Cuatro Coffee

This coffee shop is unique in its way. We ordered late, and it was better than Starbucks and also not pricy.

The owner of the store and all working here are super friendly and polite. We like the atmosphere.

Have you ever wanted to feel the ambience of what a true cafe experience should be like? Well Cuatro is truly the cafe you need to get that experience !! The cafe itself has a very modern rustic style with ambient lighting and high ceiling. Not to mention it’s impeccable cleanliness . The music is quite tasteful and gives you all the feels . You can study or read quietly in the cafe and there s free wifi !!!! Friends can meet up to socialize and have privacy while at same time feel cozy and comfortable. They have a wide array of amazing baked goods that taste so yummy and lots of specialty coffee options that will keep you bedazzled . If you need breakfast options they have it too !! I really love going to cuatro , in the fall I love their pumpkin pecan muffin top which is always sold out ! The treats are so delicious and so many to choose from ! I have been going to cuatro for years now and I love supporting locally owned family business’s. The owners are whole heartedly warm, kind and inviting. The husband is always joyful and ready for a chat ! Makes you feel like family . And to add some sweetness to that the wife is so sweet and generous as well. The staff are lovely and pay attention to every detail to satisfy their customers needs. I highly recommend Cuatro if you haven’t tried it and you won’t regret it !!

Good Day, Yesterday I had the worst experience in Cuatro Coffee. I had very important professional meeting around 5 pm and meeting point decided Cuatro Coffee around 5 pm. When I arrived the coffee shop door was open and as soon as I enter shop the owner was very unprofessional, rude, angry, agitated and discourteous. He told me coffee shop is closed at 5pm. I told him according to website its working hours are till 6 pm and I have important meeting. The owner was so rude and told me that he has decided to closed at 5 pm because of some rennovation in the shop. He told me to go outside and stand outside the shop in the cold winter. Morever he told me he does not think necesssary to inform public on website that there is a no need to update working hours on the website. I travel all the way from downtown Vancouver just to attend the meeting. This was my first and the last visit to this place. It was horrible and worst expereience. DO NOT recommend public this place at all.

The chipotle chicken panini is sooo good. It's not a lot of food for the price it's at. But it definitely tastes great.
The coffee I enjoy.
They have a points system but it's not really advertised. Which a good thing and a bad thing. Bc i dont like when shops always skip if you have or want their points card (the positive) but the negative is for the people who come often and dont know about it .
It's a nice cozy place for meetings, lunch, or working.
When the blinds are open the cafe is nice and warm but when they are shut the cafe is really really cold. So bring a sweater just in case.
I definitely love going there to work and would recommend it to others.

Wonderful little place.
I have anxiety so it's very hard for me to adapt to staying in a place with new people and a new environment. I tend to go in and go out. Not the type to sit.

But I had just come from the She's fit a short walk away and needed to relax a little before returning. Sure, I was uncomfortable the first few times, but now it's my go to place to relax and work.

The people are kind and very polite, they have an interesting variety and if you don't like something they have many other things to try! Their pastries are so good... I feel calm here. It took me only a few visits to get comfortable.

I always tend to get matcha and an orzo pasta salad every Saturday I come. The atmosphere is so nice and the set up is so quaint! The area is small but doesn't feel TOO cramped.

They have an outlet with two holes for the laptop users, (currently including me).

I'm working on my nanowrimo (national novel writing month project) here at the moment and figured I'd add this in while I'm feeling in the mood to write.

One last thing.

I often deal with mild relapses in an eating disorder. Once, I mentioned I hadn't eaten breakfast while ordering the orzo pasta. She... Kinda scolded me? Saying something along the lines of "that's over twelve hours without food! You gotta eat!" Before giving me the debit machine. That... Stuck with me I guess? I'm just some random person, you don't need to be concerned. But... I come here a lot on the days I'm having trouble eating. Or at least near the area. So thanks... Whoever that was. You helped me in ways you don't know.

The power of positive association!!

I came here with my groupmate on a Tuesday afternoon to work on our Chemistry project!

Atmosphere:
I adore how cozy environment this cafe offered! It wasn't too busy when we got there and the noise level was reasonable, allowing us to discuss what we needed to complete easily. The seats especially were comfortable, allowing us to work for longer periods of time. Though not very visible, outlets were accessible for laptops. Cuatro was an incredible place to study at and I can definitely see myself coming back.

Service:
The barista serving us was so kind and patient with us. It looked like she was the only person working at the time, and I really appreciate how hardworking she appeared while trying to give us the best experience at Cuatro as possible!

Drinks:
I got a hot vanilla caramel latte and my groupmate got a matcha latte. My drink was rich in flavour and I was able to taste both the coffee and what was added quite well! My groupmate said that his matcha was one of the best he's gotten in the area. It gave a strong earthy, umami flavour that he really enjoyed.
I also want to point out how well done the latte art was! My eyes sparkled when we got our drinks and I immediately took out my phone to take a picture.

First time there to cram a few assignments and notes, their ube roll cake was nice-- iced matcha was pretty good. Also aye, free wifi and pretty close to saveonfoods! Just that I kinda felt stared at in moments by a staff or two, but oh well. Would recommend !!

My stars are a bit low because I expected something much nice after a high rating and many good reviews. I still put 4 as I don’t want to spoil the rating. We visited last week, it was already a bit cold outside but inside was even cooler because of AC. The place is small, but it looks more spacious on the pics. They didn’t have many options to eat esp with chicken , but their chicken sandwich though was tasty 👍 Americano wasn’t good, tasted like water. My drink I don’t remember the name (it was something seasonal) was too sweet, even I asked half sweet. The girl serving us was nice, that’s why also I keep 4 * 🙂
Parking is not an issue over there (free). I saw people who were working on their laptops , I guess it can be a good place for work or studies, quiet.

Tastes great after being toasted, would come back!

Great coffee and nice people working here. I ordered the English toffee latte and it is quiet tasty. Lovely latte art by the barista and quick service when I went. There is a lot of options for different specialty drinks, I would definitely come here again to try out their different drinks.

The cafe is nice despite renovations and the staff were wonderful. wifi was stable and fast. Unfortunately I did not enjoy the small cappuccino I ordered. There was so much milk that I really couldn't taste the espresso, my tongue was constantly coated in lactose. The barista seemed skilled (the shot looked good), and they use timbertrain beans, but the cup sizes are more like McDonald's rather than a high end cafe.

Hi I had to go to life labs at 6.30 am and after that I went to this beautiful coffee shop the gentlemen working there was very kind I had my coffee and the store is beautifully done inside a great place to come and have something eat and enjoyed a great cup of coffee

the Barista seemed uneducated about the coffee making process. Ordered a London fog and the barista let the tea seep in there for about 10 seconds and the steamed milk had big bubbles. On top of that, I specifically told them to use whole milk, which I doubt they did. However, the atmosphere is nice, the wifi is good and the baked goods are fresh.
