I had the shakshukah, and a wafer-like pastry. the wafer-like pastry looked crispy but when i bit into it it was soft. I was a little disappointed with the taste, especially considering the cost.

I would stick to their pastries or baked options rather than the fresh breakfast

I felt dancing on a pizza island surrounded by a truffle mayonnaise sea, the moon witnessing our pizza ritualistic breakfast, the symphony of great pleasure and flavors..
if you have the luck of finding this place, do not forget to mention for Roman, and ask for his pizza special's, indeed he is a specialist.

A real pleasure to start off the day in a happy mood
We ordered salmon toasts, a strawberry pączek, chocolate cake and 2 coffees.
It was a joy all along the experience.
If you are in Gdańsk this is definitely a cafe to check out.
The space inside is very welcoming and cozy. You instantly feel home.

Good place for breakfast!
The variety is not really large, but the cafe starts working very early, which is it’s feature and nice detail.
I love omelettes, one portion is large and tasty, I never managed to finish it! Bread is always fresh and delicious

I came here because I’m searching for an early-morning coffee shop. This place opens at 6 AM (perfect coffee drinking time). Most places in Gdańsk don’t open until around 9 or 10 AM, which makes no sense for a place that sells coffee.

I ordered a cappuccino and a jalapeño quiche. The cappuccino was the perfect size, not too much milk. Italy would be proud. The quiche is really tasty as well. I’ll definitely be back and do some remote working here sometime in the mornings.

This is a very cozy place that offers a good breakfast; we had both egg and bacon and also the omelette; both very good.
They also have bread buns with eggs, vegetables and such; we liked that very much. And they have a selection of sweets; we only tried a blueberrycake and it was really tasty.
The staff is friendly and polite and there is a table service. Some of them speak English; I must mention Marta who speaks English, she was extremely helpful and very nice.
The price is reasonable.

Not your typical coffee place as they serve on of the best cinnamon rolls in the city and their winter tea takes you to spring in 2 sips. Worth trying.

Every time I come I am made to feel special. All staff greet you and are genuinely happy and welcoming. Delicious Sernik and new offering of home made Blackberry Ice cream. Delicious!

We used to visit Mielnik regularly for breakfast about two years ago, as we lived nearby. Since then, we have been visiting this café less and less often. The food is still good, but the service is confusing:
1. It turned out that there is a new way to place an order. We spent around 10-15 min until we realised that and noticed the sign on the table indicating that orders should be placed at the bar. It would be helpful if staff communicate this new rules for guests.
2. We were served sliced white bread instead of the usual wheat-rye rolls. When we asked the waitress if it was possible to have the rolls, she replied that they were not available. However, we noticed that both before and after us, other guests received the rolls as usual. When we kindly asked again, pointing to the neighbouring table that had just been served rolls, the waitress said she wasn’t sure if they had any and would check, which felt confusing. In a moment she brought rolls.
3. Later on, the same waitress brought our order to the neighbouring table, returned, took the plates back saying they were not for them, and in a moment, another waitress brought the same dishes to our table.

Really nice place for breakfast! Fresh food, tasty Coffee and friendly staff!
And prices are really friendly! Absolutely loved!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Kawiarnia Mielnik, and I must say, the experience left a delightful impression. The breakfast I enjoyed was not only delicious but also showcased a unique concept that I truly appreciated. The open kitchen added an element of transparency and excitement to the dining experience, and having a Bäckers conveniently located within the restaurant, where patrons could pick up their goodies, was a brilliant touch.

The food itself was undeniably flavorful, and I savored each bite. However, I couldn't help but feel that there's potential for even greater taste refinement. While the dishes were already enjoyable, I believe there's room for enhancement that could take the culinary offerings to a whole new level. It's clear that the foundation is strong, and with a bit of fine-tuning, Kawiarnia Mielnik could truly become a culinary gem that leaves an indelible mark on one's palate.

What let this place down the most is the slow service. The cakes looked good but the taste was fairly average.

