One of my favorite hideaway spots in zamalek. Excellent coffee with so many options for brews and beans. And the food outdoes itself every time! Tastes, excellent quality and endless options

Nice place, delicious drinks. The matcha frappe is just the right amount of sweetness. I really like vanilla latte, I would recommend it for non-coffee drinkers. For the rest, just try it.

Stopped at this café randomly and best decision ever!! The chicken Caesar wrap was so delicious along with the strawberry passion fruit mojito!! Our server Mohamed was amazing throughout the day and I would definitely come here again!!

best 30 north branch. amazing food, great coffee, friendly waiters (ask for ahmed, he is the best) and great vibe. got the berry french toast and it’s an absolute masterpiece and very well balanced

Nice outdoor speciality coffee place, friendly staff and great Colombian Iced V60.
- No AC nor fan at the outdoor tables, but there is a few indoor tables.

Beautiful cafe in a courtyard! Great people watching. The staff (Donia) was friendly and good service. Great food and coffee!

Whatever you do, don’t get the Niçoise salad (unless you’re into a mountain of iceberg lettuce and a few minor ingredients that might technically account as a Niçoise salad)

However, the management was kind and thoughtful to make me feel like I would come back and try other items :)

We just had a wonderful breakfast here, I had the superfoods salad which was so fresh and the portions was huge. My daughter and her friend had the salmon eggs Benedict, and the berry French toast and both loved their meals. Highly recommend, the atmosphere is quiet and the service is quick.

I’ve been staying at this hotel for a week, but only just made it to the bar — and I have to say, the experience as a solo traveller was absolutely lovely.

The kindness of miss Tagaryd, the quality of the food, and the strength of the coffee made me seriously question all of my coffee-related decisions up until this point.

Would definitely recommend!

Food and atmosphere was good, but the cashier gave us all torn, unusable notes as change. It was disappointing and not what you expect from a high-end restaurant. Make sure to check your change if you go. Definitely not the level of honesty we expected

Had the pleasure of meeting Rania and Mohamed at the cafe — they served exceptionally. The food was great and the coffee good too.

Breakfast was not as expected especially for this high price it should have a better quality ... sandwich was ok but the salad was bad and potato chips had no seasoning at all ... I didn't like it.

not our first time here, but the hummingbird cake really surprised me and this is why im writing this review, it’s a pineapple cake!! it has hints of cinnamon and walnuts on top absolutely delicious, it was recommended by mr Amr from the staff

A nice spot for breakfast at 30 North Iconia. The place is clean and has a pleasant atmosphere, and the food was fresh, well presented and delicious.

Overall, I enjoyed the breakfast and would come back. The main area that could be improved is the service, which could be a little more attentive and efficient to match the quality of the food and the overall setting.

Good breakfast option and definitely worth trying

I love this branch. It's located in a truly special spot in Zamalek, surrounded by some of the nicest streets for a walk.

One of the things I particularly enjoy is that it's right across from St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church. If you're attending the morning liturgy, it's a perfect place to stop afterward for breakfast, coffee, or a bit of work—whether you're meeting family and friends or simply enjoying some time on your own.

Another bonus is that the building also houses the Egyptian-Lebanese Bookstore (المكتبة المصرية اللبنانية), so you can easily combine your visit with browsing for a new book. A great place to relax, read, work, and enjoy the atmosphere of Zamalek.

Consistently delicious food and good coffee. Daytimes nice and calm, evenings lively and atmospheric.
Pricey but worth it. Staff delightful: new Taghreed when I last visited looked after us so well. My 80yo mum's favourite Zamalek cafe!

However, they failed to satisfied people who love matcha. So you can try others. Their coffee is greal, btw.

They may not have the best coffee, nor the best service, but the overall atmosphere and vibe of the place is one of my favorite in Cairo, especially in the evening.

The place is so nice and classy.
It’s some kind of an open door place so might not be suitable for hot days.

People are nice and friendly. It can be crowded during weekend mornings, I went there it 11 am, it was almost full.
The place is suitable for groups. If you go really early it can be good for a morning date.

No vegan options in the breakfast menu, all plates include egg. However, they have three or four choices of avocado toast, but it didn’t seem so interesting.
They have variety of coffee.

I ordered Cortado, it was good. Then I ordered lemon cheese cake cup; it was nice but can be better.

Overall, it was a good experience. A little bit overpriced $$$. For a cup of coffee and a small cheese cake. They add 26% Vat and Tax. So, if you want a place for a quick cup of coffee, I don’t think this is the perfect place for you. But if you’re looking for a place to spend couple of hours, you should give it a try.

30 North at Zamalek is my home away from home :) Been coming here, every single time since my first trip to Cairo.

I have one coffee fix with them whenever I am in town - sometimes even daily. Great service, I love their beverages more than their food options - it is not the most vegetarian friendly - in terms of choices - but their carrot cake makes up for everything.

The cafe has a lovely atmosphere and the evenings are even better. A little shout out for the entire service staff at 30 North - each one of them are a star!

Tried the Irish hazelnut coffee and it’s sooooo nice! Loved the salmon Benedict and açai bowl too. It’s nothing Egyptian but it’s really nice, very expensive for Egyptian price too 😂 but service is great and atmosphere is very nice.

I’ve been to this location several times and it’s always great! Today I spent several hours working, and Amr Gaber was especially helpful ensuring I got a spot that had an outlet so I could keep my laptop charged! Great food, coffee, and service as always.

The coffee and dishes are delicious 😋, and our waiter Yusof was very nice. Definitely recommend this place!

Nice spot for brunch, menu is limited to cafe / deli style food. Good assortment of coffee. The meals we had were a little dry and our starches came cold, but the manager and chef were very receptive and made an extra effort

Absolutely loved this place. In my 4 days of Cairo Trip, I visited this place 5 times. Beautiful atmosphere, clean and so much lively, at all times!

The food is amazing, tasty, fresh and healthy at all times! The variety of drinks makes every meal even better!

Lastly, the service is absolutely brilliant. Everyone on the staff is so friendly and nice. If I ever visit again, I would definitely want to go back here. Until then, I bought myself a souvenir! My score: 11/10

The vibes are great, food is delicious and there are varieties for everyone, service is super slow ‘maybe in weekends,idk’. I wasn’t convinced by the sweet potato Benedict, the potato was too sweet for the plate, but the salmon Benedict was on pointtttt. Overall, would definitely visit again.

Wonderful staff at this coffeeshop, Ms. Taghrid in particular was incredibly friendly and helpful today when I passed by in a hurry for a quick bite. A welcoming café atmosphere in the courtyard of the old AUC student residence building.

Came here after seeing plenty of great reviews and hearing it was a good spot to get some work done, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations. The staff weren’t particularly friendly, and the food was quite disappointing, while being overpriced.

That said, the coffee is excellent — easily the best flat white I’ve had in North Africa. The atmosphere is also lovely, with a unique outdoor café feel set within a building complex, making it a nice place to sit and chat.

However, as a place to work, I couldn’t disagree more with the recommendations. The internet was very poor, there’s a lack of power outlets, and the staff tend to push you out fairly quickly after you finish eating.

Overall, it’s a good spot for a coffee and conversation, but if you’re planning to work, I’d strongly recommend going elsewhere.
