Zusätzlich leitet Vanessa auch HVAC of Puerto Rico und HVAC of USA.

Dlb
Cute, Puerto Rican female owned coffee shop. Free wifi. Digital menu. Good for studying or focusing on remote work.
horrible customer service, wifi wasn’t working and they didn’t have any paper menus. the cashier taking the orders took about 10 minutes to take 1 persons order while they decided what they wanted completely ignoring the line waiting during lunch time ended up having to leave to eat somewhere else since it was impossible to even place an order
After checking this place out on Instagram for several months we decided to go and this was our experience:
- The place itself is very cute. The decoration is very nice.
- The ordering dynamic is a little confusing. You can order online or you can make the line to order your food. Either way, you will have to go and get your food at the pick up window whenever is ready.
- The area doesn't have the best phone reception so they have free wifi. The password is on a relatively small sign on the wall by trash cans. It took me a while to find it.
- The menu is not anywhere on the wall and they don't have paper menus. If you want to find out what they have you have to scan the tiny QR code they have by the hostess booth or on the tables.
- We ordered online and it was a big mistake. Apparently the online orders take about 15 minutes to appear in their system.
- There was no staff cleaning the tables after they were used so we had to do it ourselves. No big deal but they were out of napkins.
- I ordered eggs over medium and they were over hard. It was also cold. The toast was good but also cold. Too bad because tostadas criollas are always yummy but only if they are warm.
- My husband ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich and it was also cold. In addition the croissant itself was hard. The texture made it feel like it was not fresh.
- My son ordered the pancakes and he liked them. The presentation was great and the fruit looked awesome.
- The kid's pancakes looked really nice and my daughter really liked them.
- We also ordered lattes and a macchiato. The lattes looked amazing with the Nutella. The macchiato was good in flavor but we ordered a double shot and it definitely looked and tasted like a single one.
- The natural OJ was really good but the price was a little steep, in my opinion.
- The quesitos had very little cheese inside but tasted good.
- The warm cinnamon roll was good.
In conclusion, we spent almost $100 in breakfast today and will probably not return. Too bad because we live in the area.
Updated February 2nd 2023 - It's been 5 months, and I still haven't heard from anyone
No apology, no how can wr make it right, etc. This says a lot, and I am confident I did the right thing in leaving my review in the 1st place. Wow. Just wow.
I went this past Sunday, spent $85 (gave them a great tip) despite the horrible service. I gave it a one star because of the look of the cafe. It's really cute when you first walk in. However, from the moment of ordering to receiving the food was just horrible. We were so excited to have a great experience but it was quite the opposite. We walked in, And it took about 2 minutes for someone to finally ask us if it was our first time there. We said yes, and the lady told us to have a seat anywhere. She gave us the option of ordering online or standing in the line. There was somewhat a long line so we decided to order online. I was trying to look at the pictures of the food on Instagram, but their wifi wasn't working so unable to view from the comfort of my phone. I had horrible service so I needed their wifi. The lady told me I was putting the code incorrectly, but I wasn't. I showed her, and she didn't know what else could be wrong. She provided me with a mini tablet where I was able to order. No one really walked around to ask if we needed help. I must have gotten up 3-4 times to ask questions about their menu, recommendations, etc. It was a tad bit stressful, but the worse part was actually getting the food. I'm sorry but getting cold food is unacceptable. After deciding to write a review, I see others have had the same experience. My daughter's french toast and my potatoes and toast were cold! My daughter's father sandwich was also cold. I already had provided the tip prior when I ordered and gave them a good one. Had I tipped after, it would have been way less. There isn't really much employee/customer interaction and the food is cold. Cute place but the service and food were bad. Save your money.
Looks nice inside, but actually really disappointed with it as a coffee shop. The prices are very high, and I’ve never experienced this before, they charged $.25 extra to put cream in my brewed coffee. It took 12 minutes for them to get me that cup of coffee, and while I waited, the wifi didn’t work.
Food is flavorful and large portions. Unfortunately the wifi is weak so pulling up their menu is impossible and they do not have paper menus currently
Great cappuccino and food! One of the best coffee shops to do some work in☕️👌🏽
If you are looking for a coffee shop with good food and peaceful atmosphere to work. This is the place to visit.
We are on vacation and we looked up a place to eat.. this place had a very good vibe to it, the coffee, the bakery and the menu look great..
The system and procedures they have is very good, they can handle volume.. and not sacrifice the motto of the business.
Service was pleasant and happy.
I believe the food sounds great on the menu
But I feel that was… “okay” nothing that made me wanna come back and eat something..
tho the plate presentation was Very nice ,clean and consistent.
I got the Cuban
And subbed potatoes for chips
Potatoes were cold to the core (and I know I could have asked to heat up but first impression is important) I am sure they would have accommodated without a problem with apologies to follow.. all good.
Cuban
Did not care for the bread
Weird chew and very bland,
not a ton of meat and also cold inside
Did it fill my belly?
Yes.. would I want another one.. no thank you..
Feel the same about everyone else’s food as well and it was mutual with the party..
Atmosphere was VERY cool
The lights, the colors, the coffee bean wall,
great job.
Bathroom was super messy tho
And trust me I know it’s tough to keep up on..
Maybe designate someone to check every half hour or so..
I believe they have a GREAT concept and I would just work on deeper flavor with the food again no disrespect at all.
Just my observation..
whatever you are doing it is obviously working
It was very busy.
Again just my review.. keep Rockin Out.
Great coffee, nice selection of pastries . Great environment, cool vibe . Nice ladies working . Wanna try the pancakes next time
Looking for an interview place, working place, or just for an hangout place?
I think Vanessa’s Coffee is one of the most convenient and spacious places to get more things done than just coffee.
I loved the way staff catered to my needs in addition to the taste of everything I got here.
You really couldn't ask for a better local coffee shop experience. I've known about Vanessa's Coffee for some time. However, it's only been the last two months or so that I began to visit more regularly. It has become my favorite location to sit and get work done on my laptop. The staff really makes the experience so welcoming. Camden, Anjolie, Bell, Sarah... too many to recount! Everyone is so pleasant and inviting. If you're looking for a cafe with great atmosphere, family owned, and proudly representative of their Christian faith, look no further! You won't be disappointed!
I really like Vanessa! Unfortunately the wifi has been broken the last 3 times I’ve been here. I enjoy having meetings here but can’t do so with no wifi and very little cell reception. Vanessa, I’d be more than happy to help you get your wifi fixed. We love local small business.
