Gdańska Palarnia Kawy is such an iconic spot that it hardly needs an introduction. In my opinion, it serves some of the best coffee in Gdańsk. It’s a small, cozy place that focuses on doing the classics exceptionally well. I also ordered some coffee beans for my home espresso machine and was just as impressed with the quality. Highly recommended for anyone who truly appreciates great coffee!
Seriously the best oat cappucino I've ever had! Café is cosy and the girls working are very friendly!
What a caffeinating gem hidden under plenty of leaves, best visited in the early morning hours, when the air is still fresh and the touristic hordes not yet out of bed. I couldn't resist buying some packaged coffee beans as a souvenir.
The baristas are very skilled and every drink is superb. The atmosphere is relaxing and cozy. A truly exceptional cafe
A very cute café located in a quiet area of the old town. The tables outside are under the trees which is nice especially during summer. We ordered a flat white and an iced latte with oat milk and we both loved the drinks.
We ordered drip coffee from Honduras, but unfortunately, it wasn’t great. The coffee tasted as though the beans were burned, and we're not sure if it was brewed properly. On a positive note, the coffee shop has a cozy and cute atmosphere, and the ladies at the front were friendly. However, they never asked us how the coffee was or how our experience was, which would have been a nice touch to maybe fix our coffee.
Its right next to saint Maria's cathedral, the vibe is calm and inviting, soft nice lighting comfortable chairs and just a beautiful place. The service is great, very nice people they do speak english. The food is very tasty, I had a cappuccino and an apple pie and i must say that apple pie altho a bit too sweet for my liking it was great! And the prices are very good even cheap I would say. The cappuccino and apple pie cost me around 32 polish zloty which is very cheap for me at least.
Super nice small coffee place, great view and super quality coffee ☕️
Great little coffee place slightly away from the usual tourist trails. The service was great - very kind and helpful - the coffee tasted great and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed - we sat on the street with our coffee and enjoyed a well earned break from walking. Highly recommended
Nice coffee and staff, coffee beans from local roastery can be bought
Great and consistent pour-over, ask for tasting notes because they might not be characteristic of their origins. Cozy interior, good decor photos, clearly decorated by someone with taste.
Pistachio latte was perfect! A bit of savory taste and sweetness. Cappucino was nice too 😊
Best coffee in town for sure. The cakes are definitely with the extra calories and the outdoor terrace in this lovely spring day is mesmerizing.
Very friendly service, tasty cheese cake ;-))
Waitress was really kind ;-))
Very nice place, we liked all the coffee we ordered 🔥 very atmosphere place with wide range in menu ❤️
A lot of interesting coffee combinations. The staff is very friendly and our order came quick. It is a bit pricey. There’s a lot of tables outside but the inside is a bit cramped.
Very neat and cozy spot for a coffee break! ✨ Had a lovely time here and deffinetly recommend it, coffee was tasty! 😁
Very nice coffee and hot chocolate!! 😊
The hot chocolate I ordered tasted delicious, with plenty of whipped cream on top. Best of all, I could sit outside under a tree with evergreen leaves and drink it while the snow was falling heavily around me.
And it was a very smiley and serviceminded young girl working.
Great spot for coffee break . Highly recommend
2nd best coffee I had in Gdansk. The americano was perfect, the coffee beans not over roasted as at some other places. Highly recommend. The interior is a nostalgic escape from the touristy area, loved the tranquility. Staff was lovely.
Great coffee place right next to the Basilica! I loved their cold brew and they even have a card to collect stamps for a discount or free coffee.
Got coffee and lenonade. First, there is no sign to order at the bar. So we waited, and waited sitting at the table.
Secondly, the coffee got no taste. The lemonade was just sugar and artificial lemon juice. Too much of both.
Nice spot. But other than that I do not recommend.
Absolutely unacceptable service. I walked into this café expecting a decent experience, but what I got was 15 minutes of being completely ignored. Not a single staff member approached me to take my order. Why? Because they were too busy chatting with each other, laughing and socializing like they were at a party, not at work. There were no other customers ahead of me — they just didn’t care. If you’re looking for a place that respects your time and actually serves you, this is not it. Appalling behavior and zero professionalism. Have a great Sunday.
