Locale bar nei pressi del B&B in cui ho soggiornato.
Ottimo il caffè americano, wifi potente consente di lavorare efficacemente.
Locale silenzioso e personale molto gentile.
Super student and laptop friendly, coffee and pastries are delicious, friendly baristas and a very cosy atmosphere for work/studies/wind-down:)
Excellent coffee, very friendly and polite personnel and great atmosphere to hang around, either reading or working with your laptop.
Baristas right on point, making really good cups of coffee with a big smile on their faces. So friendly and attentive. Thank you guys :)
Also you can buy coffee beans.
The place is great to chill or work a little bit, fast wifi. I can only recommend!
Comfortable place to get some coffee and snacks and to stay some time there. Free wifi :)
Lze platit kartou.
4 | Doporučuji vyzkoušet sezónní nabídku, zejména Cold Brew Nitro. Nápoj je doplněný o dusík, káva je tedy velmi krémová.
5 | K jídlu nabízí sendviče a wrapy.
The coffee was amazing, the ambience as well, the staff was very helpfull and could explain the intricacies of the coffee very well, but the wifi was one of the worst I have ever experienced in a coffee shop, so not the best place if you plan to get some work done and do not have a mobile hotspot at hand.
Really great coffee and food! The wifi can be spotty so it's not the best place to post up and work.
We got stolen. There were two guys who apparently knew other people in the cafe since they were standing around for a while and greeting others. One of them standing next to the hangers - we were thinking he was trying to get his jacket - actually stole our money from my wallet (250-300 eur) in my jacket and put the wallet back. I got suspicious, got up and checked the wallet was there so didn't panic. Nice strategy. The hangers are wrongly positioned, the fact that you pay up in front makes you don't need a wallet later. I realized I have no money in my wallet after a couple of hours when I need to pay something else in another place. If the wallet hadn't been in the pocket when I checked, I would have panicked immediately and the guy would still have been there. It certainly didn't seem like this guy didn't know what and where he was stealing. I don't think it was his first time. There are no cameras in the cafe. We reported in the police. We called the cafe later, the employee said it was only her second shift working there and didn't see anybody familiar, that all were tourists. The two guys we remember didn't seem like tourists at all.
Since there's no reply option, here's my reply in edit:
A coffee for 300 eur should be golden to deserve more stars, no? :) thank you for your suggestion - yes, leaving the wallet in my jacked hanged in from of my eyes is surely not the wisest thing to do in places/town where there are guests who steal (I wasn't aware of this fact, just arrived in Riga yest). I do think your location/the shop does bare responsibility for what's happening inside of it, the coffee service put aside. A couple of suggestions: 1. put cameras inside. 2. train the employees how to respond so it makes people who get stolen feel at least bit batter that you care (and that it helps that we did report to you). I am glad you are the owner and now aware of this issue. Hopefully this is the first time happening - although the guy seemed quite well trained - especially having in mind the location of the hanger. Yes I earn those money with hard work, didn't feel like having 300 eur coffee.
TLDR: Real coffee in the baltics! Must try the magic p Ethiopia espresso tonic!
Having been on a grand coffee tour of the Baltic's, I discovered this place in search for 'proper' coffee. I asked one of the girls for their recommendation and she made me an espresso tonic with a double basket. It was actually AMAZING. Thank you (I didn't catch her name). Great place for working, vibey.
Great coffee and service. Good place for unformal business meeting or short out of office working session.
