During my three-month work stay in San Antonio, Poetic Republic was the style shop I needed when I was homesick. If you'[re from the midwest, specifically the Indianapolis area, this coffee shop might remind you of a mix between Silver Linings in Beech Grove and Prufrock Coffee Company. The staff were very friendly. Overall a great place to get some work done!

I love it here. it’s such a cozy place with nice workers who make the atmosphere better. this is a great place to do remote work!

Cozy environment. Good for conversations or working remotely. Coffee is impressive.

Small and cozy spot. Coffee is good, and the pastries looks very tasty (didn’t have any). It’s a relaxed spot with few seats, so there’s never a large crowd. Ideal for focusing on work. Only complain is the wifi speed. It wasn’t to bad but a few times videos were spotty and load time were pretty long. Other than that it’s great.

Friendly staff, great coffee, a variety of seasonal drinks available. Awesome place to sit and read or get some work done. Get the Optimist lavendar latte!

Heads up on this gem in Southtown! I went for coffee, but got a cappuccino. It had cinnamon, whole milk, honey, and a shot of expresso. It comes with 2 shots, I chose to have one since it was evening. It's called the Down to Earth Cappuccino. So good.
Kudos to the young people working the shop! They're so hospitable. You know you feel when you enter a new establishment, as if everyone is watching your every move! 😄 Well, not there! You, literally, feel like your having a break from life. It's so welcoming, relaxing, mind clearing, and the ambiance is right on! The place looks small, however it's not. There's enough room for social distancing if that concerns you.

Great vibes, great people (all of whom I’ve come to adore), and very good coffee from people who take their craft seriously - without being too serious. It’s a well-cultivated space, great for a bit of laptop working or a bit of quiet reading. This place brings me - and others, per my observations - a lot of joy.
