Absolutely incredible atmosphere!
Such a stylish café with great music, super friendly staff, and excellent specialty coffee.
We ordered both espresso and hand brew, and both were delicious! We loved every minute of our visit, from the creative little details in every corner to the photography exhibition we explored afterwards.
We were genuinely impressed and so happy to have discovered such a cool spot in Gdańsk! Honestly, we wanted to buy everything — from desserts and drinks to bags, cups, and even Luis underwear! 😂
Definitely one of the highlights of our trip and a place we’d love to come back to!
Highly recommend visiting this gem when exploring beautiful Gdańsk! ❤️
Excellent café. The aesthetic and environment is outstanding - the highlight for me. Very nice laid-back music, ambient lighting, cool decorations and nice items on sale (including beans). The service is fantastic - staff are very kind and attentive. The cakes were superb as well - lovely peanut butter brownie and the drożdżówka was amazing! The V60 we got (Burundi beans) was excellent. Well-balanced and the berry notes were clear. Perfect acidity and mouthfeel. The only critique I have was that my flat white was slightly bitter. Other than that, I understand why this café has such a great reputation in the area and I would recommend it to anyone in the area.
Their lemon curd tart is to die for. Paired this with a warm, soft and creamy rose matcha latte that had the perfect balance between the tea and syrup.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Fun stickers.
Cool & atmospheric cafe in Gdansk, particularly suitable for modern & young people, with a queer touch. The coffee was really great, the pastry was average. It’s now overpriced since it has become so trendy, so think if this is really your crowd. There’s a small contemporanean art gallery in the basement.
Cozy artsy decor, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Wide selection and variety of methods available when it comes to coffee preparation. Bagel was very good but the peanut butter brownie was out of this world! Best example of the style I've ever had. Will be back :)
Absolutely stunning café located in a converted bunker. The ambience is airy, modern, stylish. Edyta and Veronika were not only kind and helpful with their recommendations but served incredible coffee and matcha. The burnt cheesecake is a must and the sandwiches and pastries are incredible as well. Definitely made our stay in Danzig that much better - highly recommend!
The experience was delightful. We had great coffee and absolutely phenomenal rose lemonade. The staff was amazing too.❤️
Cosy cafe in Gdańsk. Oat milk and pea milk offered ☕ standard coffee prices. The staff were super friendly and speak English.
Great selection of pastries though I didn't try one today. The ambience is lovely, lots of plants and nice lighting to relax and take a break.
Thank you nice person, who recommended the best polish cake!
The coffe and hot chocolate were also nice, but the cake is the most delicious stuff.
Cozy cafe with very nice ambience. The guy working at the counter was very friendly. Delicious cappuccino and cinnamon rolls (even better if warmed up). Beware (for tourists mostly) -- Google Maps gave me funky directions. Just follow the main road instead.
Looking for a great coffee? Stop here! This place is amazing, they serve great specialty coffee, I had an oat flat white and a filter coffee, both tasty and balanced! Pastries are super and the atmosphere is friendly and cozy. Well done! One of the best coffee shop I have ever been ❤️
One of the best coffee places in the city centre. They have lot of options when it comes to specialty coffee, I tried two different areopresses and they were outstanding. Also matcha was really good - grassy but as usual.
This is also independent gallery, there was some exhibition downstairs, and part of Kt was only 18+ with some explicit nudity. Amazing concept. There were plenty tables, and also you could sit outside.
A hidden gem in Gdansk! An amazing cafe, located central but fully surrounded by green colours! The cafe is built in an old building with a gallery right below it. The owners are very kind and deliever delicious pastries, good coffee and a great atmosphere.
Recommended to anyone looking for a nice and cozy place to have drinks or to hangout
Great cafe, relaxed and quiet. Outdoor seating in the shade of the trees. Had a very nice filter coffee. Staff were cheerful and friendly and I felt I could have stayed there all day! The sandwich I had was very nice and the cakes looked really good too.
If you're looking for specialty coffee go elsewhere.... this is definitely not the place. Also when I go for coffee I expect some bitterness, but not from the staff. Think.... the random coffee place on the corner, but it costs twice as much and the staff will treat you like you're not fit to be door mat. Apart from that the location is lovely. They would do themselves a big favour to get new staff who care about what they do and some better beans <33 Long story short ... there are other options not far away which do deserve high praise.
Really nice bagel, drinks and coffee here at very reasonable prices.
The staff where super helpful with recommending places that are lgbt friendly and advice on how to act in the city. We even got to meet the mascot Luis in person. 10/10 will be back
Delicious smooth coffee! The cafe is filled with art too. I didn’t have any pastries as they weren’t vegan, but husband did and said it was a bit dry and stale like. Very friendly staff too!
We went here every morning we were in Gdańsk because the coffee was so good!
Everything I have had at Cafe Luis has been delicious, especially their great matcha drinks. The atmosphere is very chill and comfortable. One of my favorite cafes in all of Gdańsk
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! pastries are next level, cute exterior and interior and prices are reasonable. Would come back!
Nice café, 80s style, quiet, very hard to find. There is a gallery in the basement. We came for breakfast, but it was already gone when we arrived. So we ordered cake, it took a while to prepare. The (vegan) cake was good, but a bit heavy for the morning. Very friendly service.
Don't be scared by the outside. The interior of the cafe is very cozy, they serve some very good croissants and delicious coffee.
Excellent coffee by fantastic people i very friendly and quiet atmosphere.
One of the best cafes in Gdansk! The only way to start the day is with them☕️🥰💝
Fresh cakes and pastries, really good coffee, happy and friendly service. I tried a cinnamon roll that was baked that morning, my friend, was like a hug. Not pricey. For sure if I am in Gdansk would come often there.
