Stopped in for a hot drink. Unique place and a great example of repurposing space. We found the service to be a little slow for 2 coffees and a slice of banana bread and the bread was a little on the dry side. Prices were very reasonable across the menu. Not convinced by the music which didn't scream "tension-free zone" and must be an unwritten rule for patrons to own a MacBook. Much like the exit sign itself I was grimacing as I left.
The exhibition was amazing and the coffee was really good. However, we were told that we couldn’t order food while sitting on the sofas, which honestly made no sense to me. Such a strange and unnecessary rule. Other than that, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the exhibition.
Danzig airs in a stark minimalist shabby lounge dreamwave cavern. Amsterdam 30 years ago but w wifi and designer matchas. Dapper Kafka meets early 80’s Madonna, a pouty Bukowski meets the sweet scent od Chanel. Drift away, walk into the sun.
A very nice ambient, with an industrial character. Wideo choice of drinks, I enjoyed the soba cha and the view :)
Great concept, high quality specialty coffee and matcha. My personal favorite were Japanese-style sando sandwiches. If you’re in the Stocznia area, stop for a visit.
Plenum is a great place for breakfast! You can feel that products are always fresh and high quality, the menu is nice, featuring vegetarian options. The dishes are served rather fast and nicely.
The only detail I didn’t like is the noise, when the space hosts some event, the music is loud and it’s a bit uncomfortable. But the atmosphere is always artistic and freaky and probably that’s how it is supposed to be :)
After a long day of exploring the city, I stopped by Plenum for a coffee break. It is very artistic, almost like being inside an art gallery. I ordered a lactose-free latte for 18 zł, which was creamy and well balanced. I was hoping to try their desserts, but around 3 pm they only had sesame seed cookies available. Even so, the staff was very friendly and the overall vibe makes it a great place for remote work or simply to take a relaxing break.
Cool industrial style place with very good coffee & delicious sandwiches (especially the egg sandwich!)
Came here. Not so much people.
8 workers available for such small cafe.
Only one couple in front of us talking with one worker.
worker looks at us and says "keep distance" (we were 1.5m behind Covid style).
Gave us a menu after a minute and immediately asked 3 times "are you ready?".
We asked for two drinks.
worker mentioned something like "we need to manage the situation" (8 workers for 15 coffee drinkers should be enough IMO).
Waited for 30m and drinks never came. No one came to the table to ask or let us know if they were making them.
I guess they need more employees if 6 cant handle it.
we waited 14' for them to bring us two coffees when asked ,we received attitude from young waitresses . not good not good at all maybe they are feel too cool for serving ( here's a tip, it's your job) or maybe you can't say anything nowadays to young people even speaking politely.
Great place to have a breakfast/lunch. It has kind of hipster atmosphere, but it doesn’t make it bad anyhow. Love danish with pineapples
Plenum is a great spot for breakfast in Gdańsk. The menu has a good variety of options, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy, and the best part is that breakfast is available throughout the whole day 😊. The food is tasty and nicely presented, though I do find the prices for both food and wine a bit on the higher side. The venue itself is impressive – a huge hall with lots of space, tables with chairs, armachairs or sofas and lovely music in the background. It can get noisy at times when it’s busy, but that comes with the lively atmosphere. Service was generally fine, although my side of scrambled eggs was forgotten with the order 🤭, and the coffee delivery (two Americanos – one hot, one iced) took a little longer than expected. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning.
Overall, a stylish place with good breakfast choices – perfect if you don’t mind paying a little extra.
Pleasant experience. Nice location, staff, atmosphere, and food. The food was well-balanced, simple, but tasty.
The bread was excellent, and the tataki beef had a wonderful texture, with a pleasant chewiness that allowed you to savor each bite. The sauce was bright but not distracting or intrusive.
The butter service was also nice, with surprising bread crumbs on top.
The cortado had a nice acidity, but unfortunately I can’t say which beans were used on the day I was there.
The open kitchen is always a beautiful addition to a restaurant.
Overall, this is a great place to eat. Thanks!
I was recommended to this coffee spot and I’m no kidding…it was the best coffee I’ve had in all of Europe. Julia one of the baristas helped me decide which coffee to try and nailed it. She brought out the coffee so quick and helped me quench my hunger by recommending this sandwich. Not the biggest fan of tuna but she was right…it’s a must try. Later a friendly dog came to say hello. All and all, the atmosphere was 5/5 with the art displays and view of the river. Julia helped the local coffee spot feel comfy to come back the rest of the week. Let alone the coffee being top notch for my American taste buds
Cool industrial spot with very good beverages. The peanut butter coffee was amazing!!!
Such a beautifully designed space. The food was delicious and the selection is amazing. It’s the type of place I’ll definitely return to!🥰
Super place! If you’re looking for something interesting you should visit this place! Tasty food and drinks.
I found only one smaaaall minus: ordered sandwich with tuna and it was really spicy! And it surprised me because (this is not mentioned anywhere):)
Ondo is one of the most unique establishments I have ever been to. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. From the space, interior and cuisine. Everything is at the highest level. The food, drinks and atmosphere are indescribable. I am impressed and recommend everyone to visit this place.
3,5 ⭐️
We basically ordered the whole menu to share as a group of 5. Some of the dishes were too salty (kimchi, miso soup), some didn’t leave a big impression. I liked the sandwich and the eggplant dish most. Shokupan and butter croissant were not worth it. Cardamom bun and cruffin were surprisingly good!
