Tenfold Coffee Company

Tenfold is one of my go to spots in Houston. From the extremely kind baristas and roasters who work there to the lovely atmosphere, this is a great place to meet someone on a date, for a quick coffee, or a great spot to do some work.

The coffee itself is also excellent - one of my favorite things about Tenfold is that they are a roaster and typically rotate their single origin espresso almost daily, which, if you like espresso, is such a cool opportunity to try new things. Often at least one of the roasters will be in the shop and can tell you about the tasting notes if you’re interested, too.

Additionally they serve pastries from Just Croissants, a local bakery, which you NEED to try - they are the best in the city and maybe of all time.

A few notes for visitors -

Tenfold is BUSY! Especially on weekends. Remember how I said this is a good place to meet people? Everyone in the heights knows it 🤣 when you go in be prepared to wait a little bit and give the staff a moment as they’re usually battling quite a line. If you are going and looking for a seat, again, just be prepared to wait.

Last note - charging a laptop? The back row of single seats typically has at least one outlet available but the rest of the place does not. The single seats at the bar do also have outlets but they’re bar seating!

wifi is spotty but is free - I sometimes have to use my hotspot!

Best coffee and coffee shop in town! A wonderful place to work remotely also!

Great place to work, catch up with a friend or go for a coffee date. Flavorful and strong coffee. Bright, serene atmosphere. Plenty of parking in the lot. They offer barista lessons and coffee tasting events. Cool place all around.

Great place, but unstable, unreliable wifi. Could not perform basic web browsing as the internet kept disconnecting. Not recommended if you are looking for a place to work.

Fantastic spot for a nice cup of coffee. The ambiance is modern & the staffs are friendly. The wifi is fast & reliable. Perfect for a Wednesday afternoon.

Strong wifi, good pastries, good coffee (with alternative milks), and great vibe.
4 starts unfortunately due to the price! A bit pricey for me.
They do roast their coffee in house, which is a nice plus.
Music was a bit loud for my preference, but wifi was so strong it helps just about everything else.

Great coffee and pastries, awesome service, and really nice interior design. wifi is good, but barely reaches the patio. Only wish they had more savory snacks/pastries, as opposed to only sweet ones. Follow their Instagram so you can find out when they have one of their cool pop ups.

Honestly a great spot. Good wifi, good coffee but the service was iffy. I brought my finished cup up to the counter because I didn’t know about the station to put used cups at. (There should be a sign or a verbal notice about this) so I understand why the staff seemed kinda frustrated when we brought it up to them. They were in the middle of a rush so being a barista myself I understand the feeling so I won’t hold it against them at all. Good service too. My girlfriend didn’t like her first drink and they changed it almost immediately for free. The only complaint I have is all the flies in the shop but what can one do. The shop itself is beautiful and I can tell the workers are very serious about what they do and they do it well!

This is a nice coffee shop (in the heights area) to come to for studying, working, or just to hang out with friends! There is free wifi! There’s a variety of spaces to sit at. There’s some tables, a bar area, and another spot close to the wall. There’s some chairs outside too. The owners support small businesses as far as where the coffee beans come from and I think that’s an awesome mission to have. I ordered an iced matcha latte with agave and oatmilk on my visit. There’s a decent amount of parking spots in the lot.

Very nice place. However it gets really crowed. The work from home geeks have taken over the place. But you know well heck I fit right in

Really good coffee! The coffee shop is very quaint and aesthetic with wooden interior and floor to ceiling glass windows. A good place with be cozy with a book or work.

Go for the pour overs and the beans. We did three pour overs and they were well made and superb quality coffee. The plants are cool too. There's not a lot of seating as 95% of the seats are people planted with their laptops.

Love this place! Stunning coffee, great interiors, and always consistent wifi! Not a ton of seating, but the everything else is wonderful it doesn’t really bother me. They even deliver your order to your table which isn’t typical for coffeeshops. Love it here!

Coffee was yummy, syrup selection is a little limited. They have lots of seating indoors as well as a nice covered patio. The wifi signal was very poor, so not great for working. It was very busy when we came around 1 pm, almost all of the seating was filled. Very large parking lot. They also do coffee classes and roast their own beans! The pastries looked very good too!

- Chairs are not the most comfy for staying a while
- If you have a low car, you have to park in the street or you will scrape your bumper

Been checking out a bunch of coffee shops around Houston and really like Tenfold. Open space concept, they grind their own coffee with this really big machine. You can also buy their coffee in house along with other products. Free smells, they also offer baked goods in addition to coffee and tea. Lots of huge plants and floral arrangements. Feel like I’m in nature. Spread out atmosphere with plenty of tables for larger groups and small little one person table booths. They serve beer and wine too plus they have a Happy Hour with various HH specials. Complimentary wifi available. Staff is very kind and chipper. Cool spot to check out if you’re in the Heights.

The atmosphere here is cozy and welcoming! This is a great place to bring your laptop and get some work done from the environment to the strong coffee they provide. Definitely worth a try!
