Love this place for working or chill. Basically it's a free co-working, just pay what you order.
wifi 2 hours if you order for 100th, and 4 hours if more than that.
wifi is not that great but still OK. YouTube seems to be blocked.
Nice view and smoking area.

The interior is nice, and the music sets a decent mood — slightly louder than ideal, but nothing unbearable. The working atmosphere is intentional: this is a co-working café by day and a bar by night, and it leans into that identity hard. They do have soundproof call booths, which is a genuinely useful touch for a co-working space.

The alcohol is part of the concept. Not my thing, but not my review to ruin over personal taste.

The food menu is limited — this is not a café in the traditional sense. What little they have doesn't always match what they claim to have: I was told the salmon-and-avocado bowl would come without avocado. I didn't bother ordering.

As someone who is lactose intolerant, I was glad to find oat milk — the latte was genuinely good. Their signature coffees, though, come premixed with cow's milk and cannot be adjusted. A shame.

The Wi-Fi is tied to how much you spend. Fine in principle, slightly irritating in practice.

Getting here deserves its own paragraph. Find T-One Building, locate a hidden passage, clear a security checkpoint where around ten guards will inspect your bags and pockets for outside food, board a guarded lift, and remember your floor number — or you will end up somewhere considerably higher than planned.

If you are a freelancer or digital nomad hunting for a vibe, this is your spot. If you have specific needs and limited patience for an expedition just to get a coffee — probably not.

Thoroughly impressed with the decorations and the vibe of this place. Great for working and boardgames. We had a great night with live DJ. The food portion was a little small for the price but delicious!

Very poor wifi situation. You just end up using your mobile data. Hard to connect. And it’s timed to two hours unless you pay for more food.

Bring your own water because drinks are extortionate for Thailand prices. They’re above European levels.

Nice interior but even the music is way too loud for a co- work spot.

Some feedback as someone who works with businesses:

You need to define what your business is. It seems to be trying to do everything but isn’t good at anything. There’s cafes in Bangkok that are providing better spaces and they don’t claim to be co-work cafes.

I understand this space needs to function but why not just charge people on entry and have unlimited wifi, free coffee etc…it’s 2026.

I ended up at the Starbucks downstairs, faster wifi and cheaper food and quieter

Many better working places in Bangkok that are far superior. Don’t bother coming here.

Ernest McLeod23.10.2026

Great idea. Day time co-working space and night time a bar on the 40th floor. Lots of tables available. From a coworking space what I really love is that it's does not feel like an office.

Francesco23.10.2026

Great cafe on the 40th floor with a nice view and good place to work. However, the “pay as you go” system is quite frustrating. If you have multiple devices you need to purchase separate access for each one, and the wifi password expires every 4 hours, which makes working here inconvenient.

Ingo “Keep Going”23.10.2026

If you spend over 400 baht, you get 4 hours of Wi-Fi; under 200 baht, only 2 hours. ( im not so sure, but i went here twice and kind of got the gist of the wifi rule here) The music blasting from the DJ booth outside the phone booth makes it less ideal for meetings. It’s not really a budget-friendly coworking space either, since the Wi-Fi cuts off when your time runs out and you have to order again. The environment is quite noisy, so focusing can be difficult, but since I’m not very sensitive to noise, it was fine for me. The view is great, and if you think of it as a coworking space where a DJ plays live music, it’s definitely unique and worth checking out especially if you want to spark some creative inspiration in a lively setting.

Marc Pawares23.10.2026

Love this place! 5 stars for the service and the cool office aesthetic. However, some digital nomads here seem to forget that a 'Theme Office' is not an actual quiet zone. If you need 100% silence to focus on your remote career…please find a real co-working space or Wework.

To the two white guys who tried to hush me for socializing or taking photos in a place that literally provides Jenga and Uno. That’s totally hilarious that you’re acting like you own the place for the price of one coffee. If you can’t handle the energy of a social hangout, maybe invest in an ergonomic chair from Lazada and stay in your rental somewhere in Sukhumvit Soi 50++ Don’t ruin the atmosphere for everyone else who’s here to actually have a good time!

P23.10.2026

I really wanted to like this place, but it’s one of those places that are so low-end that they nickel and dime you, and attracts the type of person that you would expect in a place like that.
There’s also a million rules that I guess were imposed after they had negative experiences with rowdy guests - apparently it used to be a nightclub and is somehow still run that way, except now everyone looks sad and is on a laptop.

“Fest” is a much better option nearby

Miki23.10.2026

Stop hunting for outlets! 🔌 Paper Plane is a no-fee co-working space in Bangkok perfect for long hours. Every seat seems to have a plug, the coffee keeps you going (and wifi connection - they give you wifi password for 2-4hr with your order), and the vibe is spot on for getting work done. Highly recommended if you’re running low on battery.

