This place is lit, up to date, free wifi, avarage price
The wifi is not really fast but okay
Bad service. The wifi is not good,
A good hangout spot for people of all ages, from students to families. Silol blends a modern concept with a classic touch, creating a cozy atmosphere ideal for both relaxing and working. The menu offers a wide selection of food and drinks, including specialty coffee, hearty meals, and snacks. While the flavors are enjoyable, none stand out as particularly unique. The space is expansive, featuring both indoor and outdoor seating. Stylish decor paired with calming background music enhances the overall experience. Prices are reasonable, considering the concept and ambiance. However, it tends to get crowded, especially on weekends, making it less ideal for those seeking a quiet setting.
Silol Kopi & Eatery is a quite nice place to hang out in Kotabaru.
The foods are ok. They messed my order up, but they then fixed it quickly. Their drinks are delicious and very refreshing! From all menu I ordered, my favourite is the fruit soup. It has avocado juice as the base and lots of fruits in it (e.g. kiwi, mango, strawberry dragon fruit, etc).
It has a very wide seating place (3 floors total!) and wide parking space. Music concert is available every day. wifi is also available (see username and password on the cashier). It has a mushalla on the second floor. Its toilets are also clean!
I guess they have live music every night, even on weekdays. Definitely not the right place to do your assignment, too loud and the wifi connection is pretty slow. But the place is kinda huge with a lot of table
The atmosphere at this cafe is great—cozy, stylish, and perfect for relaxing or working. The staff is friendly and attentive, offering excellent service. However, the food is a bit underwhelming. While it’s not bad, it doesn’t stand out, and the portions are smaller than expected for the price. Overall, it’s a nice spot for hanging out, but the food could definitely be better.
Foods were ok. Place was huge. Provide wifi
Having coffee in the morning, brief meeting with group teamwork in high ceiling VIP Room or breath fresh air on the open air second level , enjoy the collection of automotive vehicle Harley . Here it is the SILOL Coffee and Eatery, right in front of bookstore Toga Mas where the heart og Jogja Education city Kotabaru.
Free wifi,, smoking and jon smoking space, cozy and vintage vibes, convenience parking here.
A great place to chill and hang out in the heart of Yogyakarta! The café is huge, nicely decorated, and open 24 hours — perfect for late-night coffee or catching up with friends. The vibe is lively, with good music and friendly staff.
They serve various coffee, snacks, and local dishes. The food is decent, but what really makes this place special is the atmosphere — cozy yet energetic, with live music on some nights and plenty of seating for groups.
It can get a bit crowded and noisy in the evenings, but that’s part of its charm. If you come earlier in the day, it’s more relaxed and great for working or just enjoying a cup of coffee.
Overall, an awesome hangout spot for locals and tourists alike. Would definitely come back!
1. place: good interior design, simple and modern look but not good place to do something with book and laptop
2. beverage (green tea): too sweet for me even without adding sugar, too light green tea
3. food: french fries not served in hot condition (in the original version and in the beef slice version) nasi goreng pedas had good taste and I like it because it was really spicy, but if you didn't like too much msg I think you better not order this menu. The most delicious food I've order was tempe mendoan, served in hot condition with sambal kecap.
4. price: medium to high
5. service: not good, the waiter ask me to pay for the bill earlier even me and my friend still chatting (I was there at 6.40 pm, ordered snack and beverage, at 7.40 my friend joined me and ordered food, at 8.11 first food coming, then 8.20 the other coming, and then at 8.50 the waiter came) what do you think? O yeah, maybe because it is valentine day there were waiting list there so they ask me to go. But I think it was so rude. the good service from this place is the parking service, maybe the waiter should be changed with the parking lot service.
A nice working space if you would like to concentrate working on tight deadlines, a comfortable meeting spot with a potential client, an instagrammable cafe with a retro designed atmosphere. The drink offers and foods are various tasty.
