Ryoku Cafe

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Ryoku Cafe, nestled in the bustling Sukhumvit 35 area of Bangkok, and I must say, it offered a delightful escape from the city's vibrant energy. This isn't your typical tourist trap; it felt like a genuine local spot with a focus on quality and a relaxed atmosphere.
Stepping into Ryoku felt like entering a tranquil garden. The cafe boasts a charming, minimalist white decor that's beautifully complemented by lush greenery both inside and out. It genuinely felt like a little oasis, a perfect spot to unwind. I noticed quite a few people seemed to be locals, some catching up with friends, others working quietly on their laptops – a testament to the cafe's comfortable vibe.
While the ambiance was certainly a highlight, the food and drinks were equally impressive. I decided to try their egg Benedict poached on thier japanese bunns signature and they lived up to the hype. Light, airy, and incredibly fluffy, they practically melted in my mouth. I opted tiramisu for a dessert which was a lovely combination of savory and delicate flavors, a nice departure from the usual sweet pancakes. The portion was generous too, making it a satisfying brunch option.
I also enjoyed coffee a smooth latte. They have a good selection of both coffee and non-coffee beverages, catering to various tastes.
The service at Ryoku was also noteworthy. The staff were attentive, friendly, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. They were efficient without being intrusive, allowing us to enjoy our meal and conversation at our own pace.
The prices were perhaps a little higher than some other cafes in the area, but considering the quality of the food, the pleasant ambiance, and the location in a relatively upscale part of Sukhumvit, I felt it was reasonable.
Overall, my experience at Ryoku Cafe was a very positive one. It's a charming spot with delicious food and drinks, a relaxing atmosphere, and friendly service. It felt like a genuine neighborhood gem, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and satisfying cafe experience in Bangkok. It’s a place I’d happily return to.

Absolutely unreal place!

It’s really comfortable, plenty of seating with plug points and wifi in case you’re planning to sit here for a while and get some work done :)

The pancakes are absolutely delicious, the people are super friendly and welcoming, the music is just the right volume.

10/10 don’t miss out on this place when in Bangkok!

Adorable homey cafe ! Love the interior decoration full of flowers 🌺Their signatures are pancakes, extremely fluffy ! They appear in both desserts and lunch/brunch plates. If you plan to bring some work to do here with your laptop, there are reasonably enough power plugs available.

This cafe just became my favorite cafe to work from in Bangkok. First of all, the atmosphere is perfect. It's a little Oasis - super central, but chill and quiet, surrounded by greenery. It doesn't feel like you're in the heart of Bangkok. There are so many tables to work from with charging ports. The food and drinks are all delicious. The toilets are always clean, so is the kitchen (you can easily see into the kitchen, it's spotless). The wifi is good. I can't really fault it. I specifically recommend the Cubano sandwich, the smoked salmon toast, and honestly any of the pancakes you can't go wrong with. They are so light and fluffy. I can't wait to go back and try more, I wish I had discovered this place sooner!

Another peaceful hidden gem with delicious food and drinks, lovely staff and a cute garden. I will spend the day here working and trying mode food and drinks hehehe

I only found out there was a service charge when I checked the bill. The service wasn't worth the charge. The atmosphere was okay; most people were working or chatting. It's more of a working space than a cafe for people who want to relax in the air conditioning, but it's quite noisy 🥹
The drinks and desserts were delicious. The shop is quite noisy because there are a lot of people having business meetings.

The shop is located at the end of Sukhumvit Soi 35. It's decorated with flowers and cat figurines, but it's not a cat cafe. Pets are allowed. There's parking available, the space is spacious, there are many photo opportunities, the restrooms are clean, and there's wifi. They offer oat milk, almond milk, and soy milk. It's a nice place to work or have business meetings. I saw many people working and having meetings there on a Saturday. (Personally, I found the pancakes a little too rich.)

I've been to this cafe twice now.
Atmosphere 👍🏻 is great. Dog-friendly (you can bring your dog).
Pancakes 👍🏻 are amazing.