Victor Ong23.10.2026

A vibrant and quality co-working space (w a disco ball) that charges no fee– just simply order something from the cafe and you get wifi access and free use of their desks. Proper chairs too for good posture. work hard, play hard; happens concurrently. A cocktail for finishing a task, why not? Good music good vibes– a DJ takes to the decks in the afternoon. At night, the space transits into an office party, with the “office” ceiling box lights animating in colour. Good cocktails, good selection of wine too. Excellent pizzas. Must-try: Hatyai Chicken Pizza.

H23.10.2026

Great place for working except that the music volume is way to loud during the days. They should keep it down a bit. Most people sits with noise cancelling headphones. I get if the volume goes up during the evening but in the days I would say 99% of people here are working. Makes no sense to blast music. Even if this were a normal cafe or a restaurant the volume is to loud. Feels more like a place where you go to get drinks.

Shofie Salsabilla23.10.2026

My most favourite co-working space in BKK.

Gorgeous view of the city from high above, they also have a smoking area where you can enjoy the breeze for a little break in between work.

The music is loud, especially when the DJ comes on, but it’s perfect for me because the beats get you into working mode. If it’s not for you then it’s nothing some noise-cancelling earphones can’t fix.

Coffee and food is great, staff is also friendly. A bit on the high-price but it’s well worth the experience and ambience you get.

Hushhhi23.10.2026

You can’t even arrive with a bottle of water in order for you to consume everything there. Weird vibes overall lol
They keeping the wifi like it’s some treasure
Heavy music during the day when they sell themselves as co working space during the day

Overall just disliked the vibe they wanna be bougie so bad when originally it’s a co working space lol and I am a foreigner I think they would probably be even ruder for Thai ppl.

There’s plenty of other good vibes/ co working/ community space around there just go to the other ones tbh

Eleven23.10.2026

So…very loud music)Free visiting but u need to order something for wifi access(1 device only&4 hours)Food is tasty😊 wine not? is toooooo sweaty 😓 As coworker’s place is not suitable for me because of loud( I mean LOUD) music) And grab a hoodie because after few hours you can get cold🥶 But I like this place as option for music and good food in good company)

Lilith23.10.2026

I feel like whoever did this place is really smart. They can keep it running 24 seven because during the day it’s a working space/ restaurant and at night it’s a bar. They are also right underneath the famous tichuca bar so when it starts raining its patrons have to come downstairs to where this bar is. And the transition from day to night was super surprising and impressive. The Fried rice egg shrimp garlic was fantastic! Also it has nice views of Bangkok.

Kathrine Novikova23.10.2026

This place is awesome for working, with plenty of space, tables, and chargers. The decor is a perfect mix of modern and vintage, which I’m obsessed with. Even if you're not a smoker, you should check out the smoking area—the view is absolutely breathtaking.

However, there are a few downsides. They don’t accept cash, and they stop selling coffee after 5pm. They even remove the free water after that time, so cocktails are the only option.

On the bright side, they have live music on some evenings around 8-9pm, which I really enjoy.

Fah Api23.10.2026

cozy atmosphere, perfect for coworking - free wifi but the food and drinks here are slightly pricey, but id also pay to come back to work here 😬🫣

Chizzy Y23.10.2026

This is not a bad review, but a sad review.

I’ve always loved Paper Plane Project. The layout, the atmosphere, and the overall energy of the space made it my go-to spot whenever I needed to focus and get things done. I’ve had some of my most productive workdays there, and I was genuinely excited when I heard they were reopening after renovations. I’d been waiting for the moment to return.

This morning, I arrived early, ready to dive into work. But as soon as i entered, I noticed the changes. Actually, I had meetings scheduled and quickly realized I couldn’t take any of them in the space because the music was too loud. I spoke to one of the staff members, and she kindly explained that the concept had shifted the restaurant now requires a certain level of music to maintain its vibe.

I understand that businesses evolve and strategies change, but I was disappointed to find that Paper Plane no longer offers the kind of work-conducive environment it once did. As I write this from a nearby Starbucks, I can’t help but feel a bit heartbroken. This space used to be a sanctuary for focus and deep work.

I still respect and appreciate everything the team behind Paper Plane is building. This review isn’t written with criticism in mind, but rather as heartfelt feedback from someone who truly valued what the space used to offer.

I hope there’s a way to strike a better balance in the future , one where the community can enjoy both great ambiance and a quiet place to create and work.

