Cafe Lamus

Very funky café located just about right in the center but still gets you away of the beaten track a little.
Unfortunately the barista looked as we were annoying her, almost didn't say a word, which confused us.
We ordered espresso tonic and it was okayish but almost without any sparkles.

We had a great time here! Super chill, nice student vibes and atmosphere! Great bartender, good beer… unfortunately they did not draft light beer. Reasonable prices (16zł for beer), nice place what more to say wish for? ❤️❤️❤️

A cafe with casual vibes to catch up over a drink or to find a quiet corner to catch up with some work or reading. The staff prefer neither bothering you nor to be bothered :) Prices are reasonable. Very central in location. Could recommend, but not a must visit.

We were quite disappointed by visiting this cafeteria. The espresso didn’t taste good but bitter and watery. The seating was not the most comfortable and the waitress looked as if she was bothered by serving people. Small selection of cakes. If you just want a photo for your IG, it looks aesthetic. It looks as a nice moody cafeteria but the service and coffee just didn’t match our expectations.

Paulicarus found us another bar close to our apartment. A small bar with front pavement seating. Draught Czech beer ( Holba?). I had a large light for 15 zl. A pinot grigio for Boothroyd for 17 zl. Good taste in 1980's music. So good we stayed for more drinks and Scoobie snacks.

We ordered an Americano and a matcha latte. The coffee tasted terrible and was undrinkable. There were some lumps in the coffee. Unfortunately the matcha wasn't good either. At least the price was affordable. The cafe itself was cute and the toilet was clean.

We grabbed some hand beer here, which were first class. The bartender was very kind and helpful. The atmosphere is fantastic. It's a place that worths a visit! And the prices are reasonable too.

The coffee was tasteless. We ordered a cappuccino and and a flat white and it was impossible to drink. The foam was clogged, this is not how specialty coffee should look. The atmosphere of the place is very cozy (terrace on the street), but the coffee did not stand a chance.

Yessss one of the best places to chill during the day in Gdansk! Think we went everyday for a drink/coffee and to just sit outside in the sun when we were done walking around. Really sweet staff, cool 80's interior and excellent tunes!

Just a small pub in the centre.

Good for an escape from the hustle and bustle of ul. Długa (Long Market Street) if you're around here.

Good and original beers too! In the summer, the front is all open with seating outside.

Hard to find as it isn't on ul. Lawendowa itself but is at the end of that street. It looks like it is on ul. Straginarska, but it is numbered "Lawendowa 8".

But it is on the opposite side of the road from the red brick building of the "Hala Targowa".

Quiet gem in Gdansk, just off the noisy, touristy streets. The barista took her time (not too much though) making a fantastic latte.

Nice place to have a good beer. Even if I don't like beer I have enjoy this moment. I definitely recommend this place.

The Best. Great part of youth spent there. Always warm welcome, you will have special luck when meet owners behind the bar. Craft beers, nice drinks, you can come alone, bartenders are polite and talkative.

Great pub with a immaculate atmosphere. The music they play there is always great and covers a lot of genres (from my experience old school rap and jazzy tunes). Bartenders are also really nice to talk to and very helpful

I have no idea why is it called a cafe when it's clearly a pub... I must admit that prices are reasonable (cheap for Old Town) but there is no cake, so it hardly suits for a cafe. I give three stars because the place is calm and clay and staff was very nice.

We found the place by chance. And we really loved it. workers were so attentive. The interior design was also so cool.

Relaxed atmosphere. Chill music and a lot of beer. They also have gluten free beer from time to time, according to the bartender. Got a little asthma from the furniture, but nothing a quick ventoline can't fix. Would recommend.

One of the best pubs in Gdańsk. You definitely have to pay a visit to taste their vast choice of craft beers. The kind personnel will always help you choose something that will suit you. The atmosphere is great, cosy interior is filled with got music. You can also have a peek in Lawendowa pub on the corner - it's run by the same good people.

Café Lamus is a cosy bar with very friendly staff and a lot of atmosphere. They have a rotating selection of tap beers, which makes it exciting to visit. Great place for a midday drink with a friend or for a bigger meet-up with 6-8 friends. It's very close to Hala Targowa so nice to stop there if it's cold or great for a drink in the outdoor tables if the weather is nice.

Love this cosy little place. Always good to pop in for a pint with some craft one always on the menu. Quiet non judgemental atmosphere...good to come solo or with friends

They might have lost a star because they have redecorated and I miss the wacky 60s wallpaper.
