Great service, cosy atmosfere in Gdansk. Cafe Kamienica Where You can chill with a borrowed Guitar while drinking some orange juice, a tea or a great capuccino in one of the best artistic old street in Gdansk. One of the Old Town All Time’s best. We strongly recommend you this cosy place to chill out in a friendly environment
A super beautiful café with a warm, family-friendly vibe and an excellent location… The service was simply charming, and the cakes were very fresh.
A highly recommended place if you want to enjoy a good coffee with a delicious slice of cake while taking in a beautiful view of the Basilica and the Mariacka street.
A very charming café located on one of the most beautiful streets in Gdańsk.
We sat outside on Mariacka Street for coffee and cake, and the atmosphere was absolutely lovely. The historic buildings and cozy surroundings make this place feel really unique and relaxing.
The coffee and desserts were delicious, the service was friendly, and overall it was a very pleasant experience.
Definitely recommended if you want to enjoy a quiet break while exploring Gdańsk.
Very cute cafe with very friendly staff! The cheesecake was amazing, but a bit pricey for 34 Zloty. But the location is very central and nice.
The place has a vintage and cozy vibe. Gurls were so nice and kind, excellent service. I had a meeting online and they made the place proper for that. Absolute Recommend
We had breakfast and it was delicious. Not only they were really sweet but they also customised our cappuccino to make it "Christmas theme" with a beautiful snowman!
We really enjoyed eating here and I hope that everybody seeing this goes there, it really deserves it
Great places to sit and have a lovely cool drink, coffee and cakes,Fantastic historic street,Look at the drain pipes
Loved my time here! I got coffee and the pumpkin beer and sat on the top floor. Amazing cozy ambience, wonderful service, and great beverages!
Unfortunately, this café was quite disappointing. The service was extremely slow – after waiting more than 10 minutes, we had to go ask for the menu ourselves because no one came to our table. The hot chocolate with Baileys was very watery, tasted like it came from a packet, and I couldn’t taste any Baileys at all – if it was added, it was barely noticeable. The atmosphere was okay, but the poor service and low-quality drink really spoiled the experience. Overall, just an average place, and I wouldn’t rush to come back.
Excellent beer, friendly service, and a beautiful view of St. Mary’s Church. A perfect spot to relax while exploring Gdańsk👣
This place has really good food. Both the quiche and the apple pie were excellent. The coffee was also good, but perhaps not perfect.
Located in a very unique and cozy street with merchants selling amber products.
Rather cold evening but they give you blankets to keep warm. A nice display at the front entices you to have the awesome dessert and we had some apple pie with ice cream. And tea flavoured with fruits and spices like cinnamon. Very lovely experience here.
A recommendation.
The best Cheesecake in my life! Wonderful!
Really good place, friendly service and really tasty food and drinks
Nice little cafe and the cake here is sooooo yummy! Seating is upstairs and the staff come to your table for service. Many selections of amazing desserts. Irish coffee was good too! The upstairs could use a bit more decor on the wall, yet it’s kinda cozy. The outside front deck is probably very cozy in the summer. We were there in FEB. Great service! Def worth a visit!!
They saved us from the rain and provided us the best coffee ever
Paulicarus think he came here on his first visit in 2014. A lovely little cafe on split levels. A pavement terrace, up several stairs to another terrace and bar area then stairs up for inside seating and the one toilet. A very relaxing spot on a quiet, almost traffic free, street. Boothroyd Bear ordered two Aperol Spritz to take us past noon. Lovely.35 zl per Aperol.
Very nice cafe with unique atmosphere. Friendly and quick service. Hot apple pie with ice cream was superb. Rustic interior. Just notice that at least most of the tables are upstairs (if you're disabled).
Cafe Kamienica absolutely stole my heart. Let me start a bit unconventionally, with the service, which was honestly some of the best I’ve experienced in a café in Gdańsk. The two gentlemen working that day were outstanding, real gems who absolutely deserve a raise! They were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely engaged with the customers. They even managed to tempt me into a few extra sweet indulgences.
Which brings me to what really matters in a café, the sweets and the coffee. Your coffee is excellent, though I must say the matcha was rather average, probably the only thing I could critique. As for the place itself, it’s incredibly cozy. In the afternoon, the balcony is bathed in soft light, and the view over the iconic Mariacka Street is simply stunning.
All in all, I had a truly positive experience and will definitely be coming back. Keep up the great work!
Lovely cafe on a cool little back street. Fab iced coffee and the Best customer service in Gdańsk!
Liked it so much, came back again the following evening for drinks, and it was equally amazing.
When in Gdańsk, visit Cafe Kamienica!!
This little cafe is just great. You can easily spend an hour (or more) enjoying a piece of delicious cake, tea or coffee. I wish this cafe was in Berlin. 😋☕️✨
Great ambiance, friendly service and delicious food. I would recommend this cafe to anyone visiting Gdańsk.
