Duckbill - Cookies & Coffee

Good cookie, good coffee, fast wifi. Many people stay here with their laptop, but I felt the manager didn't like that (not sure, it was my feeling).

I have been trying to find a coffee shop to work from in Copacabana for a while. After trying over 10 different places I made Duckbill my work cafe.
The atmosphere is great, it is quiet, good wifi, Air Conditioning, the music is top notch and at the right volume, a huge selection of caffeinated and non caffeinated drinks and their cookies are BOMB 🙌
And I must mention that the staff is super attentive and friendly, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

The worst service. One day someone waited on me and she was mediocre. Hoping for better I went back but it got worst!!! It is as if you are invisible. The guy working there should be fired. If he is the owner he should go out of business.

This cafe is fantastic! The coffee is delicious and great quality, and the cookies are amazing as well. The servers will even walk around with cookies that are fresh baked for you to buy, and they’re perfectly warm and gooey. The servers are very friendly and welcoming, and accommodating to those who don’t speak any Portuguese. The cafe itself is a great place to relax or get work done, with stable wifi and light background music. 100% would recommend!

The cafe is cute, the food was good, the coffee was ok. The server was very nice, but was the only one working, so it was a bit slow. Thankfully we were not in a hurry. If you order a cappuccino, know that it comes sweetened. If you don’t want sugar, you have to specifically ask for a no sugar cappuccino and it looks more like a latte.

I saw amazing reviews about their cookies so I got a traditional one! It was a bit too sweet for my taste but I can see why people love it

I ordered a cappuccino gelado and then a decaf cappuccino. The former had some sort of brown sugar crunch situation?? And that was delicious! The latter tasted a bit watery to me, but I’m not much of a coffee person

I came here to do work because my Airbnb wifi was down, and I sat here for five hours having ordered the three times above and the person who seemed to be the owner or manager was extremely sweet about it! I left as soon as there was only one other open table to make space for other customers. The service can be quite slow, but that’s a pro if you’re trying to stay long (:

My wife and I and some of her family were on vacation in Copacabana and found this spot on Google maps. We are from the United States and enjoy coffee very much. We were so happy to have found this place. The coffee was delicious, I got a traditional Brazilian cappuccino, it was phenomenal!!!Melina was our barista and she was very helpful as we do not speak much Portuguese. The wifi is strong and stable too. To make the visit complete we got a “ChocoMonster” cookie that was delightful!!! Wish we came here sooner in our visit and will definitely come back.

This spot boasts effortless discovery, offering exceptional coffee, delectable cookies, and warmly welcoming staff. With its inviting ambiance and reliable wifi, it's an ideal destination. Plus, what's not to love about a platypus?

saturday morning, the girls working here looked so disconnected and tired that I wanted to say to them “hey, relax, maybe I'll do it all myself?”. the coffee is good, the cookies are okay, the sandwiches are just sandwiches

The small bakery items were very tasty, the espresso was solid the wifi was fast, comfortable chairs, and they have outlets, tho I arrived very early on a Sunday and they didn't have some of the things like servers, drop coffee, press coffee, etc. Even still, a good experience and later in the morning the service was great!

Good food and coffee, great service, the guy spoke English very well! Digital nomads were working here, so the wifi is good as well. Thanks a lot!

Beautiful atmosphere, with air conditioning and fast Wi-Fi. It's an amazing place to spend a very pleasant afternoon, with good food and sensational service! The girls are very friendly and Mariana gave me several good tips, in addition to telling me about the new menu items. I highly recommend it!!!

Great place, great coffee, great service, great music. I was able to work on my laptop there for two hours while drinking coffee without any problems. Recommended.
