Cozy place to hangout within campus area of UGM, Faculty of Forestry. Nuce ambiance, fast wifi 😆
Good food, setted for working space for academia. Most comfortable to enjoy the atmosphere before noon if you want the quieter surrounding.
such a great place to work or meeting but the ambience is very supporting to sleep with your laptop open 😅 since they have a shady place with thick trees. the foods are great but i had a little surprise in my meal. i had an musquito aka extra protein inside my food. i know that there are lots of musquito cuz this place is literally next to my faculty, but that cant be a reason to give the costumer a plate of food with extra musquito. apart from that, the food is great. but the ugm wifi is kinda slow. idk if this place has its own wifi or not. overall, it is a recommended place to wfa, do coursework, or even a meeting
One of the best spots in Jogjakarta. Place was super chill & calming, trees surround us are a plus point for sure.
Food was okay, price is standard. working from here is defo the best!! There’s a lot of sockets too!!
But when it’s raining, it got pretty scary, but overall it’s a good place to chill
Zomia Cafe & Co-working Space is located within the UGM Faculty of Forestry. Yes you read right, this cafe is in the campus area. Even so, anyone can visit this cafe, not only for the UGM academic community
My first impression when arriving at this cafe is quite cool , because the cafe is surrounded by shady trees. Maybe it's because it's located in the Faculty of Forestry, so the feel of this cafe is like being in a forest (lol). The cafe is divided into two areas: indoor and outdoor. In the indoor area, you can enjoy the available dishes or just have a casual coffee on the soft couch. They also provide some books to read. The interior is minimalist & surrounded by wide glass.
Moving to the outdoor area, you can sit back in the bean bag or do your work on the various chair provided. The atmosphere is quite cozy and comfortable. I came at 9 am and coincidentally at that time it was still quiet, there were only 5 students.
The menu offered is varied, ranging from coffee, non-coffee, tea, snacks, and meals. The price itself still relatively cheap for students. I ordered a blueberry smoothie for IDR 18.000. I think the taste is worth the price, not so good but not that bad.
The drawbacks of this cafe are: it seems they don't provide a prayer room, the toilets are difficult to find, and the parking access is a bit confusing. For wifi connectivity, you can use the wifi provided by UGM. I kind of forgot whether they provide their own wifi or not.
Definitely a hidden gem inside UGM campus grounds! Zomia Co-working space is a nice place to hang out with friends or work. The have lots of power outlets too.
They offer typical cafe menus. I once tried their Zomia English Breakfast, Mojito Squash, and Chocolate Milk Based. The Zomia English Breakfast tastes good, the mix vegetables tastes savoury. The Mojito Squash is very refreshing albeit being a little too sweet. Meanwhile, the Chocolate Milk Based is also good and quite thick. Their cookies are also thick and chewy. One downside of the drinks offered by Zomia is that the portions are relatively small.
There are indoor and outdoor seating areas in Zomia Co-working Space. Indoor seating area is equipped with AC and I prefer sitting indoor as it is mosquito-free. Zomia also offers several books you can read on the spot.

I've always heard that there is a coffee shop-working in the forestry faculty but never got around to trying it. Finally we tried it! The concept follows its location in the forestry faculty, of course identical to parks and greenery, consisting of indoor and outdoor which are dominant, clean, good service, friendly baristas and staff, smooth wifi. For disabled access is difficult cause there are several stairs and it's narrow except for sitting in the outdoor section. For toilets and prayer rooms, you have to go to the faculty toilets. here consists of several menus and snacks only. They are open until 6pm, but they are usually still allowed to sit until 9pm. For those of you who want to do assignments or meetings, this can be an alternative, it's open to the public!
It’s good and cozy co-working space in campus area. The variants menu is healthy and tempting
Great cafeteria and working space located in a glass building at UGM campus. They have a large selection of coffee and drinks to choose from, including different coffee beans of different sorts. The lunch I've had from Zomia has also been really great everytime I've tried it, in particular the noodles and their sandwiches. Overall a great place for grabbing a coffee, lunch or to study.
Zomia Co-working Space is a cozy cafe located inside Universitas Gadjah Mada ☕🏫. It’s a great spot to work, study, or just relax with friends. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for students who want a comfortable place to hang out.
The prices are super friendly for students 💸🎓, so you don’t have to worry about spending too much while enjoying good coffee and snacks. It’s an affordable way to stay productive or catch up with classmates between lectures.
The staff here are really nice and welcoming 😊👋. They make sure you feel at home and are always ready to help if you need anything. It’s one of those places where you can feel comfortable spending hours working or chatting.
I used to hang out here a lot with my friends who also graduated from UGM 🎉📚. It’s a perfect little spot to make memories, study hard, and enjoy good company all at once!
never seen co-working space in Indonesia like Zomia. it's the best place to work or hangout with friends. baristas are so friendly here. The price so affordable and have good taste. will come back here later for sure.
Great ambience, perfectly suitable for co-working and meet up. They have great coffee and cake as well
A shady cafe with a tree-based concept 🌳 owned by the Faculty of Forestry, Gadjah Mada University.
The atmosphere is so peaceful, not many vehicles passing by, and almost everyone is productive in front of their laptops.
For a campus cafe, the food is quite tasty, befitting the 30k+ price tag 👍🏻 The coffee is also good 🤎 I'll come back here if I ever go back to Jogja.
I just found out that there is a co-working space cafe inside UGM, specifically in the Faculty of Forestry UGM. The concept is unique, because it relies on large trees to keep the surroundings cool and shady, but honestly it's a bit hot but it's okay hehe.. the food and drinks are all delicious but the service is a bit slow, maybe because I came here on the weekend and there seems to be only one person handling the kitchen
The atmosphere is nice, it's rare to find a working space + cafe in this comfortable campus area
Zomia is located near the Faculty of Agriculture. It has both indoor (very limited) and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is very comfortable and beautiful when the sun isn't hot.