(The video was taken on early day with low music vibe that i used to love)

Plus, even though I ordered 460, I only got to use 4 hours of wifi. It felt forced.

Dominic O-T23.10.2026

This place is great in the morning. The food and coffee is good and it's not too expensive considering it's free entry and 4 hours of wifi per purchase. (update: now only 2 hours wifi per purchase and possibly even noisier)

However at around lunchtime the music starts to get louder and louder, by afternoon it's too loud to work, even with noise cancelling earphones in I can hear it. They play loud R&B and nightlife music. It's like they want to give off bar vibes, but they start way too early and it ruins the coworking atmosphere. I'd recommend reasessing that as it does put people off coming which is a shame because it's a nice place otherwise. Also the AC is crazy cold.

C G23.10.2026

Pretentious vibe that one can forgive but damn the service here is nonexistent. I get better service from paying 50baht pad tagi than the 500+ baht meal I paid here. Smiled at the staff and they are so uptight and made me feel like i was bothering them when I was just placing an order. This is not a conducive working space

Irina Rezwan23.10.2026

It’s such a unique co-working space, unlike any I’ve been to before. I wouldn’t recommend trying the food though, I didn’t enjoy it.

As much as I loved the atmosphere and the friendly staff, getting here was too much of a hassle. I had to wait in line downstairs and the security guard went through my tote bag, my makeup bag and made me throw out my water. All to visit… a co working space? It’s a bit much in my opinion. Way too much security and checks and condescending behaviour from the ground floor staff

Hameow KC23.10.2026

Nice place for day and night
Day time: Co-working Space
Night time: Nice atmosphere bar and drinks

A bit complicated how to reach the place. It is on 40th flr of T-One building, taking the back lift.

Price is normal for the food and drink in this area..but
A bottle of water 100 thb.. quite a surprise when got the receipt

Wei NgC23.10.2026

Well the good news is, the food is ok ish if you just come for the coffee and the snack, this place was recommended to me as a co working and social place, and i cannot confirm it at all. Like many comments stated before, the "club" music is way too loud and apparently set to the volume so you should leave as soon as possible. And we cant talk to friends in a proper way either, and the service was giving us a lot of attitude for some reason. We absolutely wont recommend you this one.

Richard Munisamy23.10.2026

I really love this place especially the crew who have on that t-shirts ask me anything and when I do and they can and they talk and it's great fun. What I was disappointed about was coming to the 40th floor and having my view spoiled by coffee machines positive plants a library and a clothes shop. I mean 40th floor this place cannot be cheap and you can hardly see out the windows. The other thing I was disappointed about was to say that you're charging B60 for an aluminum can of water of all things and the can says that aluminum is recyclable because aluminum is recyclable - everything is recyclable in the same way but the water costs nothing, so why waste money and electricity recycling aluminum? Do you actually recycle the other menu or does the can just go in a bin with everything else into a landfill? I came here to go to the nightclub to find out it was closed by the time I got here - very annoying but anyway apart from one of those little things everything else about this place is marvelous. As a co-working space it's got to be the best in Bangkok.

Nannaphat Pomchatturat23.10.2026

I’ve been here many times, and it never fails to impress me. The music and the people always create a wonderful atmosphere. It’s undoubtedly one of the best places in Bangkok for reading and working

Doris Kao23.10.2026

Every order only gets one wifi password and it’s per device. They didn’t mention at the beginning and I already logged in on my phone, so they requested me to order something else if I want to log in on my laptop. Definitely not friendly for people who wanna get some work done here. And the drinks are also bad, not worth the money!

Passport And Stamps23.10.2026

Lovely place to work. Been here already twice. There is no day pass fee, you pay what you order, coffee is good and they have alternative milk which is great. wifi is fast! They only downside is that it gets a bit too cold 🙈

M N23.10.2026

A bizarre vibe. Long rows of desks with private "offices" at the end overlooking everyone else makes this venue feel like a Californian tech startup office. It even has a foosball table to complete the look.

People working on laptops by themselves or in small pods is more reminiscent of a fancy university library or a co-working space.

I wouldn't call this place a cafe or a restaurant, which is OK, it is what it is, just manage your expectations before you go.

The menu is small and expensive and add on the price of a B100 compulsory ATK test before hopping in the lift, it was an expensive Saturday afternoon for us. What made this even harder to swallow was the fact it doesn't seem quite finished yet and some things still need refining. Like my Dirty (B160) which was extremely sweet and had lumpy cream in it. At that price, I expect extremely refined products.

The place had a small stage for live music and they serve alcohol after 5PM, so it might be a different experience once the sun goes down. However, I'm not sure how facing people at desks with the stage at the end of the room would make this a comfortable or natural live music experience.

