and catching up with friends and family. Prices are reasonable.
Friendly staff, delicious food, good price, wifi works very well
Great place ,coffee ,and the Korean street toast. It recommends by tripadvisor and awarded by Sabah the best coffee year 2016.And the wifi workable than 4G.
Came here to work as it’s one of the few cafes that is open at 9 am and it closes at night in the area. There’s wifi and some plug points. There are a lot of drink choices but not much for food - so it’s not suitable if you’re looking for a full meal. I had a large iced latte and a beef october sandwich which were pretty good. The price is pretty standard as well. It’s a nice aesthetic cafe and the crowd comes and goes so it doesn’t get too noisy.
the environment was nice. good songs, cool atmosphere. nice staff as well. food and drinks are okay. they are good, but not special. overall, nice place.
btw, there are electric plugs available for some tables if you want to stay to do work using your laptop.
A perfect place to chill out having coffee and some sweets with your buddies and love one. I suggest to spend couple of hours here, and walk to Waterfront to watch sunset. The wifi also quite fast. This cafe have few big table, perfect for doing some works.
Gorgeous coffee shop just outside the centre of KK. Prices are very reasonable, staff are super friendly, and there is AC, power sockets and wifi for anyone looking to get some work done. Food & coffee are excellent.
Great place. Atmosphere is perfect for coffee and has very fast wifi(important). Coffee is served in a unique way.
The place tho, needs more local selection of coffee beans.
Great place! Wonderful coffee and desserts. Fast wifi!! Much better than the Starbucks at the mall. Short walk. Friendly staff!!
wifi been block, certain filters been in place. If you need wifi for your work. DONT enter here.
Overall nice place to stop and have a drink.
Coffee's good but the cake tasted stale. They have wifi and it's just right beside the trail to get to Signal Hill.
Cute cosy cafe with good coffee. The bagel was tasty too! Reliable wifi
Nice and cozy spot. Had breakfast and worked on my laptop. wifi is fast!
Great Atmosphere, Great coffee and Ice beverages and if you need it, there's free (fast) wifi
Nice place to chilling with friends. the price is good. wifi also good. overall this is the best
Clean cozy cafe. Although they have free wifi, somehow I couldnt access even Google.
This café is a great place to work on a laptop, with Wi-Fi and power outlets available. It's also a convenient spot for an evening visit, as it stays open until 10 PM, which is especially nice in Gaya Street, where many cafés close earlier.
The latte was delicious, with a pleasant nutty flavor. The house beans have low acidity, making them a great match for milk-based drinks.
Decaf beans are also available, although the staff didn't mention this option during my visit. If you prefer decaf, make sure to ask!
The café also has a second floor, but it was closed off during my evening visit, possibly for cleaning. I was also impressed by the artwork created by the Korean owner, which added a unique touch to the café.

A typical hip cafe. Wi-Fi and power outlets are available. The mocha coffee is decent, but not strong enough for me. The restrooms are clean. Service is fast.
You can enjoy coffee and meals in a relaxed atmosphere, and there is also Wi-Fi, making it ideal for working on a PC.
