Great place to have a coffee, breakfast or brunch. Many foreigners around here and nice atmosphere. They also have great internet / wifi so it’s a perfect place if you also need to get some work done.

Not sure why is this place recommended for remote workers? The wifi is very bad, at least outside in the courtyard, there are no plugs for laptops, it's very loud and bad acoustics, I tried to have a work call it ended up as disaster. Otherwise the place is nice, food and coffe Is ok, but would not recommend for work

One of my favorite coffee spots, the staff are super friendly, coffee is great with some nice homey food options. Nice spot to do some work from if you’re looking for somewhere comfortable to bring a laptop along to.

During my first visit to Aussie Coffee in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro, I arrived directly from the airport, eager for a quality caffeine fix. The owner, Daniel Hobbs, an Australian who has been living in Rio for over a decade, warmly welcomed me, unfazed by my suitcase. 

I started with an oat cappuccino, which was perfectly crafted. Impressed, I also tried their avocado toast and matcha latte. The avocado toast deviated from the typical Australian style but was delightful, especially with their homemade spicy sauce. Since that first experience, I’ve returned daily for coffee that rivals my favorite spots in NYC.

Tucked away down a long corridor, this Australian-style coffee shop is a hidden gem in Rio. It’s usually bustling with locals and tourists, but the quick turnover ensures seating is readily available. Many patrons work on laptops, taking advantage of the fast, reliable internet. Daniel’s music selection adds to the top-notch ambiance.

The service is both kind and friendly. Daniel, fluent in both English and Portuguese, leads a Brazilian team, many of whom speak English, making communication effortless.

In my quest for exceptional coffee in Ipanema and across Rio, Aussie Coffee stands out as the best. For fellow coffee enthusiasts, this spot is a must-visit.

A great coffee place to enjoy a truly aussie flat white. Also place is great to bring your laptop and work there. Is quiet and relaxed. Also brownie really good. Next time I will ask smash advocado

Would give it six stars if I could. worked out of here for a couple of weeks. Back of a quiet alley. Flawless wifi, open doors so good air, great food, English speaking owner and staff, a US power strip, fantastic cake. Closes a little early around 5, unfortunately.

There isn’t a better coffee shop in Rio. It’s a great place to work on your laptop. Superior coffee and tasty lunch/breakfast (they should invent a word for that meal)

Excellent juices and a friendly vibe. Aussie Coffee seves up healthy wraps, delicious cakes, mouthwatering brunch and of course… amazing coffee.

A great place to grab a quick bite on the go or even stay a little longer and get some work done on your laptop.

They have a little courtyard out the back and you can even bring your dog.

Love this place and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!
