A nice stop for some coffee and cakes. Their menu is small but perfect for a light bite. Friendly staff too!

A small homey cafe toward the old town area. The staff are nice and speak English. I had the latte and cheese cake to go. The coffee was ok, and the cheesecake was delicious and good. I found the price for the cakes quite high, I guess it's due to the area but surprising. A small latte and cake cost 37, which can be higher than some main course meals.

Lovely cafe! I ordered the Sesame Street coffee and matcha cookie. They were absolutely delicious and the only reason I gave four stars is because the coffee Was lukewarm. I like my coffee very hot, where it has a chance to cool down. This temperature was as if I was letting it sit for about 10 minutes. The taste was wonderful, but the temperature was not. Otherwise, highly recommend and I would definitely come back here, would just ask for a hotter coffee.

Great little coffee spot in the heart of downtown!
We tried the cappuccino, matcha, and a cookie — everything was delicious. The decor is cozy and stylish, creating a warm and welcoming vibe. Service was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be coming back!

Cozy place with a very beautiful story - the name tells the story of mother and daughter, who founded it and continuously work on delivering the best service. This is one of my favorite coffee places - you can find indeed huge variety of different infusions, teas, coffee drinks. The available cakes differ each day, though they look may disappoint- sometimes they look a bit too “homemade”, though still taste delicious. My personal favorite is red velvet and carrot cake :)
As for the coffee, I love the one with milk and honey and the one with peanuts (The Nutcracker coffee).
Overall great place in the city center.
Btw, amazing terrace decoration - always attention grabbing ♥️

I was at the cafe exactly two times.
The first time I was there to get a Matcha was good. I ordered a matcho to go at the counter and immediately got it. Matcha price is quite high but that is the norm nowadays I guess. For the price the matcha was a 7/10.
The second time I visited the cafe was a experience. I went into the cafe. 2 workers we're staying at the counter and talking. It was not busy and I might have been the only one at that time. When I went to the counter the worker gave me a menu and told me to sit down and that someone comes to the table immediately. After 5 minutes still know one came and they just talked about their personal lives instead of serving me. As I wa sin a bit of a rush I left. Matcha is ok. Service at least the second time was just bad.
I found a very good matcha just next to the cafe at Sips. Would recommend l.

I stumbled upon this charming cafe randomly as I was passing by. From the outside, it looks small, but once I stepped in, the space was larger than expected. The interior design is very cozy and cute. They also have power outlets available for charging phones.

Location-wise, it's very close to the old town, yet not on the main street, so it isn't crowded.

I ordered a cappuccino and a savory pie, both of which were delicious. The prices are quite reasonable.

Tasty apple pie in a jar and sernik

giouli botsi30.10.2026

We came at the cafe 4 times at our visit in Gdansk. Everything we drunk and ate was amazing!
The forst time we took the ny cheesecake and the applepie with our coffee. All amazing!
The second time we just ordered coffee.
The third time we ordered the blueberrie cheescake that we saw that came the previous day and it was very tasteful and the fourth time we ordered the meat pie which came with salad and an amazing yogurt sauce with dill.

The people working here are delightful, very kind and helpful! excellent service!

The owner is super nice and friendly!
Recommended for sure and if i ever come in town surely i will come back!

Thank you!

A must must visit in Gdansk, Poland
There desserts are wickedly delicious. The spinach cake that I had for the first time in my life was outrageously tasty. The vegetarian tart was superb. There is a wide range of good coffees to choose from.
The decor is beautifully done with some warm and cosy corners created for comfortable seating. Each corner is differently designed making it so unique.
The staff is warm and shall help you with their suggestions.

I discovered this on my last night here but I am.sure I shall be back here soon.

Kate Baelish30.10.2026

Nice place with good coffee, some variety of drinks and cakes. Found a place for 3 people without problem on the front, although it seems like there is another room hidden inside.

emma brännholm30.10.2026

Cute place.
we find the sweets in Poland not so sweet, we are used to much more sugar in Sweden, but we had a great visit at this cafe :) match and plant milk on the menu <3

SM30.10.2026

It’s not a must to visit when you’re in Gdańsk. The pastries do not look presentable. The drinks tasted good. Good number of tables and seating arrangements available.

Ania S30.10.2026

Great drink choices and cozy atmosphere, I stumbled upon it by accident when on my way to ulica Mariacka and had the honey raspberry mix hot tea. It was delicious and already I'm craving another!
My polish is also not fluent and the staff accommodated this and there is an English menu for those who may need it.
I recommend this place for anybody who wants different choices to the regular cafes.

Patrik Balvín30.10.2026

The coffee house is well-placed near the center, with a cozy interior and a huge selection of options for coffee, tea, and desserts. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, although I would suggest improving the speed of service. If needed, you can request an English menu, and the staff are friendly.

lill30.10.2026

The staff were incredibly friendly, the food and drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was really nice. They also had board games, so we could play and have a great time 💞

Domino Bušek30.10.2026

Although the café doesn’t look very inviting from the outside, the interior is beautifully done. We stumbled upon this place by accident, just a short walk from the busy main street full of people. The coffee was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy – the perfect spot for a relaxing break. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Tana K30.10.2026

Not many "real" cafes in Gdansk and hence for that reason this cafe gets 5*.

Has wifi, a good selection of drinks and a nice vibe where one can quietly read and chill. Very pretty and cosy.

They mostly have cheesecakes so i went for the hot choc. They serve real hot choc (as in NOT powder but melted choc) hence it's quite rich, which explains the price tag (13 PLN).

Rebecca Heggs30.10.2026

Went here twice in my two day trip to Gdansk to try the cool and unique coffees. I had the Vietnamese iced coffee and the coconut ice cream coffee, both were delicious. Nice atmosphere too.