On the up side, the view is amazing and having open edges at the ends of the room on the 40th floor means the breeze was beautiful and there was no need for aircon!

A K23.10.2026

As other reviews mentioned, bring some earplugs or be insensitive to working with loud music. Also, I was glad I brought enough layers to brace against the AC. The vegan food choice is unfortunately quite limited. Other than that I liked the layout of the space and after adjusting to noise and temperature I was able to work in a focused manner for quite a while. Will definitely be back.

Boonraksa Sopak23.10.2026

I’m actually on the fence now to decide whether this is a good co-working space or not. I can sit here and working on my own projects for hours, but the music is also quite distracting cuz it’s so good lol. The price was a bit high, but it comes with such a majestic view. Very easily accessible that you can walk there from the Thong Lor bts. Never been there at night tho, but I heard it turns to a bar when the goes down. To summarize, this is a legit place for me

Łukasz Maciuga23.10.2026

Worth it to see the views. Not really suitable for working because the music is very loud.

Nick Canfield23.10.2026

It would be perfect it it had:
1. Air purifiers -- other co-working spaces have this to make their air clean in Bangkok air pollution. Why not yours?
2. Better chairs -- these chairs are really bad for your back. Please get some better ones.

The coffee, staff, and location are great though. That's why 3 stars and not 2.

Saleh23.10.2026

Deleted my old review as they have improved a lot of the things I commented on, however there is still room to make it better so here is the 2026 review.

Pros:
- Comfortable Chairs, Private Booths for placing calls and good playlists.

Cons:
- AC is literally blasting and it seems hard to find a spot where you won't be freezing, it is really excessive and it's makes working quite uncomfortable after a couple of hours.
- wifi seems to have issues after a couple of hours of using it multiple websites start having connection issues and others dont I am not sure what causes this but it has happened multiple times.
- The prices on their menu are not inclusive of tax and I don't see why that should be the case. People will still order and it is nicer to know what your total will be upfront. I complained about this last year (one of the few things they seem to have not changed).
- Some of the dishes they serve make the whole co-working space stink.

Thats all that is left, fix the above and I think this place is pretty much as close to perfect as it can get.

Cabbage Brother23.10.2026

Perfect place for work, chilling, drinking, eating, chatting etc.....

T-ONE bldg 40F floor.

Paper Plane Project is a community space for everyone.

I love you all who is working here.

Safi23.10.2026

The Paper Plane Project is a very pleasant coworking space. Wi-Fi is free with the purchase of drinks, making it a convenient place to get work done. The atmosphere during typical working hours is relaxed, allowing for focused productivity. For those who need it, there is a designated smoking area, and the view from there is simply stunning.

Overall, I would gladly return here anytime.

Denis Foos23.10.2026

It’s basically a (free) coworking space with a café / restaurant inside. Most of the seating is designed for working, with proper desks and office-style chairs rather than typical café tables. I really like the vibe here. The Wi-Fi is unfortunately not unlimited, which is a real downside, but overall it’s still a great place to work or relax.

Joe Hoffmann23.10.2026

A very nice place to work at during the day. Entry is free, to get the wifi password you have to order something though. The coffee is tasty and the staff very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the music there as wellz however if you need silence while working better bringt some noise cancelling headphones.

During evening hours the place changes to some kind of bar. During my stay even a DJ played music. However even then it is a perfectly suitable place to get some work done.

Rashmi Prabha23.10.2026

The Bangkok Paper Plane Project was a great spot for getting work done. They offered coffee for around 150 baht and provided 8 hours of wifi access. It's a popular spot among digital nomads, sometimes bustling with activity. They also host meetups, which helped me make new friends. The coffee, especially the mocha, is delicious and highly recommended.

Surasak Kerdsin23.10.2026

The coolest hybrid co-working space where it turn to be the fantastic night club after sunset! Love coffee and those strawberry waffle so much!

Niluka @ ImagineThat23.10.2026

Great place but wish you would turn the music down a bit, 2pm is so early to start making this into a social place when everyone is working... Any chance you can take this and the other reviews into consideration? 🙏 Background music is fine but this is on another level!

Pomelo P23.10.2026

The atmosphere is really nice. It’s a great place to read or work during the day. However, I don’t understand why there’s a DJ playing such loud music when everyone is reading or working. Personally, I think the daytime music doesn’t really match the calm atmosphere. It would be better to play something more suitable for studying or working instead.

Ilia23.10.2026

I write this with some sadness..
I used to be a regular at the old PPP and the new renovated version just doesn't work for me.

It seems they turned it into some fancy hipster co-working + restaurant concept and tbh I think it ended up being neither of the two.

