Great location, right next to the shopping centre. The staff were friendly and quick, and both the coffee and food arrived without much waiting.

We first stopped by for coffee and cappuccino, which were excellent. The place itself is cozy, calm, and has a very pleasant atmosphere.

We later came back for lunch, and the food was delicious, beautifully presented, and well prepared.

Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely wonderful breakfast, the service was incredible and the coffee DIVINE! The space was modern and cozy, with big windows towards the mall, perfect for people watching.

They don’t have a lot of choices on the menu. The background music is awful and doesn’t fit the vibe. Overall it’s an okay place, but would never go here again.

A nice place, especially with a great view if you sit by the window. The food is quite tasty, and the prices are affordable. The only things I didn’t like were the lighting and the background music. The lighting is mainly overhead, bright, and white, which feels more like a store than a cozy café. I would prefer softer, warmer lighting from floor lamps or similar sources instead. With better lighting and different music, this place would easily be a 5 out of 5.

The food was surprisingly good. The place is, as the name indicates, a bistro located in a cultural centre. We had a thai-inspired menu and were blown away by the value you get. Would recommend. Beware though that its really is a bistro with bright lights and a bistro feeling to it.

I've been visiting Bistro Miasto since it opened, and I'm sorry to say that my experience of it has already worsened.

Bistro Miasto used to be a place where I felt comfortable with taking my time eating, drinking, and reading, but all that changed during this summer because of the waiter's insistent interruptions of 'Are you OKs?' Yes, I am OK, but you're not really interested if I'm OK, are you? What you're really saying is that if I'm not going to buy anything else, you would like me to leave, even though there's plenty of seats available for other customers. Understood, but before I leave, I decide to use the restroom, and as I make my way to it, putting the empty glass on the counter, I see a customer with a cup of coffee and a book. Does the waiter also interrupt her with his insistent Are-you-oks?Somehow, I doubt it.
Perhaps the waiter and the establishment are afraid that I'll scare their customers away as I sit outstretched in their deckchairs sipping on some lemonade and minding my own business.

Edit: I guess you guys are not familiar with the expression 'The customer is always right.'
I am perfectly capable of discerning by the tone of the voice of the particular waiter what his intention was, and it wasn't to assure that I was satisfied with my order. Which was a lemonade, BTW. Are your waiters in the habit of checking up on customers to see if their cold or hot drink is OK? I don't think so.

Not wanting to try too much Polish food in one day, I wanted something different for dinner. I found a casual restaurant near my accommodation online, and its high ratings piqued my curiosity!

Upon arriving at the restaurant, I ordered based on the photos online (thank you to the online reviewers!), and then told the waiter I'd like to add a separate vegetable salad, which was possible. The garlic shrimp cream fettuccine was delicious, with a unique, slightly spicy flavor. The salad dressing was excellent, and the accompanying water was thoughtfully prepared with herbs and grapefruit.

I'm so glad I didn't miss this place!

An interesting spot on the culinary map of Gdańsk. Delicious breakfast options. Turkish eggs and Crocque Madame. Aromatic coffee. One of the few Sunday breakfast spots in the area.

A charming place near the Forum, in the building of the municipal cultural institute.
My visit was late in the evening, just before closing. However, I received a coffee (despite the late hour) 😍
The coffee was delicious 😋 and a few things caught my eye:
- the Lego bouquets
- the great menu (suitable for a vegetarian 😍) I will definitely come back
- the beautiful view

It was delicious! The salad served with every breakfast is especially noteworthy; the dressing is simply amazing!!!!
My wife and I both agreed that if they had just served us this salad, it would have been delicious too!!! 😅

Unfortunately, my visit to Bistro Miasto was very disappointing. The biggest problem was the service – it was clearly unprofessional. For a long time, no one came to our table, so we had to get up and get menus ourselves.

Furthermore, the place seems poorly organized. There are regular supply issues, making some menu items impossible to order. During our visit, they even ran out of burger buns, which shouldn't happen in a burger restaurant.

It's a shame, because the place has potential, but with this level of organization and service, it's hard to recommend it.

I'll respond to your response. The table occupancy rate during our visit was less than 60%, and our 15-20 minute wait didn't elicit a response from your staff. Guests at the next table had similar feelings. Not to mention the lack of a simple "good morning." It's a great pity, but as the saying goes, "if you want it, you can." The breakfast was so delicious I didn't have time to take a picture. The price-to-quality ratio is unmatched by most places in the area. If you're in Gdańsk and want something substantial with a view of the river, just two minutes from the main town, I highly recommend it!

A very unpleasant experience with the service.

