Great quality and atmosphere. All sweets are delicious and they have a great variety of coffee for fanatics like me. All baristas, owner and cook are always with a smile in their faces without exception. Lovely place for kids too.

There are coffee shops and coffee shops. This is the better kind. And it’s been my favourite ever since they opened.

Community is what makes the good sort of cafe. Cafes bring people together, the drink is just a bonus. I’m the type that loves a little chat with the barista. Real, genuine conversation. With Alicja, Martyna, and anyone else here - that’s a guarantee.

As for the coffee - yes - it is absolutely splendid. Such attention to detail and yes, my flat white is always phenomenal. Every single time.

There are many cafes around Gdansk, but this one - it has all the charm of a local cafe spot, with staff always prepared for endless banter about the world. Plus, this is also the spot that’s equipped for families, and even a place to just get some work done away from the home office.

Fantastic place. It truly has everything you want in a cafe. And that’s a rarity these days. I’d give it six stars if I could.

Absolutely lovely and cozy place with great atmosphere. Perfect spot by nearby lakes and forest to enjoy during the sunny days, and stop by for a sip of tasteful coffee. Totally recommend visiting this beautiful coffee shop with nice selection of cakes and welcoming staff.

We didn't have time to take pictures of the ice cream because... it was way too good and disappeared faster than we could think about using our phone 😂🍦

Delicious coffee and carefully selected cakes are a delight for the palate, and Alicja, who greets everyone with a warm smile, is the icing on the cake. I've never encountered such a pleasant atmosphere in any other café. Every time I visit Szaszka, I feel like I'm dropping in for coffee with an old friend. The warmth she exudes is inimitable. I discovered Szaszka two months ago and I love this atmospheric place🫶🏼

My favorites are still the Basque cheesecake and the delicious hot chocolate. The Rolls always knock my socks off.

One of several cafes in the Jasień neighborhood. Located near the PKM (Polish Metro) and bus stops. Friendly, fast, and professional service. Good coffee. You can order it in brewing options other than the traditional espresso machine. They also offer ice cream and cakes. The interior is nicely decorated. There are also outdoor tables and a children's corner. It's simply a great place to enjoy a coffee in good company!

The greatest strength of this place is undoubtedly the owner, who has incredible energy and knows how to make everyone feel wonderfully welcome, almost like home. The place itself is incredibly atmospheric, and its location on Wróbla Pond creates a wonderful, relaxing vibe (the perfect reset for your mind). You can also treat yourself to a delicious brownie and fantastic coffee. If you're looking for a place with true soul and atmosphere, you've come to the right place. See you in Szaszek! ☕

From the moment you walk in, you sense something more than the aroma of coffee beans—you sense an atmosphere created by people who truly enjoy what they do. The coffee? Delicious. But that's not the main focus here. It's the feeling that someone took care of you before you even asked.

I love this place for the little things: the cup that feels good in your hand. The cake that tastes heavenly. The conversation at the counter, if you're in the mood. Or the silence—if you prefer to just be there.

It's one of those cafes where you can take a breather and simply feel good.

A great place. Delicious specialty coffee from reputable roasters and fantastic ice cream. The baked goods looked wonderful, but I haven't tried them (yet). There's not much space inside, but in the summer you can chill outside, at a table or on a lounger. The girls behind the bar are very nice. I live in a completely different part of Gdańsk, but I'll definitely be dropping by on my walks and maybe even take advantage of the wide range of events. I'm glad I found this place.

Five stars is definitely not enough to rate this place. You come back here not only for coffee or a delicious cake, but also to chat with the owner (who easily goes by "You") and joke with the staff. A great option is the ability to order cake for a family gathering and surprise guests with a new baked good (brownies, Basque cheesecake, tarts, not to mention doughnuts and cakes). The children's corner is a definite plus, with games that engage not only children but adults as well. We're happy to return, and we will continue to do so.

Friendly staff, easy to chat with 🙂 The ice cream is very good, so natural. The atmosphere is wonderful, it's tempting to sit down for a while and read the available books.

The coffee is refreshing, the pastries will definitely spoil any diet, and Mrs. Alicja creates a wonderful atmosphere. It's a great place, and we'll gladly return with the whole family because even the kids feel at home there :)

A wonderful place with delicious food 😌 there's a toddler corner, which our son loves. There are also Portuguese accents for those who are observant 😎 I highly recommend it for its friendly and peaceful atmosphere.

We come here regularly with my partner and our son, who has a profound disability. I emphasize my son's disability because there are few places where he feels relaxed, happy, and safe. Szach Cafe is that place for him. And for me, it's the place with the best coffee in the Tricity (and I'm a very picky coffee lover ;)), with delicious homemade pastries (the best cinnamon rolls in the Tricity, the absolutely perfect Basque cheesecake, and much more). The atmosphere here is absolutely unique. The owner is a world-famous friend. She's created a place where you can play chess, read books, and even have a play area for children. And there's great music. And that coffee!!! I highly recommend it. Szach Cafe is a new cult spot on the Tricity map. It's worth a visit and seeing for yourself!

A truly atmospheric specialty coffee spot on the map of Gdańsk! A big plus for the parking lot next door, the incredible view, and most importantly, the delicious coffee (the espresso with rhubarb tonic is a masterpiece!) Plus, the vegan options on the menu are a plus! I hope I can grab a vegan cake next time!

And when it comes to addressing customers, they always say "Mr." or "Ms." before their name. So there's respect 💪

Delicious espresso. Very friendly service. Good ice cream, and there were also interesting vegan options, which pleased me. The matcha on ice was average, but drinkable ;)