Lovely cafe atmosphere, the food, cake and drinks selection was spot on and the staff were very helpful and friendly. So good we went two days in a row. 😋
The staff is so friendly and the cakes are absolutely delicious
It’s a small cozy cafe in the old town and has great hot chocolate. Also had their mushroom and cabbage perogi which was soft juicy and super amazing to eat in the cold weather.
The cake and coffee were delicious treats, full of flavor and refreshingly free from touristy clichés. I really appreciated the friendly and thoughtful service.
A sanctuary on the streets of Gdansk! Great coffee & cakes, small dishes. Romantic setting away from the main drag. 👍
Was such a calm atmosphere. The receptionist was also nice and welcoming. I strongly recommend this place. There’s also a guitar 🎸 available for anyone who enjoys playing.
The cafe in a very beautiful street. Nice service & cozy vibes.
But the coffee is not in good quality. Cake is ok.
This is a Gdansk gem! It was a highlight of our stay in the city. We called in every day. Such a convivial place, lovely furniture, restful atmosphere.
The staff were so welcoming, the music soothing and the food and drink high quality and reasonably priced. Well done to all!
Lovely cafe on a beautiful street, really friendly service and the most delicious apple pie
Very cute cafe with french feeling on a very nice Mariacka street. Although it's in the city centre it was not expensive. I felt very good there.
Everything was super nice, the food was great and the service was amazing. Everyone is super nice and welcoming. Highly reccomend
We really enjoyed the atmosphere at Cafe Kamienica. The employees we spoke with were all very kind, and even spoke english!
The latte was very smooth, warm but not hot. Must try the chocolate hazelnut croissant!
If you sit-in, note that you pay downstairs when leaving. International credit cards are accepted!
Coffee is drinkable. But the main highlight is apple pie. DELICIOUS! (we got recommendation by local friend) Highly recommended
The staff is polite and friendly
A cafe on Amber street. They had coffee as well as cakes and quiches . Nice terrace seats and also inside, staff was attentive, good service.
This cafeteria is a gem in Gdansk. It offers a lovely terrace with view to the Cathedral and the inner space is beautifully decorated and cozy. People attending is kind and makes you feel comfortable. The orange cheesecake is a must to try with their winter tea or even beer. The sandwiches are tasty but denitely the desserts are the best. On weekends it can take some time to get a table at night.
Tired and stressed, this was the first place we spotted, but I'm glad we went there (this was back in May, decided to review now as I remembered how good they were)! Very good coffee and varied, fun cocktails. Price wise, they were cheaper than I expected for that area! I really, really enjoyed coming here on days out in Gdańsk and sitting outside for a while, looking out at the beautiful street. I just wanted a coffee and a break and ended up returning here as we enjoyed it so much. The staff were friendly and kind too, despite me being cheeky and trying to eat food I brought myself while having my coffee lol. I'll buy a cake next time, I promise! The lady on the bar was very patient as my English boyfriend tried to practice and place his drink order in Polish. As far as I saw, the lady also speaks and understands English well, English speaking tourists will be able to order easily here. They brought an ashtray out for us when they noticed us rolling cigarettes.
Definitely recommended, quaint little cafe with lovely atmosphere, reasonable prices and great view of a beautiful, popular street in Old Town Gdańsk.
I only had one coffee there but it was very good, the waitress was adorable and the place is really causy. It's a great place to hang out on an emblematic street in Gdansk.
Lovely place extremely good service.
Good drinks and beer!
We seated on the window side on the first floor so we could enjoy the view here. And tea, coffee and cheese cake were overall good :-)
Staff were also kind 🫶
I loved the atmosphere in there, very old fashion furniture. At first when you walk in it seems very small, but once you go upstairs everything changed. The waitress was lovely and advice us to try the orange cheesecake (typical polish) and the honey and lemon cheesecake (atypical polish) but they were both incredible. Service was fast.
One of such extremely cozy and vintage cafe in Gdansk. Lovely hangout spot with friends or group after the evening walk or a long day at work. Loved it !
A beautiful small place with the most wonderful staff one can ask for.
Thank you for a great time and for making me feel right at home.
I have to add: I was there a second time.
This place is just so inviting and friendly.
What a great team! They have even waited for us and closed a bit later.
A huge shout out to these wonderful people. Thank you!
Nice, small cafe, perfect for a quick break while cruising around. Sufficient selection of cakes, desserts and drinks. The staff very friendly, especially the black hair waitress, probably the nicest we ever had. Definitely recommended.
Best breakfast ever. Gorgeous salty tarts and a delicious variety of coffees. Best view of the
Amber Road. Competent and
very helpful staff. Nice
atmosphere outside and warmth inside. Toilets on the first floor clean and well mantenied. A must go visit for group of friends and families as well.
Very nice caffeehouse with beautiful view, tasty coffee, cakes and kind service. atmosphere is perfect of course❤️
Great spot to watch the world go by with good coffee and food
Aperol spritz was good, for 35zl, staff was kind.
Great local drinks! Excellent friendly service. Best place to stop and enjoy a moment
The coffee was really great! The waiters were young guys, very polite, speaking perfect English and good German too. There was also a girl working there who was so polite and genuine, always with a big smile. The whole team made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
