Oromo Cafe Lincoln Square

Love their food and coffee but food takes a long time and there is never seating available. Always taken up by people on their laptops.

TLDR: Golden Mylk latte is *amazing*, good working space, and unique location (right next to Lincoln Square commercial corridor). Now here's the inside scoop:

☕ Coffee: known as the coffeeshop with the most unique coffee in Chicago, so definitely gotta try any one of their Sig. drinks (priced at about $8 including tax)
🏠 Seating: ample seating though can be a bit crowded at times since it's a bit small; ports abound if you want to get work done.

📶 Fast But Inconsistent wifi: could be just me but although secure and cranking at about 93 Mbps on average, it can be a pain to get connected to the guest network. Password can be found near the pickup area.

The place is super cozy and the drink was so good. I ordered Pistachio rose latte and a snack on the side (forgot the name). Definitely my favorite place to get some work done especially in the cold rainy day.

This is one of my favorite cafes to work from home. Great drinks, snacks, and food! Lots of seating and outlets. The only downside is the music can be loud, especially if you’re reading or on a call. Great place to meet with friends. Excellent, friendly, helpful staff.

This place is always busy which is great for the cafe! Would not recommend this place to do any kind of work as you can never find seating because it's always taken.
But do make a pit stop and get the matcha pistachio bar!! It's amazing!🤤

Yummy baked goods and straightforward espresso beverages. My drink of choice? The coconut cubano. This place is always packed to the gills. In my mind, that's a good sign. Also, I've never been out a seat. But if you're looking for a place to work, study or do both, worth keeping in mind.
