Kaffina Coffee

Thank the coffee gods that I found this little gem of a third wave coffee shop!! Nice atmosphere and a place I could definitely work on my laptop for a while, yummy chocolate banana muffins and baristas that are friendly and knowledgeable. Great to see a place out this way that is showcasing different brewing methods to give you a fantastic cup of coffee :) enjoy!

Both the service and drink were very disappointing. The milk in the iced latte was overpowering, and I could barely taste any coffee. This was my first time here, and I chose this café as a place to study. However, after purchasing my coffee and settling down, I found out that their Wi-Fi wasn't working. I let them know about the Wi-Fi issue, but the staff and even the owner didn't seem interested in fixing it. I ended up leaving and felt like I wasted my time there. It's really funny that I even gave an extra tip when buying my coffee, but received zero service.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but a café WITHOUT Wi-Fi is simply unacceptable. There are plenty of other cafés in the South Surrey area, and I definitely won't be returning to this one. I strongly advise anyone not to waste their time and money here.

This cafe used to be called Good Day Sunshine. It's the perfect place for studying or getting work done. They have plenty of power outlets and free wifi. Tons of beverage choices including JJ bean coffee. They also have a machine that prints cute graphics on your latte.

Nice coffee shop with some fresh pastries and sandwiches. Hanging out while getting my vehicle fixed at Canadian Tire. Quiet place to work on your laptop.

Went here with my partner to get a bit of work done on the weekend.

The gentlemen not sure if he was the owner, but he was super nice and knowledgeable about his coffees!
He knew everyone and was able to explain the cold brew machine.
Seeing the drip coffee in house was definitely something different to this place.🌟
The atmosphere was very open and spacious.
You can definitely see the effort in terms of the layout of the merchandise.
Additionally, they had some cushions if the chairs were a bit uncomfortable 😬
The ice matcha Latte omg !! Yes, it was so good, definitely my favorite !!
The washroom was well maintained and had aveeno lotions 🅰️➕️
They also have signs to see if the table is clean or not with wifi password on it. 📶

In the corner, we're some comfy chairs, but maybe some blinds there would be nice to adjust the sun away would be good.

Overall, take away this place is definitely recommended if you are in the area 👌👌

Very thoughtful and friendly staff, great coffee and treats. You should come here if you need to work with a laptop. Affordable treats and coffee, there's a great atmosphere and great music, overall this is definitely the best cafe I have ever been to.

This place was just a stop on our way back to the states and I was not disappointment.

Chris was extremely friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to coffee.

The atmosphere was very nice and open. I forgot to check on wifi so I assume they have it but don’t actually know. There was plenty of seats and lots of light.

I had an Ethiopian pour over and it was really light and nice. Not as bold as I’m used to but it was still smooth and the flavor notes still pop as the coffee cooled.

Overall I was very happy and I’d be back if I lived here.

My favourite coffee place in Surrey. Simply best coffee. Also a good place to sit with a laptop.

EDIT: Since I left this review the cafe has changed ownership and the quality of the coffee has gone down a bit, they also no longer offer pour-overs and it's clear that the coffee isn't as much of a focus. The overall vibe is still good and service is friendly, but I wouldn't say this is a coffee destination anymore. Also the wifi is terrible and not suited for work/studying.

Excellent little coffee shop in South Surrey. It really stands out for two reasons: they have great coffee and great service. I was recently in for some coffee and they served me some amazing pour-over. Chris, one of the baristas, explained the whole process, taught me a little about coffee beans, and even got me to notice the aromas in the coffee. Their pastries are also delicious. The atmosphere of this place is very cosy and they have a lot of seating. It really is the perfect place to study or just to go for coffee! Overall, would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a change of pace from Timmies or Starbucks coffee!

regular, i usually get the dalgona matcha latte. it’s not on the main menu anymore but it’s my favorite place to get matcha. you have to ask to get it properly mixed or there will be chunks of matcha in the drink which isn’t pleasant to bite into!

it seems their phone number isn’t working so you can’t really do pickups but that’s not a huge problem. love the matcha!!

First visit today, and I wish I was in the neighbourhood and not just passing through. Our drinks were exceptional! Thoroughly enjoyed the lavender fog and the seasonal pumpkin turmeric fog. The staff member was very friendly even though she seemed to be working alone and very very busy with a full cafe and lineup, our drinks were spot on! Great work! :)

The coffee is amazing and with the newly completed renovations a wonderful location to study or have coffee with a friend as it is quiet. Only drawback is having to wait a bit to get your order sometimes (if it is busy and only one person working). Teas are good and have some food available as well. Friendly staff and very clean. The perfect little getaway to enjoy a good cup of coffee in a lovely atmosphere.

I went here after seeing their sign and in the Starbucks drive thru line up. Honestly it was delicious! I got biscotti and a mocha and I'll be back for more. The girl working was always very happy and kind. During this time it is so important to support local small businesses so make a left at the save on, drive past the Staples towards the condos and shops, it's on the left hand side.

This is a great coffee shop! They have really excellent quality coffee and a nice area to sit and chat or study. My suggestion would be to have two staff members working at the same time though, as wait times can be lengthy for coffee, I waited today for over 20 minutes for my coffee.

This is tip level coffee shop. They serve the usual drinks and a little bit of food and pastry. I always go for the pour over when available. It was nearly unbelievable. This place had beans from Yemen I've been waiting for these. Only drawback was that only one person working. The wait was worth it.

Came yesterday with friend to have coffee . The guy working there have no knowledge or no training how to do proper customer service . No greeting , seems like don’t like his job , while making coffee he threw saucers front of us and no apology if it was a mistake . Or might be he treat customer according to their looks . We sat there bit late and he supposed to come and says excuse me we are going to close at 5:30 and every one understands but he just came to our table and pick up the coffee cups without saying anything . We came there and pay 💰 to have coffee so have some respect for the customer .

Just a tip for the baristas working at this location- the face mask is only going to work if it’s covering your mouth AND your nose. Otherwise you may as well just not wear them at all!