Their breakfast is horrible, very overpriced! They literally served me boiled half avocado with one and one slice of burnt bacon for 30zł! 😂😂😂its a Shame i will never come back!! My husband ordered omelette and it was burnt and cold. Waitresses so rude and waiting time like 40 min! Disgusting place! Really shame

I wish I could give them 4*, for a great atmosphere and quality of food.
I got there for 3 breakfasts in a row before Xmas.
Unfortunately, they failed for the staff without masks(!) in dramatic Polish COVID-19 situation, and the lack of stability of the assortment - every day something was missing. And finally, there wasn't even a croissant to enjoy a nice breakfast - only the heavy stuff like the "English breakfast" 😔

Very well equipped coffeteria and Backery in 3city. Tasty coffee from Manuel, every day various choice of fresh sandwiches,l and juices (to go or in here). You order will be delivered to the table by very nice service. Simply go here and spend good time.

I don’t know what happened to the cafe but the waiters always forgot sth to bring. Also the door was opened, maybe because it was hot on the kitchen, but it was cold in the main area

It was beautifully made, better than what I was asking, and the most important, it tasted delicious! Really happy with the outcome!

The food here is just amazing. The wide variety of pastries and savory dishes is to die for. I would reccomend this to everyone who could go here. Me and my partner have already dined here every morning since coming and the flavours never fail to get old. Its also a great place to pick up some pastries for a little piknik later in the day.

A very pleasant café with a pleasant atmosphere and delicious coffee. Maja deserves a special mention. She's a very kind and warm person.

The jagodzianki are delicious. They're packed with fruit, and the pastry is soft and melts in your mouth. For those looking for a new taste experience, I recommend trying the jagodzianki version with patissière cream. It's a truly wonderful combination and an interesting alternative to the classic version.

Check out what the packages look like on Fat Thursday. The photo shows a Basque doughnut – there's no Fat Thursday, just dough! I received a doughnut for over 13 złoty, without filling! Another one is with a lawyer. Instagram vs. reality... See the comparison. The filling in the purchased doughnut is trace. And unfortunately, the doughnuts aren't super fresh – I bought them to order. The mass production of packages for this day probably distorts their flavor...

These blueberry buns are amazing! The dough is fluffy, the crumbles are generous, and the center is filled with a ton of fruit—a real treat. A huge plus for the incredibly friendly service. Maja, who served us, was incredibly friendly and always smiling, making our visit even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!

When it comes to breakfast, only in Mielnik at Garnizon, delicious, fresh and beautifully served, with a wide selection to choose from, for both children and adults, and fresh bread and cakes that won't fall on your hips 😂😂😂😂😂

Delicious breakfasts, at reasonable prices, adequate to the portions. The buckwheat tea is a special treat. The dog was also well-cared for – a portion of the doggie buffet and a bowl of water. The only downside – in my opinion – is that you can't get a carafe of tap water; it's charged extra.

The quality of the meals does not match the price - in Garnizon you can eat a better breakfast anywhere for 50 PLN :)

A wonderful place with a friendly atmosphere and good food. The rolls and croissants are generously filled and beautifully presented. There's a wide selection of drinks and pastries, plenty of space, and it's dog-friendly. You can eat in or take away.

I'm extremely dissatisfied with my visit! The coffee was awful, but probably even worse than the 22 złoty hot chocolate – it's hard to imagine anything worse. The drink was completely different from what was described on the menu. It was simply water mixed with Nesquik, not real chocolate from the brand advertised on the menu. Furthermore, it was served cold, not hot as it should be, and had the consistency of water…((
I won't be returning to Melnik and I won't be recommending it to friends either because of the filth. We were there in the first half of Sunday, and the tables were already dirty, full of crumbs, everything… everything was sticky and unsightly. The restroom was the same – no toilet paper or paper towels!
I haven't had such a negative experience in a long time. I left this place in a very bad mood. I don't recommend it 👎

I'm a frequent visitor and love your blueberry cakes! I'd especially like to give a special mention to Julia, who always provides top-notch service. She's incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and always has a smile on her face, and always has great advice.

