Better than last time, food better, coffee better, cafe improved, most table can do work and a lot power plug for laptop, have 2 shoplot. Very cozy and also can focus on work. Staff here friendly too. The nasi lemak is simple and yet delicious. Coffee here is good got optionn for medium coffee or dark coffee. A big plus point is that those stress do work here, they can sit massage 💆‍♀️ 💆‍♂️ chair by expensive brand Zero.

Tiny space. Limited food selection for breakfast. There is no card machine, but it accepts payment by cash & apps as such QR, boost & grabs only. Food & drink taste good with cute decorations. They provide a wifi password. The toilet is clean.

Got UniFi, can bring your laptop and do assignment here. The coffee was delicious. The price ok2 lah, Rm20 u get a cup of coffee only. Bring Rm50 if u want to order the dessert n a cup of kupi. Staff friendly. Love the ambiance here. Toilet is clean👌.

New 5 stars coffee shop in town

I used to love the vibe at 1985 Coffee, the environment, music, and service were all great. However, I’ve noticed some changes recently, particularly with the staff. While their service is still okay, it doesn't quite match the high standard set by the previous team. The new staff tend to chat and even laugh loudly behind the counter, which can be distracting.

The music selection has also changed, and unfortunately, it’s not as appealing as before. They often play rap or Malay songs, which isn’t an issue in itself, but the staff singing along loudly is a bit unprofessional and disrupts the atmosphere.

I’ve tried going to "The Living Room," but it’s not ideal for working with a laptop. The seating there is either on sofas, which are comfortable but not suitable for work, or at long tables, which can feel awkward when sitting alone.

Despite these issues, I still prefer 1985 Coffee because they offer more suitable tables for working. Additionally, the food has actually improved, there’s a wider selection now, and everything tastes more delicious than before. I just hope the staff can improve their work ethic to match the excellent service I experienced in the past, which made the place truly comfortable for customers.

The lattes was smooth! Unlike a few coffee places that we've been to, the coffee was brewed and milk steamed without 'burning'. The microfoam layer was just right with crisp latte art. Oh, they had wifi too!

Found this cozy little spot with a really nice industrial-chic vibe—love the raw concrete walls and warm lighting. They’ve got a great mix of comfortable seating, from regular tables to cozy couches and even lounge chairs. Ordered some iced drinks and a slice of burnt cheesecake, and everything tasted spot on. Super chill place to hang out, unwind, or catch up with friends!
