Kick Butt Coffee

Stopped in for a cup of coffee and to start my work day. The atmosphere was my favorite part. I enjoyed the delicious breakfast sandwich and pecan cold brew. Zero complains. Keep up the good work. I'll see you soon.

Def don’t come here to work lol. Its loud af and I was there mid day. It’s cute inside but the barista w dreads was a lil stand off ish. I asked him what the wifi was and he made it seem like I was annoying asking when it isn’t posted anywhere. He also went around and talked to everyone sitting but me? Also the owner and him were seemingly talking trash on someone who had applied there on the floor from what I heard but I may be wrong since it’s so loud. Not to mention the mosquitoes were eating me alive. Wish the people were nicer ultimately. I would go back nonstop and with friends because it’s a vibe, has shows, cute also a block away from me but turned off forsure from the personality of the workers.

Awesome atmosphere, delicious food, and chill staff. Definitely found my new work lunch spot.

First time stopping into Kickbutt Coffee - ordered a hot Carmel mocha with almond milk which was delicious. Was hoping to get some work done however could not connect to the wifi even with the password they shared. Decent food options. ☕️

Stopped for coffee and light meal and Wi-Fi while running errands in the neighborhood. Good vibes of people chatting and a few guys working on laptops. My latte was good, cranberry walnut muffin huge and amazing, and the “Bloodwork Orange” local beer I bought on impulse rounded out my snacking 😋

I'm only reviewing this in context of getting to see punk shows there.
If you watch a video of one and see a luna-tic flopping around in front of the stage, well that's me.

At any rate: somehow they've pulled it off where, the kind of shows I'd have only ever seen at a dive bar in the old days...
I see at a place that doesn't smell of urine and we don't have to escort the ladies to their cars because of the aggressive amongst the homeless (!kinda miss the fights but, I'm certifiable).
You can turn around and... It's nice.
There's a guy live-producing not just the sound mix, but videos.
There's people outside having nice chats.
Not being downtown, they aren't on edge of ' which group of drunk jerks are going to come try to get beat up next ' - which I understand wasn't actually the highlight of most folks weekends, supposedly.
You'd think none of this would work.
Juxtapose.
Yet, they pull it off.
Though a word to the wise: if you're gonna use the bathroom for your motel, keep in mind the same courtesy you ignoring, is the courtesy that keeps me from just kicking on in and taking my dump right on ya.
Don't test me again, I ain't always so forgiving.

Damn fools testing the politeness of crazy people however seems to be the odd exception not the rule,
Which I think says a lot.
To make all this somehow work?
They got something special going.
