Über The Mill

Great atmosphere, you can see a lot of different people. Great for working on your laptop and studying. Amazing drinks and service.
Very good coffee and bread, great vibe for work, somewhat pricey
We visited the Mill on a Tuesday and really liked the coffee, service and the ambience! It’s really spacious and seems ideal for coffeeshop working. They also had lots of great looking bread loaves and toasts we want to come back to try.
Beautiful coffee shop! So full on a Saturday morning - definitely coming back to work from here
genuinely dont know why this place is so packed all the time. No wifi, no power plug ins, expensive food. Hotspot or Starlink a requirement for everyone working there which is so weird to me. Tables are small and round except for the one long table
Not a place to work in. No electricity plugs no internet and very loud. A very good place for hang out though
Cute place with friendly but possibly overworked staff. So overrun by groups of people working together on laptops on a beautiful Saturday (!!!) morning (!!!) that it was hard to relax; impossible to find a seat, yes, but also just not the vibe I was looking for on a Saturday! Coffee was great, pastries were ok (skip the poppyseed-chocolate babka; very bitter & the flavors don’t go together)
What a great spot any time. They make their own flour and all their sourdough is first rate. Everyone working in harmony.
I love this place. The prices are on the higher side but the atmosphere is wonderful. They always have music playing, the staff are very pleasant and radiate a good energy. One can watch them do some baking in the back of the room, they also offer baking classes. There is a crowd of regulars here that know each other, a creative and friendly community. A lot of people seem to come here to study/work or work on art. Especially their espresso is remarkable.
“Great place for working on laptop”
No wifi, no power outlets. Gentrified and sterile, staff that look at you funny when you ask questions.
Nice place to enjoy good coffee. Environment is good. However this place doesn't have wifi.
Nice spot for coffee! But no wifi,no outlets,no dogs
The cafe has awesome natural light and spacious interior. They do not have wifi ! Coffee was okay . I ordered an americano and it was kinda weaaaakkkk.
Sweet staff 🫶🏽
Great drinks, tasty bread, super friendly staff. No wifi, somewhat intense music.
No wifi. I would stayed longer and spend more money if it was available. The food was delicious and had fast service.
Great place. many people work there on laptops. delicious food and drinks. There is free water, and if you come with your own mug, they give you a discount on the drink. For meetings to talk it was a little noisy. but you can sit outside
There are two great parts to The Mill… the bread (which is very artisanal and nice), and the ambiance. There’s so much natural light and it’s an amazing place to write or catch up with friends. The coffee is pretty good, of course overpriced but it’s SF so what do you expect?? The highlight is definitely the toast! Yeah it’s $$ but it’s also pretty filling and delicious, always. The baristas are always friendly. It’s located on Divis so it can be a little noisy to get work done (also no wifi for better or for worse). Kind of annoying that so many digital nomads take over the space by hotspotting their laptops…
Typical chic cafe. The coffee is good and the toasts they have also quite nice. The price was expensive for the food you eat but it seems to be on the same price level as the rest of the area.
They have no wifi, which was a bit suprising as it was filled with people with laptops. And the staff is not that nice. :C
I would recommended if you are looking for a small bite around The Painted Ladies.
Old fashioned coffee shop with no wifi, no reservations, and no non-service dogs allowed. Just the most inventive treats to go along with their standard coffees menu. We went for the Trout on Toast and the Egg in the Hole.
This place is dog-friendly. A nice place to post up with a laptop for an hour and seek funding for your startup.
This is exactly why people make fun of us younger generations for overpriced avocado toast. $15 for one piece of bread is ridiculous. Airport prices in the real world.
Not enough seating, filled with hipsters on laptops.
Coffee was amazing.