Recommend for a big gathering. Very big place and a lot of tables here. Food and drink both are starting from really cheap price (IDR 5K) and you get a normal portion which is not too big and too small.
There's wifi access as well but I haven't tried it yet since I only came here to gather with my friend.
This is just big feedback for the owner, this is big caffe right in Yogyakarta? Okay, the food is quite good, the atmosphere is nice but please be aware that the internet access is worse, especially this is one of 24 hours caffe in Yogyakarta…
So, I would say big no if you guys looking for working or study purposes… pls be mind!
Exterior and interior looks awesome. It looks cool for those who seek for a place to take photos. Visitors can choose semi outdoor or indoor table. The building design kind of creates expectation for the food and service.
The chairs are inspired from vintage sewing machine. It looks cool, but feels a bit uncomfortable because the material used is hard and heavy. Not recommended for those who need quiet and comfortable place for working. The place is quite noisy and not so cozy for working. However it might be a good choice to have lunch with friends and colleagues.
The food taste is so-so. The coffee is so-so. They don't serve the coffee and sugar separated.
24 hours open. They have live music everyday. Foods are quite nice. The concept of the cafe is awesome. You can see old radios, televisions and cars. This place is highly recomendded for people who loves to hangout with friends. wifi available. There is boutique named Luna Habit by Luna Maya. The services are not really fast, quite takes a long time. Waitress are friendly.
Great place to hang out. Free wifi and open 24 hours
Good place for hanging out with your friends or just want to take "me time". This cafe provide free wifi, so if you want to do some works, you can still connected with internet in this place, ask the waiters for the password. The reason why I don't give 5 stars was because it took more than 15 minutes to get my order completed.
Tried this place and was filled with excitement walking in. It looks amazing.....until we sat down and realized it was a nightmare.
Food took over 30 mins to arrive. Came cold and didn't look like what I ordered.
My friend and I asked to get our food reheated and after 10 mins wait the waiter returned with mine. Another 20 mins later they returned with my friends (a plate of chips). They also forgot to bring my other friends second drink.
Noticed the staff would leave food waiting to be served to help out their other staff members to clean tables. But having experienced working in a busy restaurant in Sydney for 3 years I know that serving food hot is priority number 1! Especially when there are more empty tables than there are people waiting.
Who ever trained or hired this group of staff needs some more training themselves. Terrible workers. Untrained and unmotivated.
I do hope this place gets better considering the amount of time and money spent on the land. Because at this rate this restaurant won't last.
I will give 5 stars if you fix your toilet (when I want to pee it's seems so dirty. Ew! So yucky! Lot of scratches in the surface of🚽 and THERE'S NO TISSUE, the tissue was empty and THERE'S NO WATER!!! bcz the servant said that it was under the maintenance. If you really care of the costumers U CAN PUT A NOTE THERE and don't let the costumers come in to the toilet or wash their hand at the sinker if the water is under the maintenance!!? You really trapped your costumers if you did so!!! What the heck is it, it takes so long for me waiting for the water and I can't wash mine when I pee!!!!! My hand full of soap after pee but again n again THERE'S NO WATER. CAN U IMAGINE THAT?
MY BAD EXPERIENCE EVER IS IN THIS PLACE! You turn my day so badly!
Then, for the place to do ritual ablution it supposed to be divided into two. For men and women (there's no different place for women and men, it's not good. Women have an aurat and it must be covered, we cant take ritual ablution in the same place with the men!!). That was so bad!!!
The place isn't good for working. It's too noisy. The chair isn't comfortable because it used from hard materials. The French fries is not good at all (WHY YOUR SERVANT DIDN'T ASK ME FOR THE FLAVOUR???? when it comes unfortunately my French fries have a lot of chilli there!!! It was so hot. I'm not order for that hot French fries but why u give me that???!! U have to ask me first before u make it and give lot of chilli there. Moreover, the beverage is just so so and nothing special.