The food and drink prices are pretty standard, but I can say the taste is unbeatable.
Unfortunately, the wifi access and speed are very limited.
The food/drinks are delicious, the atmosphere is also nice, only the outdoor area which is the yard is not provided with plugs, the name of the place is already co-working space, it should provide electrical plugs in every place so that those who work bring laptops can work comfortably, and the wifi is unstable/slow, not suitable for people working, please improve that part
I came here out of curiosity, as there's a co-working space amidst the hustle and bustle of campus. Parking is a bit tricky, and I had to turn around once because I wasn't sure where to park. Maybe soon they could provide a guide at the forestry sign so people know where to park before turning further. The food is relatively expensive for the portions, which aren't enough, but I'm satisfied with the plating, haha. For drinks, it's really okay, but less sugar still tastes sweet :(. Uniquely, the place is shady from morning to evening, it doesn't feel hot, maybe because it's directly under a big tree, but the downside is that it's often swarmed by mosquitoes. Please bring eucalyptus oil or something if you don't want to get hives here. The space is quite limited, the only suitable place for working with a laptop is outside and that can only rely on the outside wind to feel the fresh air. The air-conditioned room inside is only suitable for chitchat / meetings (not for work), because the furniture doesn't support laptops. The place is obviously a nest for UGM students because it's in the middle of the UGM building. There's no music (don't know if it's inside or not). Anyway, you can do qris here, there's a prayer room, and a bathroom (you have to walk a bit further). In my opinion, this is good for chatting. Because of the limited space, honestly, it's better for just chatting because the place is... Shady and beautiful. Will choose to come here again to chat or have meetings with important clients 😆.
Co-working space in the middle of the Faculty of Forestry, UGM campus, there are indoor and outdoor spaces, indoor has air conditioning but not too cold, outdoor has high chairs, regular chairs, and bean bags. Here during the day is super cozy, even though the weather is very hot but here is still cool, the breeze is gentle, the price of drinks is normal, of course at night there are a lot of mosquitoes, recommended during the day - afternoon if you need a quiet atmosphere
This co-working space is a really cool campus area because it's located in the Faculty of Forestry, which is surrounded by many trees. So far, the menu is delicious, approved by my classmates🎞️🙌🏻🤍
A co-working space on campus, perfect for working alone or just hanging out with friends or family.
The menu is varied, including drinks (coffee, non-coffee, tea, milk base, mocktails, juices), salads, sandwiches, snacks, ice cream, noodles, rice, and more.
Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options, and plenty of power outlets.
Motorcycle parking is available east of Zomia.
Wow, the menu is delicious, especially the drinks 🩷🫶🏻 You can also do WFC, but it's not very good. The wifi is sometimes really slow, and when it rains, there are lots of mosquitoes, huhu. Maybe because it's surrounded by big trees?
The price is also still affordable for students. The only downside is the parking, my friend was confused about where to park when walking around 😭
A fairly comfortable and quiet working space. It can be indoors with air conditioning or outdoors under the shade of rain trees.
Friendly service makes this place a comfortable haven. It's located on the Gajah Mada University (UGM) campus, specifically within the Faculty of Forestry. Motorcyclists can park their bikes in the forestry student parking area and walk to the workspace. There are restrooms and a prayer room, but they're located separate from the coworking space. There are also plenty of power outlets and cable reels provided. Affordable prices and a comfortable environment for working or completing assignments are some of the reasons this place is popular.
One of our recommended workspaces with a truly peaceful ambiance. It's located east of the Gadjah Mada University (UGM) Forestry campus. It exudes a positive vibe, perfect for those seeking a quiet work environment. It's perfect for discussions between classes, or for those who prefer fully remote working. The wifi is great!
Oh, and if you like cold brew, don't forget to order The Professor. It's so refreshing!
One of the co-working spaces that is suitable for assignments after class, also equipped with the QRIS payment method so that cashless transactions can be made, the place is comfortable, only in the afternoon the non-smoking room in the corner is a bit hot because it is exposed to direct sunlight.
Nice place, cool. You can use UGM Wi-Fi. There are a few ants, but they don't bite. Parking is free, haha, and the service is very friendly.
- *Comfortable environment*: Many users praise the comfortable and relaxed working environment at Zomia Co-working Space.
- *Complete facilities*: Users also praise the comprehensive amenities, such as stable Wi-Fi, meeting rooms, and relaxation areas.
- *Affordable prices*: Several users also praise the affordable and flexible prices, making Zomia Co-working Space a great choice for freelancers, startups, and small businesses.
A comfortable co-working space, what is unique about Zomia is its location within the Forestry campus environment, the atmosphere is cool and surrounded by large trees, the forest atmosphere is really felt.
A coffee shop on the UGM campus with co-working facilities. A variety of food and drinks are available.
The snacks and drinks are delicious. The place is comfortable, cool, and quiet even when busy. It's the perfect workspace.
In my opinion, Zomia Co-working Space is the best in Yogya! The vibe is amazing, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the coffee is top-quality and varied. The location is excellent, as it's located on the Gadjah Mada University campus, offering a natural and chill atmosphere. If you want to experience the coolest coffee culture, you should definitely visit Zomia!
The signature drinks here are the healthy juice and diet juice. They're delicious and refreshing. The atmosphere is also comfortable for hanging out. If you want to work, you'll have to queue for a place to plug in. You know, your laptop has to be plugged in. Haha. But overall, it's delicious and very comfortable.
Blend in with the greenery at UGM's Faculty of Forestry. Sitting on the terrace, you'll feel the gentle breeze. There are plenty of electrical outlets, perfect for opening your laptop or chatting with friends.