I specifically requested a large cappuccino. The employee said "OK," took my order, put it on the register, and I paid. A moment later, I received a small cappuccino.

When I asked why I received a small cappuccino when I ordered a large, I was told that they didn't have a large cappuccino at all and that only one size was available.

So, my question is simple: why couldn't they have told me this UP-TO-DATE when I specifically asked for a large cappuccino? Instead, the order was accepted, payment was taken, and only later was I informed that what I ordered was out of stock.

If you don't have the size you want, no problem. But normal customer service means saying, "Unfortunately, we only have one size. Will this be okay?" Then the customer decides for themselves whether they want to buy it.

Ultimately, the problem isn't even the coffee or the cup size, but the customer service approach. It is very unpleasant when an order is simply ignored, no one explains anything, and only after making the payment does the customer find out that what he asked for was not there at all.

The food is very tasty, the matcha too, a positive surprise is the carafe of water on these hot days, definitely a plus, I have no complaints about the service, very friendly

Instead of visiting international chains, come here for coffee and delicious cake while you are in the Forum.

Delicious, filling breakfasts. A complimentary carafe of water with mint and lemon was a nice bonus.
There are also tables with swings outside.
The lady serving our orders was smiling and tactful, offered helpful advice, answered questions, and made us regain our faith in their professionalism and people. :) Great value, and I'd definitely recommend them to others – I'll gladly return! :)

The breakfast menu is quite good. The Caesar bagel was a very good option, especially with seasonal lemonade. Unfortunately, the wait time was a bit long considering the small number of customers. Nevertheless, the place is worth recommending.

Convenient location, reasonable prices, nice interior design, and very friendly service. But most importantly, the food, specifically the soup we ordered, turned out to be completely inedible. We were offered the opportunity to omit the pepper to reduce the spiciness. Despite this, it was impossible to eat: my tongue and palate burned, and my nose began to run. If it weren't for the fact that it was already late before closing and we were very hungry, I definitely wouldn't have even tried to swallow it.

My boyfriend and I like this place, but before, the conditions were a bit better. You could swap out a dish or order a separate salad to go with your breakfast, like an omelet, which we made many times until it suddenly stopped being available. You could also order an extra egg. It's a shame because the food is good, but sometimes we don't feel completely full and want to order something else that isn't a full course, but we've already enjoyed what we've had. We eat at many places in the Tricity area and usually aren't turned down when we ask for these kinds of extras (of course, you pay the restaurant's asking price).

As for the Tomkha soup, it's a mix of both. Sometimes it's great, piping hot, the broth ingredients well mixed, and perfectly seasoned, and sometimes it's a bit lukewarm, less seasoned, and as if some of the ingredients were added just before serving to warm them up. You can't taste them. The cream doesn't blend well with the broth, and the flavor is a bit off. We eat this soup quite often, so we can compare when it tastes different. I also feel like there are fewer pieces of tofu in the soup than before. With the Caesar salad, I've also noticed that sometimes there's more chicken, sometimes less.
The biggest drawback for us, however, is the elimination of extras like salad or an extra egg. Understandably, you can't completely customize everything to suit your guests' individual needs, but having minimal and typical ingredients as extras, which are also common in many places, is a bit of a letdown. Especially since this option used to be available not so long ago. The restaurant caters to guests, and it's a shame the kitchen says no to such requests. We're also regulars, because I think the staff has become somewhat familiar with us, as we regularly come in after work in Gdańsk.
Of course, we respect the restaurants' decision not to accommodate their customers, which is why we don't visit as often as we used to, when the place was more flexible.

I came here because I was tempted by the vegetarian crocque on the menu, and it was definitely a good choice!

A pleasant, bright place, relatively uncrowded on weekday mornings. The service was friendly, and I got my breakfast very quickly. I recommend it!

The absolutely inept and disinterested staff ruined the entire atmosphere. The wait for a simple breakfast was outrageously long, despite the lack of occupancy. The staff were mostly focused on their phones. Even after preparing the meal, they didn't know where to serve it. We had to ask for the promised carafe of water, pointing out that it was listed on the menu, because of course they didn't offer it and didn't know what we were talking about. Finally, the breakfast was quite good, and the place itself was nice.

Summer matcha with passion fruit is my favorite drink! I recently tried the Turkish Eggs breakfast. It was delicious! The eggs were perfectly cooked, accompanied by a delicious yogurt with garlic and, I think, chili oil. And let's not forget the lightly toasted bread, which was very fresh and delicious on its own.

A great place to relax in the heart of Gdańsk. In addition to the friendly and professional service, the restaurant also offers excellent food and delicious coffee and tea.