The internet isn’t working. So if you like to get some things done with a nice coffee that won’t work out. But if you just like to sit and to enjoy your coffee then this is a good place.
Free wifi. Affordable price. Taste is ok thou. Not so delicious. Just average. Place is not too busy during the day on weekdays.
This 24 hours coffee shop is perfect for working at your time choice of mood. Lot of tables and convenient location at the center of the town.
Bad service, they said they have a good coffee but it's totally wrong! what' s good just it's so spacy and the wifi works good.
Nice place, but should be attetion for the wifi speed
At 6 a.m. from the station, I headed straight here because it's open 24 hours. I tried the Potato Cream Soup, but it ended up being like mashed potatoes. The taste was just so-so. I had some tea while I was online. The Wi-Fi was pretty fast. It was really fun waiting for my mom, especially since there were some rare cars.
Silol is very busy and popular because, in my opinion, there are many contributing factors, such as its spacious, multi-story space, live music that attracts a lot of people, ample Wi-Fi access and power outlets, a unique and photogenic layout, etc. Silol is a great place to socialize, hang out, and have fun with friends.
I think the service is decent. Because it's busy, sometimes food takes a long time to be delivered or is forgotten. I hope Silol will address this and manage this. Because it's crowded and chaotic, I found the staff to be a bit unfriendly, but that's okay. Not friendly, but not rude, which is acceptable. It's okay not to get a smile, at least the food doesn't take too long to arrive, hehe.
The parking lot is spacious, and the bathrooms are quite clean. The place is mostly a smoking area, so even in the non-smoking area, you'll still smell or be exposed to cigarette smoke.
The prices are standard for a typical cafe. As for the taste, I found it average (neither great nor terrible). Shisha is sold here, and the shisha is quite clean and hygienic (the pipes are brand new, still sealed in plastic).
Silol is a great place to hang out, but if you're not a fan of crowds, you might want to try another place.
This old cafe in downtown Jogja, Kotabaru, is still bustling today thanks to its spacious space and nightly music concerts. I went here just for drinks with friends, amidst the bustling city atmosphere. The staff are friendly and numerous on each floor, making it a great place to hang out. The menu is also varied, with coffee, juices, hot drinks, main courses, snacks, and desserts—complete and a great place to hang out with friends and family. It has a unique cafe and bar vibe. Free Wi-Fi is also available. There's a fully air-conditioned space and an outdoor area upstairs. It's always busy on weekends. The prices are also standard, not expensive.
A 24-hour cafe in Yogyakarta has recently become a hit, located in the city center. SiLoL Kopi & Eatery officially opened on December 16, 2017.
Although relatively new, the cafe, which was built in March 2017, has already begun to attract visitors, both coffee lovers and those simply looking to hang out and enjoy the atmosphere.
SiLOL itself is derived from the Javanese slang term "confused." The correct spelling is "silul," but for ease of remembering, the name "SiLOL" was chosen. This cafe is under the same management as Ling Lung.
Located at Jalan Suroto No. 7, Kotabaru, the cafe is divided into three sections: the ground floor, which includes a VIP (no smoking) room, a music room, and a Harley showroom. The second floor features a spacious smoking area. Finally, the third floor, or rooftop, offers panoramic views of Yogyakarta.
What's captivating about this place is its interior design. Antiques and antiques adorn every corner. Upon entering SiLOL, you're greeted by a vintage car and a Vespa parked near the entrance. There's also a vintage radio neatly arranged on the wall of the music room, as well as a flying car that appears to have flown through the wall.
Ascending to the second floor, you'll find a spacious room with neatly arranged chairs, along with an antique Vespa to the west. This floor is perfect for working on college assignments because it's less crowded than the lower floor.
The facilities here are comprehensive, including free Wi-Fi, a prayer room, a meeting room that can accommodate up to 100 people, ample parking, and easy access.