For my taste the amount of coffee been used in the V60 was too small. The filter tasted underextracted. The same for decaf americano. Too much water, too little beans or underextracted. I don’t want to sound too harsh but I don’t feel like they taste their coffees. On the plus side there is a wide variety of beans to pick from. The interior looks like randomly crammed pile of tables and chairs with no thought behind it. You can do better.
Ordered a V60 and my partner got a Cold Brew. Both drinks tasted watery, with almost no coffee flavor. We expected much more from this place.
Very nice calm atmosphere, perfect for breakfast. Many good coffee options and several plant milk options, there are cold drinks. Not that many, but very tasty sweets.
Unfortunately, service spoiled our impression about this place, staff members were rude and when we left building to sit outside we heard them laughing at us. Kettle of tea is the same size as mug of tea but more expensive, they also forgot about me ordering dessert.
We expected to spend nice time together with my friend there but unfortunately this place left bad feelings and insult.
Incredible coffee, tea and overall aesthetics, professional and polite staff. Definitely a must for coffee and tea enthusiasts
It was simply perfect, from the atmosphere, through the service, to the coffee itself. We had Rose Latte, which I recommend very much so
Excellent coffee, very nice personal
ordered rose latte:) staff very friendly
Great coffee, great place, not a crowded chain.
It is incredible place, with delicious coffee and dessert.I am very grateful to Dominika.
Extremely nice crew and the best coffee i’ve had in a while
If you visit Gdańsk you have to come here 💕
Great coffee quality, friendly service, and beautiful interior :)
It’s fine that you don’t speak English, it’s not fine to roll your eyes at a customer, deep sigh and be annoyed. I get that foreign languages can be challenging, but it costs nothing to be nice
Cute coffee place with an outdoor seating area!
Nice, quaint café. The cappuccino was superb
Very rude, and looking at their responses to other comments, it's not just a one time issue. Absolutely delusional
A perfect place. Quiet, peaceful, clean, well-maintained, and interestingly decorated, it's perfect for those at a certain level. A wide selection of coffees and teas, and the staff are always willing to offer advice if you're undecided. Very friendly, too. I highly recommend it and send my best regards. It's worth stopping by for a coffee.
Friendly service and delicious tea. 🫖
I found this cafe by complete accident while walking around Gdańsk. But I'm so glad I did. The interior was very cozy and relaxing. The tea was nice, with a very intense flavor and wonderful aroma. Visit and see if it's worth it 😊
A pleasant spot on the map of Gdańsk. You can enjoy coffee and matcha. They also offer plant-based beverages. Atmospheric. Outdoor seating in the warmer months.
The coffee is excellent. The service is excellent. And the location. I give it 6 stars out of 5 💥😊
I visited this cafe again because there are few places where you can get such good coffee. And the service is excellent.
Very good coffee and cakes. Friendly and helpful service. I recommend it.
There are cafes that scream, and there are those that soothe. Gdańska Roastery Coffee Shop definitely falls into the latter category. Understated, quiet, and incredibly authentic. As for the coffee, we tried their flat white—the perfect balance left us wanting more—we'll be back :)
Sometimes a "regular cafe" is the greatest luxury you can find in Gdańsk. It's worth slowing down for a while ;)
A great place for anyone who truly appreciates good coffee. Gdańska Roasteria Kawy is not just a café, but a space with character and a clear passion for the craft. The coffee is perfectly roasted, aromatic, and served with attention to every detail. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly, happy to advise and tell you more about the beans. The atmosphere is perfect for both work and a quiet get-together. Definitely one of those places you want to return to.
The intense aroma of coffee wafts through the door, making you want to buy it – the coffee itself is also very good. It's conveniently located – not right on the main street, which reduces the traffic. The service is very friendly. I'll definitely be back.
We dropped in by chance while visiting Gdańsk and were pleasantly surprised. The cappuccino was perfectly prepared, and the barista explained the difference between the V60 and the Chemex. It's great to find a place where they truly know their coffee.