I wish more people like her worked in other cafes! I'll be happy to return—not only for the delicious blueberry cakes, but also to be served by Julia again.

A café with sweet snacks and more. You can order a slice of pizza, a toasted sandwich, or buy a breakfast roll or toast. It's a nice place with affordable prices. It's okay, but it's not a feast of flavors. As befits a café, it offers a variety of coffees and drinks. You can eat on site, and it's accessible to people with disabilities.

Delicious cakes, pastries, and bread! The best of all the ones I've tried at Garnizon. A very large selection of breads and sweets.

The staff was incredibly friendly ☺️ Natalia greeted us at the door and recommended delicious blueberry clouds, which were a perfect fit for our palate. We also highly recommend buying sandwiches and savory snacks from Mr. Romek, who can help you choose a snack to suit your taste.

We've had a few mishaps before, but I didn't write about it because we'd temporarily moved to other restaurants in Garnizon. Unfortunately, today something tempted us and we returned. And so, to start, we were very politely served two cold kisch :)) We asked for it to be warmed up, which took about 10 minutes. The second kisch – the lady clearing the plates from the table during our meal – left a cloth on the table instead, I don't know what it was, but it was lying right in front of me :)) In the end, we didn't receive the cake we ordered, and we had to ask for the receipt because we weren't trustworthy enough for the cashier anymore, but somehow we managed to get the cake back. On the plus side, the pancakes were delicious, and luckily, today there was a change at the cashier, so we could at least order in Polish, as the last time we were served by a "clotheswoman" whose language was difficult to understand. I definitely don't recommend it!

Absolutely, utterly, and without question, the best bakery/breakfast café in Gdańsk, if not the entire Tricity area. In almost three years of living in the Garrison district, I've never been disappointed here, whether eating in or taking baked goods home. I could always come here knowing I'd leave satisfied and full. The service is also rarely disappointing, although unfortunately, due to the place's popularity, it's not always up to par.

The food was a complete disappointment. The pastas were tasteless, the mushroom pasta was a disappointment, and the guacamole was also average. The English breakfast included two tiny pieces of frankfurters and one tiny white sausage. The prices were really high considering the quantity and quality of the dishes. The coffee was tasty, too. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.

We've been with the Mielnik bakery and café in Garnizon for a very long time, and we'd love to recommend it to everyone! We've tried just about everything here—the rolls, breads, gluten-free products, sweet and savory baked goods, cakes, ice cream, breakfasts, coffees, and matchas! And we've never been disappointed with any of them. 🤍
I especially recommend the raspberry pudding cakes and blueberry cakes in the summer... they're truly DELICIOUS! There wasn't a day without one of them during the holidays. 🤍
And in the fall and winter, as a huge fan of cinnamon buns who's probably tried them in every café in the Tricity area, I can honestly say that the ones at Mielnik are simply the best! THE BEST! They're fluffy and stay fresh for a very long time, even the next day they're truly delicious! Every item is worth trying, whether it's chocolate with Nutella, Lotus cream, or pecans, but the classic ones... I'm speechless! Go ahead and try them, you won't be disappointed! We highly recommend them! 🤍

The place seemed normal, but unfortunately, I left very disappointed with both the food, the service, and the chatter... nonsense about the staff being sorry I wouldn't be coming back. The ingredients for that awful snack were missing. Besides, the tables were dirty and covered with dishes from long-gone guests, forcing me to take a comfortable seat. But I didn't know that the proximity to the restroom, which was frequented by a large number of staff, would be a nightmare! The waitress left the door wide open (after using it!!!), serving us a tragic "aromatherapy" experience. The staff was completely clueless, self-absorbed, and surprised that the cold drip coffee didn't taste good.

Of course, there's no accounting for taste, but there is for service, and Mielnik is wonderful in that regard! The ladies are always smiling, kind, and willing to help. There's never a situation where they can't do something, and that's why I'm always happy with my experience at the café, even if they don't have my cake. 😀 I highly recommend it!