Roasted Robusta coffee is the signature dish here. The menu is varied, ranging from traditional to modern dishes. Rawon (Indonesian rawon), oxtail soup (soup oxtail), soto (Indonesian soto), and even modern dishes like steak and cream soup are available. Likewise, this place not only serves coffee but also offers traditional and contemporary drinks.
The food and drink menu prices are quite affordable. Food prices range from Rp 15,000 to Rp 185,000, while drinks start at Rp 15,000.
The service, honestly, is really slow. The drinks are also just so-so. The lasagna I ordered yesterday was incredibly salty, but the atmosphere is top-notch.
🖤🖤🖤 for the taste
🖤🖤🖤🖤 for the atmosphere
🖤🖤 🖤 for the service
Silol Coffee and Eatery is a cafe and coffee shop located at Jalan Suroto No. 7, Kotabaru, Yogyakarta. This cafe carries a concept on each floor. On the first floor there is a VIP room (no smoking), a Harley showroom, and a music performance room. On the second floor there is a spacious room where smoking is allowed. On the third floor, or rooftop, we can see the view of Yogyakarta city from above. The cafe is open 24 hours and has free Wi-Fi. The food is quite diverse, from steaks, burgers, gudeg rice, fried rice, and many more. For drinks, there are juices, milkshakes, various types of coffee, and much more. There are also desserts, cakes and pastries. For food and drink prices, some are standard and some are quite expensive. Parking is very difficult because there is no parking lot and must park on the side of Jalan Sabirin. The food and drinks are quite delicious and want to return there.
There are a few things I can share. First, the food I ordered was delicious and the portions were just right.
Second, coincidentally, today, January 20, 2024, there was an event in the Meeting Room. Unfortunately, the power outlets/current were limited, meaning you had to ask for a terminal first, which made things messy. It would have been nice to have outlets at every few tables to accommodate more people.
Third, the atmosphere was pleasant, but it was a shame that the power went out several times, which hampered the event, and it happened more than once.
It's also recommended to have a dedicated Wi-Fi signal for the meeting room or separate it from other guests, because it seems like the only Wi-Fi I had was public Wi-Fi.
Overall, it's probably okay, but not great. It's okay for hanging out, but not for meetings.
The highlight of this cafe is its comfortable, spacious, and aesthetic place, with many choices of rooms. You can choose dark, bright, air-conditioned, or non-air-conditioned, there is a smoking area, and there are 3 floors both indoor and outdoor. It's great for meetings, working on assignments, or just for eating and chatting. The wifi is quite fast, especially when it's quiet. The toilets are clean, there are highchairs for babies, and there are power outlets everywhere (they also provide cable terminals if needed). Some rooms have been set up as meeting rooms (there are microphones and flat TVs). There's also a motorcycle exhibition next to it (I don't know what it is) for those who like to take photos. The service is quite friendly, the food is quite good (although the taste didn't meet my expectations😂), it's quite pricey but affordable. Parking is no problem, it can accommodate up to 20 cars. Recommended 👍
This cafe is spacious, so you don't have to worry about running out of seats. The atmosphere is very comfortable for working on assignments or getting work done, and the Wi-Fi is good. The service is also great, and there's a prayer room. It's really comfortable!
The place is very spacious, perfect for meeting up with a large group of friends. The waiters are friendly. The only problem is that I found the sunlight a bit harsh when I was on the second floor when I opened my laptop.
The place is charming and Instagrammable. The food is mediocre, tending towards underwhelming. I ordered spaghetti aglio olio, and the portion was only 6 tablespoons. Ouch! I was still hungry.
There's Wi-Fi. There's an upstairs and downstairs area. The place is very spacious, but it doesn't feel homey. It's not warm.
This place is very attractive, with lots of space, a cool concept with a beautiful and unique interior, and lots of cars, motorcycles, and more. It's a great place to take photos.
The service is also good, with good Wi-Fi, clean restrooms, and ample parking.