Sonia F30.10.2026

Both times I went the matcha was made nicely, wit a good flavor. The people working there are really nice, I recommend!!

Przemysław Filip Naumienko30.10.2026

Great place to rest with cup of coffee and piece of cake. You can find here really wide variety of coffee from classic espresso and cappuccino up to new wave of modern coffee from Aero press or Chemex. Cakes are great and fresh. Interior is nice and cozy. You can find here books and board games depends on what you need. I highly recommend together with whole family! If was great time.

Katarzyna30.10.2026

None ever made such latte in this planet 😋 They have also fresh, délictueux cakes, ice-cream, fresh juices. Place has quiet atmosphère, Light musique at the background. Recommend!! Great place for familles.

Pablo30.10.2026

Very cozy place where you can have a really nice coffee/ tea. The armosphere is calm and comfortable. Moreover there are several board games that, even though they are in polish, you ca find some you can play as for instance carcassone, tabu,…
Nice place to visit if you are in Gdansk

ميهو30.10.2026

Looked very popular to local people. Big variety of coffee. Nice interior. Cost cafe on the backstreet. Cappuccino was very good. Famouse cinnamon and honey cheese cake was was okay. Not tastier than I expected. Maybe it was too big for me. full of cream but not too sweet (if it was very sweet I won't be able to eat everything up). You need to go to the casher to order. Friendly staff.

endless river30.10.2026

Welcoming staff, beautiful interior & excellent desserts. Wide range of tea to taste. The music could be selected more nicely, feels sometimes like I'm in a shopping mall 😅

Cakes are 🙏

Milos Stipcic30.10.2026

Coffee is really good and there's a good variety, just as cakes that goes with it. Atmosphere is relaxed and easy. Example of slow food

justin maury30.10.2026

Mariana30.10.2026

Tsu Me30.10.2026

I love to take my friends there, the staff is super kind and the pies/cakes are very tasty!

Sonya Shteyn30.10.2026

Never had a matcha-chai before but it was the best thing ever. Great vibes and super friendly service😊

Kasia Chwiejczak30.10.2026

The coffee was good, but nothing special (I really like a good brew). However the cheesecake (matcha flavour) was a huge disappointment. I was really hopeful after reading previous reviews. The base was very wet and gummy, with black dust on it and unpleasant flavour. The cheese very wet, the texture was like cream, nothing like a home made cheesecake. I love cheesecake and this one was so bad that I didn’t finish. I really wish that coffee shops didn’t follow the American way of preparing cakes- traditional Polish recipes are way better.

jean dewitt30.10.2026

wonderful place with pleasant atmosphere and great quality of drinks and sweets! also wonderfull people work here, always cheerful and kind :) thank you!!

Sadek the Wombat30.10.2026

Absolutely love this cafe in Gdańsk! It's become a regular favourite for us. Every visit is a fantastic experience, and yesterday was no different. We enjoyed sitting outside in the shade on a quiet street. The tonic espresso was perfect, and the cake was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this spot!

Khaled Karanouh30.10.2026

Lovely place with many kinds of different coffees. And extraordinary sweets. Very friendly service.

Bob van Mierlo30.10.2026

Great coffee and fantastic cakes. Had the apple pie in a jar which was really good.

Elina Polemidiotou30.10.2026

Superb quality cakes and coffee. We tried the apple crumble with ice cream and cheesecake with blueberries and crumble. Service was a bit slow, but all fine.

Sylwia Konik30.10.2026

Amazing desserts! Great chocolate cake and apple dessert with ice cream; cosy place,

Nataliia Lohvinenko30.10.2026

Terrible place!
We were visiting this place to have a dessert. Interior looks like was created out of flea market. Service was not good: half of menu was unavailable, they didn't not what they have and to bring already cutted cheesecake take them 15 minutes! We got a cheesecake with slice of orange on top and coffee. But the worst part was both me and my got TERRIBLE FOOD POISONING! I thought it is not possible nowadays but here they are poisoning people for their own money. Not recommending! Stay away for your own goods!

Urban Folders & Flann30.10.2026

We chose this place based on reviews on Google Maps, but the rating didn't match reality. First of all, it wasn't clear whether it was a cafe with service or not. We assumed, like in most cafes, that it would be a cafe with service, but that probably wasn't a good assumption. After a long wait, my wife went to the counter, because no one, really no one, paid any attention to us, and not only us. And I'm not talking about the menu, it wasn't anything special, but that probably wouldn't have mattered if it weren't for the strange service, or rather the lack of service.

Sarolta Knorr30.10.2026

We sat here for a coffee during our discovery walk in Gdansk old town. The place itself cozy and has a friendly, warm design, too bad that we cannot tell the same of the young lady who was serving us. (We felt from her attitude when we arrived that why are we also here she doesn’t want more guests around…) The coffee itself was very tasty (but at the same time they ask really the price for it..) and btw the cakes looked very yummy, but we didn’t try those as we were full with lunch still.

Anka Budniok30.10.2026

All I can say is after reading all those good reviews I was disappointed.
Pink Velvet cake was acceptable (but too bland) but chai latte was just a warm milk with minimum of spices (where is the tea? Where is the taste?).
The service was okay, although the waiter was a bit lost - not many people in cafeteria, yet we waited very long to order and he approached first people that took table after us.
I will not come back, seems overhyped.

Marta Garcia30.10.2026

WILL NOT RECOMMEND. We were a group of 8 friends and they were super welcoming with us at first, but then, aparte from their prices being expensive they told us that we will be charge a 10% extra fee for being a "big" group, although we were not seating together and we were splitting the bill.