The only improvement is the better seats, but this is it. All the rest became way worse:

-The new table layout destroyed the sense of community that the old long, connected desks provided. Now you feel isolated on little islands of desks. The new meeting rooms are literally locked with a key and you need to ask the staff to unlock them, this makes it a bit intimidating and inconvenient to use. The old ones with the open layout were just fine!..
-The music is way too loud to get any work done, I was with my headphones and just couldn't focus.
-It became expensive and the menu is worse imo. No more free water means you have to buy drinks all the time with your food. with the 10% service charge and 7% tax I paid 20USD for breakfast. This spend every day makes it way too pricey.
-The internet is now 4 hours even with 600THB spend.. Used to be 8 hours. This is just a ripoff guys..
-The old informal style with silly memes was actually cute and homie. The new fancy styling is intended to look special, but imo it ends up looking just like any other of hundreds of upscale places in Bangkok.

I think that with the renovation the management did what THEY wanted to see and NOT WHAT THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMERS wanted to see. And all that people complained about in the old space were the chairs, that's it! All this new fancy decor is meaningless if everything else doesn't work.

So now this is not a co-working because you can't focus on work and can't really interact with other people as much. And it's not a restaurant because for these prices I can go to a nice hotel or a proper restaurant and get a much better value for food (and still get work done there)

In summary, this renovation was a complete miss imho :(

Petra K23.10.2026

Lovely free coworking space you just need to buy a coffee or other drink or food and you get a wifi login for 8 hours. There are plugs everywhere as well as some semi-private meeting space if you need to have a call with someone. Food is around 250-400 baht and coffee is also 200-300 baht.

Mykola Skalskyi23.10.2026

The concept of Paper Plane Project is fantastic, but the execution leaves much to be desired. The place is a mix between a coworking space and a bar.

Positives:
1. Very fast internet
2. Comfortable seating
3. Great, super friendly staff
4. Amazing view from the 40th floor

Main issue:
The music. There’s a DJ who constantly plays Hip-Hop and RnB at an extremely loud volume. Even noise-cancelling earbuds can’t block it out. While this might create a fun vibe in the evening, it makes it almost impossible to focus during the day.

It would be a huge improvement if the music during working hours were switched to something more neutral like lounge background music—or at least played at a much lower volume. As it stands, the noise level is simply ridiculous for a place that promotes itself as a coworking space.

Johan De Wolf23.10.2026

Unfortunately impossible to work here. Like all others have mentioned: very loud music and extreme A/C make it very inconvenient to work. My guess is the new owners try to push you to rent the private phone booths and meeting rooms ($$$).

Drinks (and complementary wifi) are expensive, but would have been worth it if you could actually do some work here. Chairs, desks and setting are all great. I can imagine it becomes a nice bar after hours.

Daisy Kindersley Mckenzie23.10.2026

I love Paper Planes Project.

I go here to WFH in a bustling library style environment. The coffee from KARO (my favourite BKK cafe) and music is always SPOT ON 👌 Loyle Carner album .. Old school hip hop - Nas.. usually I wear headphones when working but not here.

Food is nice, a little rich and there isn’t a large range especially if you want something healthy. I usually get the chicken pesto with toast but it is a little greasy. Nice for a treat but not if you want to go everyday.

The selection of books are great and the fresh breeze .. perfection.

My main critism is that there is not refillable water available, the menu is limited and the prices are quite high.

I had their dirty coffee one hangover Sunday and omg .. delicious. Thick creamy and sweet. Yum.

5 stars ⭐️

Jacques Duquenne23.10.2026

This is not a working space anymore.

I needed a day of work during my stay in Bangkok, and read (old) reviews of this place.

When I arrived around 10. 4 people inside, but the music was already a little loud. It's after lunch it became total madness. There's a DJ playing LOUD music (you could feel the floor viabrating). And even when I went inside the "soundproof" cabin, it couldn't hold the music out enough. Only the AC was kept out of that box...

So if you are looking to eat in a rooftop restaurant (without views) with loud music, this is the place.

If you're looking to work. Find another place!

Lulu Lundt23.10.2026

After being rejected by Wework because they don’t offer daily/weekly Co-working-seats, we came across this place. Paper Plane Project is fantastic! Nice working environment, decent coffee and no freezing aircon - the windows are open and you can enjoy the natural breeze of a skyscraper. Love it!

HUNGRY MHOOTOON23.10.2026

Nice workplace vibe with some good foods but not so ideal for a real working situation. Came here at noon to work and realized that all AC were off. Sweat and couldn’t work. Bangkok temperature in the middle of the day, top floor high-rise building, is no joke.