The menu is standard, and the prices are also standard cafe fare.
24-hour cafe. Live music. wifi. Standard prices. The place is comfortable and very crowded. But the upper stage is a bit stuffy because there are no fans/blowers, haha. The food is okay. It's good for hanging out. But if you're doing assignments, it's too noisy.
A perfect place to hang out with friends. Open 24 hours. There is a non-smoking room too. The theme of each room is based on the concept of places in Jogja, so it feels more typical of Jogja. Make the prices here quite affordable. Free wifi, so it's also suitable for those of you who want to work on assignments, have deadlines until the morning.
Place: 5/5
Service: 5/5
Price: 4/5
Taste: 5/5
(+) My first impression when I arrived was how spacious the place was! There were plenty of seats available. They were comfortable, and you could choose any seat and any room. The building had a classic vibe, making it a great photo spot. The service was fast and friendly. There was live music every night, which was really fun. Wi-Fi was available and fast enough for doing assignments.
(-) The lighting was a bit dim in some rooms. The prices were quite pricey, but the menu was still affordable.
Still a recommended place for a fun hangout.
The Magelangan rice is delicious, the spices are delicious, the ginger milk is quite good, but the ginger isn't that noticeable. The place is nice, the service is friendly... but the price is quite expensive hehe... But it's worth it, there's live music, wifi, and a private room.
I've been working on assignments here all day...
This place is open 24 hours...
Lots of power outlets... fast Wi-Fi... ample parking...
Friendly service...
I didn't have to wait too long for my order... it was fast...
The menu is varied... western food, Indonesian food, various coffees, prices range from 20,000 rupiah and up...
There are also special rooms, so if you want to have a meeting or group discussion, you can still be comfortable...
For working on assignments, reunions, waiting for someone, social gatherings, meetings, etc., Silol is highly recommended!
Cozy, varied menu, lots of photo spots, fast wifi even when it's quiet, recommended for those who want to have meetings or reunion gatherings.
The place is really cool.. the coffee is delicious especially while sitting on the rooftop.. maybe SILOL can add more original Indonesian coffee menus.. yesterday I ordered a Vietnamese drip.. awesome.. for those who like taking photos with antique but high-class items, this is also the place... open 24 hours.. free wifi.. so what are you waiting for...
The menu is comprehensive, from snacks to main courses. A wide variety of drinks are available, from coffee to wedang uwuh (a type of Indonesian drink). There's Wi-Fi and live music. Recommended!
The place is unique, spacious, and comfortable. A wide selection of food and drinks is available. Free Wi-Fi.
This cafe is a great place to hang out. The atmosphere is great, perfect for meeting up with old friends or your significant other. The food prices are reasonable. 😂 For a cafe like this, there's something cheap. 🤣. The facilities are complete, with restrooms and a prayer room on the second floor. The place is also quite spacious. The service is friendly and great. Oh, and for those looking for free Wi-Fi, there's also free Wi-Fi.
Sitting on the second floor while doing assignments, drinking a latte, and snacking on crispy mushrooms. The vibes are so good, and the quiet atmosphere makes it even better. The facilities are complete: Wi-Fi, restrooms, a smoking area on the second floor, and plenty of seating, so you can choose whichever you want. Bought a hazelnut latte for 24k and crispy mushrooms for 12k. Worth it.
It's a great place to hang out and hang out. Complete facilities, strategic location in the city center near Kridosono Stadium. Reasonably priced. Fast Wi-Fi. Even if you stay here all day, it's still comfortable. Overall, highly recommended!
The place is spacious and cozy, there is live music starting at 9 pm, food & drink prices start from 15 thousand, free wifi and recommended
The cafe is very spacious. It has three floors. There are smoking and non-smoking areas. The prayer room and bathrooms are clean. There's an air-conditioned room and meeting rooms too. The menu is extensive and varied. Free Wi-Fi. It's a perfect hangout for young people and students.
