Pebble Bucharest

One of my favorite coffee spots in central Bucharest. It’s just a two-minute walk from Piața Romană metro station, so it’s also a great spot to save if you’re visiting the city.

The specialty coffee is genuinely very good, but what really makes the place stand out is the service. Every barista I’ve interacted with has been friendly, smiling, helpful and genuinely happy to recommend something or have a chat.

It’s also one of those rare cafés that works equally well for different kinds of days. You can bring your laptop and work for a few hours without struggling with loud music or constant noise, but you can just as easily come here on the weekend with a few friends and have a proper conversation.

The music is always at that sweet spot where there’s enough atmosphere without becoming distracting.

So whether you’re a local looking for a good coffee and a comfortable place to work, or a tourist exploring Bucharest and looking for a genuinely nice specialty coffee spot near Piața Romană, I highly recommend it. ☕️