Place situated in stocznia Gdańska. In some old factory. We were surprised by the location. The place was huge! Very unusual. Once you enter the room the restaurant is taking just a small area of the floor. The rest is empty which creates a wow effect. The interior design was fabulous. We had sandwiches and bakery items. Matcha and coffee was delicious. I love that the kitchen is open for experimenting. Also great space for co-working.
This place is so hip, it almost hurts to be in it... But wow does it deliver! The food and the drinks were stellar, and the space is extremely interesting. In the end, it was perhaps my favorite cafe I visited in Gdansk. This is now in the top of my recommendations for anyone who would come to visit
Gorgeous coworking space!
Perfect for breakfast, lunch, sweetpastries or coffee break. They offer wide menu with savour and sweet dishes. A lot of drink op a I highly yreccomen trying their matcha.
Unfortunately the pastries we have tried we're a bit dry so I wouldn't say they food is super tasty but the whole place has it's vibe so I still recommend trying it out.
This is how it's done! What an original place, may there be more spaces like this wonderfully utilized. Unique cuisine, delicious coffee, friendly service, and atmosphere! I'll definitely come back and will recommend it further.
Many vegan and vegetarian options, interesting combination of ingredients and tastes. But if you are looking for something more traditional and fulfilling it might not be to your taste. Coffee and service were very good.
I didnt have coffee nor eat there, But the exhibition and space was just 10/10. Very interesting building, I recommend visiting at least an exhibition there.
The coffee place itself looked very good, I will surely come back and have coffee here if i visit Gdansk again.
In terms of food, service and co-working, the space it's great. However, it is very stuffy - was there for some events and whenever more than 50 people are inside it becomes very warm and dizzying. Other than that, great space.
5/5 for the egg sandwich with added salmon alone, it was so perfect for me
Great space, good service, plating is thought-through even though you're served a sandwich. Banana bread was too dry though, batch brew quite watery
I like the atmosphere at this place, that often there are different exhibitions. You will nice selection of drinks and food. I was not lucky with my order. Meat was horrible, it was really salty. Even after I asked to change it did not change. Also long time to wait order around 30 min for food. I wold still will recommend to visit if you have time to spend along a cup of coffee, specially in sunny weather.
Super creative cafe in a huge industrial space with lots of comfortable places to relax and enjoy unique food and drinks.
A nice, vibey place to work and have something to eat or drink. Tasty breakfast options and a nice selection of pastries. Very pleasant staff. Plenty of space for work.
Really great and impressive spot for something to eat or work.
The only point is that prices are to high comparing to portions of food you get.
Great atmosphere, tasty coffee and buns! Good place for slow working and enjoying a coffee.
This place is fancy 👍 drinks and food are tasty; however, the price is high in comparison with portions. But you go there for atmosphere, not just for eating :)
Absoloutely fell in love with this place. Its a 10/10 without a doubt. Wish we had a place like this in Zurich…
Amazing concept combining cafe place with coworking space and art gallery. I always love to go there when I visit Gdansk. Coffee is delicious as well as nice selection of wines and cakes. Dog friendly!
Fantastic place with great breakfast menu which can easily work for entire day. The presentation of the plates is nothing short of fine dining art. We absolutely adored the beef on rice, Japanese eggs, various open sandwiches and a masterpiece of a basque cheesecake. The venue is post industrial area, interior design is top notch. We do not live in Gdansk but this place puts a very strong mark on map of Polish culinary stars, being one of the most impressive, 5/5.
Nice food place, when you can not only eat, but focus on a work or check the gallery posters. Friendly waiters❤️
I would like to have a similar establishment in Wro 😅
It's fancy and all, but kitchen was broken when we came, and we were told by 2 waitresses that they will let us know as soon as they are ready to cook. Was nice to see cooks preparing breakfasts when I was hungrily closing my bill.. Seems that fancy is not enough
Very stylish place and creative fancy meals. If you are very hungry you might need 2 though.
Every time I’m happy to see Yulia behind the bar — she makes the best coffee ever ☺️
I especially loved the unusual coffee with soy syrup, it really stayed with me.
Highly recommended!
Wiktor who was taking care of us as waiter was AMAZING, he was alone for whole seating part and he has absolutely rocked! 🎸
My favourite coworking space :)
I like this place a lot for the vibe, stylish interior and great menu. Food is always nice, coffee is superb. One of the most progressive places in Gdańsk.
Service is always friendly, but often poorly organized. You can see they try their best, like no bad intentions, but all the comments on challenges to place an order are true, we also had that (waited for 30+ minutes to place the order, and then one of the dishes was missed). But they admitted immediately and offered a compliment while we were waiting.
So I will not stop visiting or recommending this place, or bringing my guests, but I hope this little service thing can be improved.
Unique place and actually interesting flavours. For lovers of Japanese inspired cuisine this is a must. All dishes are prepared with great care. If you like it traditional or strictly European you won't be happy though haha!
Food was excellent, we had the shokupan eggs and ham and cheese sandwich, the coffee was very tasty and the vibe is nice.
🌺🌪️ Vibrant and atmospheric place located in former factory building. Delicious alternative coffee with amazing sandwiches. Old docks and this place one of my Gdańsk highlights. Highly recommend.
Amazing huge space in industrial neighbourhood. Great Espresso Tonic but Almond Croissant with Rhubarb just average, nothing special.
!Monumentally overpriced for Central Europe in October. Petite slice of salmon, small coke and half of avocado — PLN70.
Good coworking space in a post-industrial open space. I would bee happy to do some quiet work here.
Kind staff and fast service when needed.
If you choose this space for work, bring your own lunchbox, and buy their good coffee.
My favorite in Gdansk and one of the coolest cafes I've been in. The port's and cafe's energy go perfect together.
Coffee is good, but quite expensive for outside of centre
