Recommend as a work/ laptop friendly cafe by quite a few articles however do not be mislead they do not have wifi.
The food is tasty, coffee is alright, would not recommend the matcha, either on its own or with the blueberry if you are a matcha drinker it is sub par to say the least especially for the price. The staff is friendly.

Good coffee but noisy and no wifi.

I've been living in Australia for three months, working in Victoria, and I spent six days in Sydney on vacation.
This brunch has become my favorite place since day one, thanks to the atmosphere, the excellent food, and the presentation, but above all, the kindness of the fantastic grace, who pampered me every moment.
Thank you for everything.

Best brunch we have ever had!

The service was amazing and very friendly, kind and smiling. People working here definitely help create a warm atmosphere.

On top of that, the food is absolutely amazing. We got Hollandaise eggs and Fritters. They were the best we ever had. A bit spicy, with very fresh ingredients and a very tasty local twist. Made us wish we could find such good food in London.

I got a Fitzgerald ice coffee, which has a very soft chocolaty taste from Australian waddleseed! I had not tried it before and it is a must try if you love coffee and chocolate. This was the best cold brew coffee I had.

Great cafe with amazing coffee and even better staff. They always try out news beans too so there’s always something different to try.

Just an update. The new Santa Clara Brazil is super good. Thank you to Elsy for being the best and giving me exercise tips and for finding and keeping my laptop safe

Loved my brunch experience! Tried the figs & goats cheese omelette and it was soo good. Also had the Fitzroy Iced Coffee which is a different take on a latte - really enjoyed it! Only thing to note is spacing is limited & there is no wifi so if you are looking to work from this cafe, it might be difficult. Otherwise, staff was very friendly and food was very good!

Wonderful coffee and great calm vibe. A little loud for a perfect study or working spot. Staff are incredibly friendly and eager to help decide what coffee to have.

Try to come here at least a few times a week when working in the CBD. Firstly for the nicely aromatic coffee and tasty almond croissants. Secondly would have to be for the superb friendly service by all the staff. The place is managed by the lovely Elsy who is very attentive to her job and does everything with a smile.

Very distinct beans that makes it my go to for quality & service. They remember your name, coffee order & size. And this is not just one staff but multiple showing they really care about the customers! Always a pleasure.

The best coffee in Sydney CBD!
The place is pristine clean, modern, bright, perfect for working or meeting with friends. It was a hot day so we all ordered iced drinks paired with brunch meal. Our favorite (apart from the drinks!) Is the spicy omelette Barramundi, yum!
The service is top notch. Despite the cafe being busy, all the staff was not just friendly but also attended to all of our need. Will definitely be back

Industry beans cafe is one of the best places to visit the city of Sydney. The people working there (specially Elsy) are super friendly and make me feel really welcome (I visit this cafe regularly). What amazes me the most is how fast they serve my food and coffee. If you want a cozy place with nice folks and quick service, check out this cafe in the heart of the city.

I seriously do not appreciate being told disapprovingly not to use my laptop while I eat (I was not even planning on staying for longer than an average meal). A simple request to move indoors when the next available seat came up was quizzed and frowned upon after I advised them I'd like to keep my electronics dry (spots of water started dropping). I understand you're a busy cafe but this was just plain rude, I'm a paying customer and you would not ask the laptop-less customer to hurry along before they'd even been bloody served. Judging from the other reviews on here this is a consistent pattern of behaviour that the owner has not bothered to fix over 12 months.
Customer service is miles easier to get right than the actual food and if you can't get that right, well you should probably try a different industry.

Used to love this place and the Fitzroy Iced.

Decided to take a few business clients here and ended up regretting it.

My client ordered the Fitzroy Iced and was rudely asked if she wanted it iced or hot. She pointed it out that it said iced, but was rudely told they have to ask. My client ended up with an iced coffee with no sugar. She later asked if there was a bathroom and one of the workers rolled her eyes and said "no" so she ended up wandering around and finding one at the McDonald's nearby.

I was at the counter for several minutes trying to make eye contact with staff to ask them if they had wifi. Eventually I just asked the question and was rudely told "no wifi for customers." No wifi isn't a problem, but the way they responded was.

We asked if we could move our table to the one outside as it was too loud in the cafe. We were told we had to pay for our sit down coffees first "just in case". That was embarrassing for my clients. This is despite us trying to order coffee from the counter in the beginning and being told to sit down as they would come to our table.

Really used to love the coffee here. Shame about the service - wonder if the owners changed?

Best coffee in Sydney. No question. What sets this place above others if you’re not as fussed on coffee is the service. Something must be said about the respect Industry Beans have for their client when they keep their space in such an immaculate condition, and not only the seating area but also the working area. The staff also are the happiest and most sensible humans I’ve experienced in hospitality, and that speaks volumes of the business as a whole. To call this a 5 star establishment is an understatement.

pretentious pompous place, the staff could use to learn some decent customer service or forget that just some decent social skills. How about greeting a customer, esp one for the first time, instead of me hanging around, then asking if i wanted anything,.. 3 staff were working, what do you recon? perhaps a coffee in a coffee shop, ZERO social skills what so over, esp in this climate of low customer numbers, have a bit of a thing guys first and last time there. beggars belief, wish i could give a negative rating.
