Coffeetown

Meh. Quaint spot and nice interior, it is a nice spot to pop open the laptop and knock out some work. The food on the other hand was off for me. Omelette was not good, cakes were dry or too sweet. Pancakes were a winner though. Service was good. I went with the Iced Coffee, which hit the spot. The Mrs went with a white mocha, which was a liquid caramel, too sweet to drink. Wee man knocked out the waffle, looked good.

Beautiful decor, excellent location. It has a vast range of drinks & foods. It is comfortable and clean, helpful staff, wifi and toilets available. Wheelchair accessible.

Great cafe to work from for remote workers.

I ordered the chai latte with lactose free cow milk. It was good but just way too sweet. Next time I'll ask for no sugar if possible... not sure if it is a powder though.
Other than that, stable wifi, chill surrounding, and other workers to keep you motivated.

It’s the only place I found that had wifi and outlets. But very often the wifi had a bad connection or didn’t work at all. In winter it’s cold inside. The drinks are bad. I tried a lot of their coffees and didn’t like any. Sometimes the sugar is already added in the drinks and it’s not mentioned in the menu. So I just kept ordering orange juice instead. Some waiters are really nice and some can be rude for no reason.

This was a great spot to spend the day if you need to do some work - they have strong wifi and a good amount of tables with some outlets available. I got a cappuccino with oat milk and can’t say I’d come back for the coffee though - not sure if it was the oat milk or the espresso but just wasn’t my favorite.

A kinda North American style coffee shop. I enjoyed a decent cold brew from here. There were a few people working from the cafe when I visited.

I agree with Ambrose below. The coffee milk was burnt, the coffee itself tasted bland, way too hot, no care or training for prep of coffee, definitely not a barista, the cookie tasted like it was a week old. Free wifi and air-conditioning I guess. Not a place for coffee and should re-look at its shop name.

Has outlets if you are working on your computer! I liked the second floor area. One of few coffee shops I found in Rio where a lot of people were working on laptops.

It's a nice place, with a cute hipster vibe that makes you want to pull out your laptop and get a little productive. The cakes are delicious, the smoothies and juices are good, however, the coffee is a bit pricey, especially considering the small size (and the fact that a third of it is foam). Go check it out, choose a cake that looks nice, and sip your coffee slowly so it lasts.
Some people complain about the service, but in our case, the girl was attentive and quick.

The place is quiet, perfect for chatting, using your laptop, and enjoying slices of cake with coffee.