Love it! Love the people there, croissants, cute cuttles for tea. Absolutely adore that all the furniture and crockery they have is different but still very organically matching. And of course Luis himself!! Cutest little wise doggy
Cozy and charming hidden gem in Gdańsk! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, and both the latte and cappuccino were excellent. I do wish there were more food options, but overall, it’s a lovely spot worth visiting.
Nice chill atmosphere and tasty drinks.
Everything is perfect:) thank you for your good service and good place ☺️♥️it’s my favorite cafe in Gdansk
It was nice to have a coffee before going to war
Cafe Luis in Gdansk is like a big hug for your taste buds and a cozy hangout for your soul. Luis, the adorable dog-in-charge, gives this place a unique charm. The coffee is super special, and each sip feels like a warm high-five to your day. The cakes and sandwiches? They're like little bites of happiness. The art on the walls? Cool and colorful. Luis makes sure everyone feels welcome, whether you're a coffee geek or just looking for a chill spot. If you want your day to sparkle a bit brighter, Luis' place is where it's at. 5 stars for smiles and good vibes! 🌟🐾☕
And I really enjoyed working remotely there, super nice for remote workers and students :)
Cheers!!
Fun vibes cafe with outside patio.
This café impresses with its delicious coffee and serene ambiance. Perfect for coffee lovers seeking a quiet spot to relax or work, it offers a peaceful retreat from the busy world outside.
The food was delicious particularly the apple cake. Lovely atmosphere with chilled background music. The owner was lovely and friendly. 😊
Hands down one of the best cafes I've been to in EUROPE. I basically spent everyday of my trip to Gdansk here.
Atmosphere is super chill and their soundtrack is 👌👌relaxation vibes. Staff are super friendly (one offered to make me a sandwich with mozzarella and pesto when I didn't want the vegan option and it tasted GOOD)., and their coffee is super solid. Had flat white, batch brew, matcha tonic and espresso tonic during my time here.
The coffee is robust and full bodied here. No ultra fruity notes but think more dark berries, chocolate and oak notes (at least while I was there)
Don't come expecting a whole menu of exotic beans but do come expecting a nice relaxed time. It's also linked to a gallery in a sunny, airy space and has seating outside. One of the best places to be on a sunny day.
I unfortunately don't have any pics of the coffee etc because I was too relaxed to remember doing any of that.
A wonderful establishment in Gdansk! The café I had the pleasure of visiting left unforgettable impressions. This place is like an oasis of tranquility and coziness in the heart of a bustling city. The perfect blend of a cozy atmosphere and delicious desserts creates a unique setting where one can easily spend hours.
One of the standout features of this café is its charm. The interior decor blends perfectly with the soulfulness of the place. The incredibly charming design and attention to detail make you feel like you're in the cozy living room of an old friend.
The location of the establishment was a pleasant surprise for me. It's nestled in peaceful courtyards, away from the urban hustle and bustle. The time spent here offers a chance to unwind and enjoy the silence, far from the crowds of tourists, especially during the Dominican Fair.
And now, onto the main attraction – the desserts! In this café, you can indulge in a variety of exquisitely prepared cakes. They will undoubtedly satisfy any sweet tooth and provide a genuine gastronomic delight.
I must also highlight another amazing aspect – the presence of an art gallery downstairs. This is an excellent idea that adds an extra dimension to the establishment. The opportunity to enjoy art in such a cozy atmosphere is truly a unique experience.
The café in Gdansk is a real find! If you're looking for a place to relax, savor delicious desserts, and immerse yourself in a world of tranquility away from the city hustle, then this place is perfect for you.
It’s one of the most beautiful coffee places I’ve ever been. The cafe shares the building with a small contemporary art studio. If I understood it correctly, the building is a former boiler station. The place is owned by a lovely couple and their dog Luis :) Luis was very kind and met us outside! We took a Chemex made with local beans and it was great!
That's strongest 9/10 and one of the best coffee place in Gdansk. The only dis for me are quite big price, but it seems like OK in Poland and it might be hard to find free spot to seat, as place is quite popular.
Very tasty croissants, the last time I ate similar ones in Italy, delicious coffee, a cool atmosphere and a cute barista. There are a lot of seats inside and outside, pet friendly, but even if you are without a pet, it is nice to look at the cute dogs of other guests
Amazing homemade fresh cakes and lovely welcoming staff.
Best croissant I've ever tried, lovely texture and pistachio creme. Coffee and atmosphere also on high level
Lovely cafe inside a gallery. We have enjoyed our breakfast with homemade bagel and blueberry bread and herbal teas. Everything was beyond expectations!
Really quaint little coffee shop, super friendly staff, EXCELLENT espresso, and the cherry pie was great. Perfectly tart and the crust was buttery crispy. Would come back often!!
The basque cheesecake was divine. Place is very cute and cozy, loved the pottery they had there.
Truly excellent coffee - my cappuccino was perfectly balanced and the milk was just the right temperature. A peaceful oasis in the middle of busy Gdańsk, this is a real winner.
The coffee is great & the cakes are marvellous.
Tips: always ask the barista for his recommendations when it comes to cakes. He knows it all!
Great coffee and skilled barista (so had to buy some beans!). Kind and helpful staff with a small but really good selection of cakes ☺️
Creative, cozy, off the beaten track coffee house with so much more. See the menu in the photos.
Perfect place to sit and study for a while on a trip. Great drinks, dog friendly and doubles as an art gallery so all round great vibes
Very nice interior, interesting tasting coffee, cool cups, can be bought as a souvenir from Gdansk, very friendly baristas
Cool cafe - oat milk & vegan cheesecake available.
Fantastic playlist, good art gallery exhibit - very friendly staff 😊🖤🩶🤍
